Engine Shut-Off Device

That auto off/on engine thing drives me nuts, and still can't make heads or tails of when it decides to do it.

Been looking at the devices you can install, and most seem for the Bronco not Bronco Sport, but I have found a few with very mixed reviews and very different prices, around $25CAD-$200CAD.

Anyone recommend one that's not too expensive and works? Ideally a Canadian site since buying across the border now is just way too expensive.

We have 1 company that we do bookkeeping for that has us printing cheques for them (vendor/invoice payments) and when we print, it has their name/address in the upper left corner. The pre-printed sheets they provided already have an address and logo there so now the same info gets overlapped.

I Googled for a fix, and the most I could find was to remove the address from the company info, which doesn't seem like a fix.

How do I disable printing the client's name/address on cheques?

I saw a post, then lost it, where you can just pop-off the seat cushion without tools.

Is that true? or do I need tools? and do I need to remove the whole frame as well?

Just got it 2nd hand, and when I took out the panel that sits on the spare tire I could see under that back seat and it definitely needs some cleaning. Rest of the car, spotless, but they neglected to clean under the back seat.

Not new, but new to me. I haven’t had anything newer than 10–15 years in decades and I wasn’t planning on getting one, it wasn’t even on my shortlist because it looked kind of small. I’m a big, tall guy. I sat in a few cars at the lot, and this one just happened to be in the same group/cluster, so I tried it and was very surprised at the space.

I’m not used to the engine shutting off at stops, though—I thought it had stalled. It also seems random when it happens. I went for a coffee and, while in line, it shut off; then I moved forward, stopped again, and it stayed on. What determines when it shuts off?

Other than that, does anyone have a good maintenance schedule for it? I’ve found two online that are very different. One said (for example) transmission fluid at 96,000 km, another said 240,000 km.

Mine has more kilometres than I was initially looking for, but I bought it anyway because the others they had were the model down, and I really liked this interior. It also came with a full set of extra alloy rims and winter tires (which is pretty handy in Canada). I’m at 90,000 km now. The oil was just done at the dealer, and during the safety inspection a pinhole leak in the catalytic converter was found and replaced for free. I’m thinking it’s probably close to time for transmission fluid and spark plugs, plus the cabin and engine air filters—but it would be nice to have a proper schedule. I’m not sure which one online is accurate.
