i just been trying out different weapons in the Exodus Crash GM alert, but dear lord does that starter Barrier Hobgoblin just dont want to go down. it doesnt help that he scrunches up covering his weakspot when he bubbles

obviously primaries are completely out, from tremor hung jury to any handcannon, it just doesnt matter they cant do it

then even an exotic as specialized as Wish Ender is just too slow and cumbersome

but even with a rewind Hammerhead did it take an insane amount of bullets to bring him down

What is peoples best way to deal with such a huge powergap and such a troublesome enemy?

Praxis blade with artifact mods is very easy, still takes 4-5 full combos, but atleast its 1 weapon that can fully solo the barrier hobgoblin lol

Asbalest does 1hit the shield, and is kinda strong still. strong weapon to use, but easy to run out of bullets at which point you are shit out of luck. it was still harder to kill it with arbalest and a bait and switch rocket than praxis blade

Under-Over barrier LMG was good for breaking the shield, but terrible to actually do damage to it, also way too long reloads

Erianas Vow took 2 shots to break the shield, and was overal way too slow and would take up the secondary slot which should have some juicy primary elemental handcannon imo

Gjallerhorn: surprisingly i wasnt even able to take down this one barrier hobgoblin with 10 rockets from gjaller

that people keep trying to do it in destiny pvp?

every match there is atleast one, who looks like they got a crouch spam macro tied to ADS'ing and boy does it just completely not work. ive never felt like woah hes juking my shots lol

it just looks... like the wrong kinda sweaty. like someone who thinks they are good at pvp because they watch a youtube video "66 tips to become a pvp master"

i honestly cant imagine it was a good competitive fps but more one of the kids ones like cod or fortnite
