Can't believe I didn't think of doing this one, damn. They're all reasonably within range of each other which means even Lui who's considered the weakest has a chance of winning, it might just come down to their character traits.

Clearly these moments were also to show how Silas and Free had developed as characters but still-- what do you guys think?

Since he was clearly a skilled blader gathering points for the International Bladers Cup and also someone that Wakiya almost scouted.

So-- I was planning my next actual battle question involving this scene and I realized-- where tf is Ian in these battles?? This guy showed up to look pretty, aimed his launcher, and then...wasn't anywhere battling.

So this might be kinda odd to answer since they're across seasons but I do wanna hear thoughts. Using Lui because he was the original guy to beat and he was narratively a champion tier blader throughout Burst.

Then we have Gwyn. Actual prodigy, literally didn't know how to launch then launched perfectly on his second try. A person that mathematically understood how battles could playout without even knowing how to battle in the first place. Gwyn defeated Arthur who beat Aiger, Dante, and Delta in his third battle of his career, and his main issues were failing to understand the power of friendship, and anything else that he didn't calculate (ex: Dragon awakening, Dragon spinning in reverse).

Keeping them in their prime because narratively, their drives change. For example, while it's not mentioned in the anime, in the manga Lui states that the reason he and Free lost to Lain is because their drive to get stronger had weakened (even if they remained top tiers of the verse). The same example could be used for pre, start, and end of season 2 Free.

So I tried looking into this topic and I saw while Ronan is probably so much stronger since the power stone can blow up planets, it seems like a lot of people agree that Ronan is an idiot? Lmao, and that attaching the stone to a hammer is the worst thing he's ever done.

So Ronan should scale higher power wise, but how does this battle go?

I am of the opinion that Yu could have handled the entirety of Team Garcia by himself in a fair battle. He unfortunately doesn't get many 1v1's and his scaling is super awkward, but just by the matchup he theoretically would perform very well.

Argo has unfortunately fallen into the Backrooms??? How does this battle go?

I'm pretty sure this will just end up as Dynamis or a tie due to the narrative at the time, but I like hearing people talk about things.

I feel like for the scene in the moment, you could argue King gets a "he's angry" boost lmao vs Chris who had just awakened, but honestly they both take advantages. Who do you guys got winning it?

Clio's feats are pretty lackluster. The highest you can scale him to is Daigo which would still put him around this Silas's level, but the battle of Clio beating Daigo was a flashback meaning you'd have to upscale him to Daigo based on that. Other than that, his only relevant battles are against Cuza. Silas is reasonably more consistent, but how does this battle go?
