Built a ‘second’ brain app and grew it to a couple hundred users

Over the years I’ve tried a lot of productivity apps, reminder apps, second brain systems, etc.

The biggest thing I realized is that I wasn’t struggling with huge projects or deep work.

It was the constant stream of tiny things sitting in the back of my mind all day:

- reply to that text
- book appointment
- buy toothpaste
- send that email later
- remember that random thing tomorrow

A lot of apps eventually started feeling like another system I had to maintain rather than something that actually reduced mental clutter.

So I ended up building Drift for myself.

The idea is basically:

- quickly dump thoughts/tasks
- let the app organize them
- get gently reminded later
- stop mentally carrying everything around all day

I’ve been trying to make it feel calmer and less overwhelming than traditional productivity apps or rigid to-do lists.

It’s only been out for about a month, but it’s already
grown to a few hundred users, which has honestly been really validating because it made me realize how many people struggle with the same “too many tabs open in my brain” feeling.

For anyone interested, the app is called Drift:
App Store Download

Would genuinely love feedback since it’s still really early.

I feel like adhd isn't about all the big tasks, its all the tiny ones that add up

Hiya guys, lately ive realized the things that overwhelm me aren't huge responsibilities - it's the constant stream of tiny things floating around in my head all day - if you get what I mean?

like replying to ppl, remembering appointments, small chores, finishing that later, etc.

like individually they're small, but together it feels like my brain is running a million tabs at once?

I tried normal to do list/reminder apps like the native apple one for a bit, but they always ended up feeling too rigid or stressful, so I started to just dump thoughts somewhere immediately before I forgot them.

Honestly that helped a lot because im not constantly trying to mentally hold onto everything anymore.

Im sure im not the only one who feels this - its a pretty exhausting part of ADHD I feel

▲ 2 r/MetaAdsManager+1 crossposts

So i recently launched an app promotion campaign for my IOS app. I setup the app correctly in meta developers and I integrated the conversions API. The goal of my campaign is to maximise app events (specifically StartTrial). Now i started this campaign about 3 days ago - Ive already gotten a couple trial starts and the events are being recieved in events manager - however, it doesnt show on ads manager (its been 48hrs +) - this is an issue right? cuz meta wouldnt know whats working and whats not?

In events manager - I can see the StartTrial event is being 'Used by 1 ad set' - the same ad set that is running my ads currently - but it the events seem to not show on ads manager.

Could someone explain why? or if someone could help me take a look please?

thank you!
