Charlie Brooker is going to retire eventually, so I was thinking about how the series would conclude.

I was thinking of a special along the lines of White Christmas and Bandersnach and the idea is that it is INSANELY meta. The episode would straight up be titled “The Black Mirror” and explain the Black Mirror effect.
The story would be about an artist trying to figure out how to finish their creation. Charlie Brooker himself would either cameo or star in it.

That, or different creatives would just continue the show.

What do you think? How will the show end, if at all?

My guess is that 7 and 7B are separate “game instances” because otherwise Chapter 7 would be too complicated to develop and would cause slowdown as well as other issues.

For the uninitiated, each chapter in Deltarune is programmed as a separate “game”, including the Chapter Selection Screen. This is done for a number of reasons, including the game’s episodic release, ease of development for the team, and so bugs/glitches introduced in new chapters don’t break prior chapters.

Sometimes there’s issues with certain things transferring from one chapter to another but that is typically because of a pre-existing issue in the prior chapter that just hadn’t been discovered yet-Like Jackenstein not coming to Ch. 5 castle town if you fight the Titan Spawn.

It seems like 7 is going to be a really damn big chapter, and 7B most certainly will be. I would not be surprised if they’re separated like this for more than just story reasons.

Edit: and to add on, will 7B be accessible from the Chapter Selection Screen? If so, how? Will we have three save files for 7B? How would that work?

I’m glad the game has released the way it has been, but I wonder what things would be like if the game rolled out it’s content in different ways.

I don’t even live in cove but it pisses me off to no end…I’m over there frequently to visit friends and the clubhouse (Who needs drugs when you have Pita Pit?) and the construction changes the path I take EVERY DAMN TIME.

So today (The 13th) I was doing Laundry in the halls and when it came time to bring my clothes from the washer into the dryer, I realized that all the dryers occupied…kinda.

Only two driers were actually running-every other dryer had clothes in them but had finished their cycle. So, I was like, “Okay…I’m sure SOMEONE will come within the next five minutes will come get their stuff”.

Five minutes go by, no one comes.

I ask five or six people who were walking through the lobby if they’re doing laundry-nope.

Darn it.

So, the thing is, it’s like 9:30. I’m tired. I don’t want to be up for more than an hour and a half. I don’t want to be up later just because someone won’t take their freaking laundry.

So, I pick a dryer at random and open it, with the intention of putting it on top of the upright washer.

It was very clearly a woman’s clothing-I am male.

Ok, so, I had already opened up one person’s laundry, and one felt like enough of a violation. I wasn’t opening up more laundry. So I just…took it out, and put it on top of one of the washers.

Let me make something CRYSTAL clear-I DO NOT TAKE PLEASURE IN TOUCHING WOMEN’S LAUNDRY. I DO NOT TAKE PLEASURE IN TOUCHING ANYONE’S LAUNDRY.

BUT…

I am NOT waiting for you to take your own freaking laundry. Especially when it’s late and I’ve already waited a few minutes. When you use public laundry/coin washes, you are expected to remove your laundry on time so others, who rely on it, can use it.

I still felt bad though, because I know that I wouldn’t want to find my laundry dumped out for everyone to see. But, I also know that if i’m not on top of my laundry, I can expect to see it dumped on the floor. I feel like you are OBLIGATED to be on top of your laundry when using public machines.

After I put my stuff in the dryer, I then realized something else-On speedqueen, it gives you the option to get a text notification when you’re almost done. But I didn’t get the “done in three minutes” notification until several minutes after it finished its cycle.

This wasn’t an issue last week when I did laundry, so I figured that this was a recent glitch, so I put up a note-“PLEASE SET UP A BACKUP ALARM-I don’t want to touch your laundry”.

Well, when I came back down, I saw my index card crumpled up on the ground and a sticky note in its place-The note read “Please refrain from touching other people’s belongings! It’s an invasion of privacy when you take people’s clothes out and put them where people can see!” (Guys, I think I pissed her off…)

Which, like, fair. You’re not at all wrong. I’m not mad about that.

What I AM mad about is that you then went and opened my laundry, meaning that nothing finished drying, which forced me to restart the load, spend more money, and stay up until 11:30 doing laundry.

The way speedqueen works is that if you open up your load, the timer still ticks down. Meaning if someone happens to be pissed at you, they can open your laundry, and it won’t resume where it left off when it is shut again.

Let me be clear-I’m not mad she looked at my laundry. Quite frankly, Fair’s fair. I probably deserved that.

I would be a hypocrite if I were mad about that.

I’m pissed she made me stay up another hour because she messed up my dryer cycle. That’s just a WHOLE extra layer of petty.

So, here’s my ultimate question:

Am I the dick here?

Is SHE the dick here?

Are we BOTH dicks?

Were we both justified in our responses?

I fear the first but suspect the third and fourth.

(I’m not looking for validation, just perspective. Feel free to critique both parties, but especially me. I read every comment I get. Please rip me apart if you feel i’m in the wrong here. At the very least, I hope I made you laugh.)

For context, we talk about politics a lot (and we’re well beyond the point of TMI), but had a stronger reaction than I anticipated…(especially considering she’s seen stuff several times more graphic, such as the entirety of The Boys.)

I don’t think anyone forgets about this episode after watching it, but this definitely tested our friendship…we had a VERY interesting conversation afterwards though, so maybe it was worth it.

Have you had anyone watch this episode?

Since the opening of Epic Universe I’ve been really excited to go out and visit the parks and talk about my favorite rides, restaurants, and what I want to see in the future. But something that has been bugging me is that, I believe back in 2019, JK Rowling revealed that she has certain political views that 1) are hateful and target a minority group, and 2) do NOT align with my and many others’ views on said topic.

I’m not here to debate politics. There’s a reason I danced around what the topic was. (Most of you know what I’m talking about though) There’s a million other places to discuss that further. What I’m interested in is if this has affected people much in how they engage with the parks. Personally, I still occasionally go, but I don’t spend money on Harry Potter merchandise.

Edit: I wanted to add more options to the poll but Reddit limits you to six options. Let me make it clear-You are not a bad person if you are against her views and still go to the parks. If I could edit the poll, I would change “don’t care” to something like “I just want to go to a Theme Park and forget about politics for a while”

A week ago I made a post about UNF offering Studio Art Models, and it got a STUPID amount of attention. It got around 24 THOUSAND views, substantially larger than the current class size. I’m sure there’s a handful of people who used to attend who still lurk around here but it can’t be THAT many…right? (This isn’t any kind of academic survey, I’m just curious)

For this scenario, let’s say for technical reasons the park will only ever be able to be open for 11 hours at a time, 12 hours with early entry. Early Entry obviously starts an hour earlier in each example.

(I know the overnight isn’t really feasible but it’s cool to think about.)
