Fertility improvement without PCOS?

My husband and I have been TTC for 17 cycles and our Napro recently suggested trying carnivore. I did have endometriosis surgery 2 months ago, but no PCOS or insulin resistance. Has anyone had success in a similar situation?

9 dpo - evap or vvvfl?

This is most likely an evap line right? Took the test this morning then fell asleep for 2 hours before I checked on it.

LH peak on Letrozole

Has anyone ever had what looked like a LH peak but then it came back stronger? This is my first cycle on letrozole so I was hoping for a stronger peak. Maybe tomorrow?

I was told I don’t meet criteria

I saw a pain doctor today and asked about potential hypermobility. He looked at my pinkies and elbows and said “you don’t meet hypermobility criteria.” He told me I’m “flexible”, not hypermobile. I dont have any hyperextension of my elbows or knees, but I can bend over and put my palms flat on the floor with zero issue, can sit in the floor with my legs in a W shape, can do the reverse prayer pose, pinkies bend back past 90 degrees, I can pull my thumbs down to touch my forearms, my jaw pops anytime I open my mouth or chew, etc. I also have chronic hip, back, and neck pain. What am I missing?

Bed bugs?

Could these be bed bug bites? We stayed at an Airbnb for three nights because I traveled to have surgery. The place seemed clean but of course I didn’t check the mattresses. I noticed these bites as we were leaving (staying at a hotel now for two nights). They weren’t as red/ big until I started itching them. My knee seems to be the only location. I believe I wore shorts the first night sleeping at the Airbnb but pants the next two. My husband hasn’t noticed any new bites and he slept in boxers, but his legs were already covered in poison ivy so I guess it would be hard to tell anyways. What do we do? How much should we be freaking out? Do we need to bomb our car and burn our luggage?

Surgery in 2 days + HSV outbreak

I’m kind of freaking out. My diagnostic surgery is in two days and I just noticed a herpes lesion (I’ve had HSV-2 for 10 years) on my perineum. I started my antiviral meds but I doubt the lesion will be healed by Wednesday. I’ve waited a while to get in for this surgery, I’ve also planned an entire trip around it and will be traveling 10+ hours one way. I would be devastated to have to reschedule 😥 Anyone have any experience with this?

Outbreak + surgery in two days

Kinda freaking out! I’m having diagnostic laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in two days, which involves going through the abdomen but the cervix as well. I just noticed a herpes lesion on my perineum. I’ll take 500mg valacyclovir twice today and tomorrow, but I doubt the lesion will be fully healed by Wednesday. I’m really worried because I planned a whole trip and I’m traveling 10+ hours for this surgery. I’ve waited a while to have it done and I would be devastated to have to reschedule. Anyone have experience with this or anything similar?

I genuinely can’t tell anymore.

I’m dealing with infertility, endometriosis, hEDS, chronic back/hip/neck pain, Bertolotti’s syndrome, anxious attachment, body image issues, lipedema, possible autism, social anxiety, etc. and I feel like life just feels harder for me than it seems to for other people?

Even simple things feel emotionally and physically draining sometimes. I’m constantly tired, overwhelmed, self-conscious, uncomfortable in my body, worried about the future, and now worried about whether I’m secretly lazy or dramatic or using my problems as excuses.

I especially struggle with the guilt of needing rest or wanting support. I work in EMS, in New England, and I feel like the culture is very “push through it, stop complaining, everyone hurts.” So anytime I advocate for myself or slow down, I immediately feel weak or like I’m having a pity party.

What messes with my head is that I’m well aware everyone has struggles. I know life is hard for lots of people. Older generations especially seem so much tougher than me. Which makes me wonder if I’m just an overly sensitive “snowflake”, attention-seeking, and/or incapable of coping normally.

At the same time, I honestly do feel like I’m carrying a lot physically and emotionally, and I don’t know how to stop feeling angry, exhausted, discontent, and emotionally heavy all the time. I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else feels this way? Like you’re trying hard, functioning, working, showing up, etc, but internally life feels so much heavier than it seems to for other people?

And how do you tell the difference between legitimate struggle vs victim mentality/self pity or weakness?
