Help with progressing the game and other tips

So, first time trying to go through the game. I completed 1-1 and started to go to 1-2 but Tower Knight killed me and want to instead get to it later on. I feel I don’t have good weapons so I’ll have to get better weapons before trying to take Tower Knight again. I played DS3 up until a certain point and never finished it, but this time I want to finish Demons Souls before getting back to DS3 and other Souls games.

After getting killed by the Tower Knight I saw that some people have recommendations of how to progress the world and that in order to get other bosses to open, first we’d have to fight other bosses to open everything up to the last boss. I’m a little confused but so far I have a list and would like to know what would be the best route to take to progress this game. Im not that good but want to get good at the game. Give me good tips about the game and what I should be doing going forward.

So here is the paths I’m trying to take, and for all of you who’ve already beat the game, which path do you guys recommend me taking?

So… first time chosen for a play test!

I was chosen for the play test of this game, so now how will this work? We have limited time to play test and then do we need to record or just write what is happening in the game? I believe we cannot discuss anything with anyone so just play the game and test it out?

Also how many of you are dads looking for the time to play test the sht out of this game?

AC not working how to fix issue on my 2017 Chevy Tahoe?

I’ve already spent $200 on these Recharge Kits and nothing works. It was working perfectly fine one day and then the next day it went off. I’ve tried checking everything but I do not know what to do. My dad has a vacuum and took everything out and then just today I went in and spent $100 more to get more of this bottles. We used one, I’m not trying to use the other one anymore, but we used on and on the PSI it’s says that is sitting at 20 PSI. Before trying anything else I’d like to know what are my possibilities with this issue.

This truck came with so many issues and I still have warranty on it. I’m thinking on taking it to the shop again to check for some other issues that I still have and this newly issue that just came up. If anyone could guide me as to what to do I will appreciate it.

Need help with keeping my Fiber Installation job or moving to another IT job?

I’m new to Fiber Optics and thinking on moving on for a different career or are there better options before I proceed with moving on?

So here’s a few things about this job… It might be a great job for those that do not have much to do back at home. The job pays good, usually averaging around $1,500 to $2,000 a week as a beginner Installation Tech. This is a good pay but the bad thing is that it’s not a good work-life balance as I’m usually back at home until 6 or 7 pm. Usually average 5-6 jobs per day but sometimes jobs get added getting closer to when I’m done for the day.

I don’t think I’ll get another better job that pays this well until I get some sort of certifications and experience, but as of now I don’t even think this job is worth it for me. Talk me out of this or help me out with learning more of what I should be doing. Im a 26 year old guy with 2 kids that my only reason to keep doing this job is to keep working to get this type of money, but due to not having a good work-life balance is also affecting my thoughts.

The job is easy when you get to do underground work, but when it comes to doing aerial, it is more time consuming and more hard on your body. I used to have a good physic but stopped doing anything to keep my physic in good condition and after doing these jobs I get asthma attacks that affects the way I work. I’ve tried talking to see if I could get these jobs mixed up in underground and aerial work, but that didn’t work. Other techs have it really easy because they were assigned to only doing underground jobs that only require you to run drops on the ground and I’m one of the guys that are stuck with doing aerial jobs and that’s one thing I didn’t like.

Running drops on the ground is much easier but I guess that is not an option for me and that’s one of the reasons I’d like to move to something else. I have an Associates in Information Technology, mainly focusing in Web Development but have been procrastinating a lot and now I’m stuck without having a good job. I don’t know if I should run on some different coursers or certifications to get something different or just trying to stick with job or trying to move on to something else. It’s hard looking for something else as I’ve applied and nothing helps. Any advice on this matter?

Check for Aerial or Buried drops?

Hello, so after working here for a few days, I’m trying to see if there’s an easy way to know where my drops will be. I’ll be running drops and in my area most of the time it’s going to be buried drops but sometimes I will have to run aerial drops and currently don’t have all the equipment. Is there a way to check if the area will have aerial or buried fiber? I used to use an app which I think it was DigView when I was locating lines and that basically gave me all the information I needed.

Here with this company I don’t really know what type of area I’ll be running into and now I’m stuck calling my supervisor to see what’s going to happen because I don’t had the equipment needed to run these things.

Fiber installation beginner job

I made a post here some time ago about getting this job. I’m in the training phase and after this week I’ll be on my own and just have a few questions. Work should be pretty doable and somewhat easy than my other jobs, but I have an update on what the pay will be and how it will work out.

So for this job I’ll need to use my own truck, tools, latter and some other things. It’s not that hard of a job based on difficulty but it can be somewhat tedious and takes long to do. This is just basically going to the address and you installing the fiber line, connecting to the pedestal, taking the line to the house box and feeding the fiber line through the house to connect to the modem and router.

Job looks pretty simple and easy and after this week my pay will be $26 an hour for 6 weeks of work. This is the time they’ll give me to see how I progress on my job workflow. It’s an 8 to 4 job sometimes 5 but being hourly I would get overtime pay if I ever go over that time which I think it’s good for me. They give out a $64 per diem which is good to use for gas and other stuff. Thats like $300 extra to use for gas and basically anything else I’d like to use. It is my own truck too so I’d have to take everything into consideration. But so far I’m thinking that pay is good.

Now after the 6 weeks is done, I get to move on to the pay per unit. On my other post I was asked to get more information on that and it looks like I do have more information on that. So for an installation it’s basically $90 to $100 which I guess it’s based on experience. The guy I’m working with told me that he was getting $90
For installation, $45 for repair, and $15 for showing up but the customer not being there or some other amount for incomplete installation.

He changed it up to $100 for installation, $50 for repair, and $20 for incomplete. I’m guessing that might have been a good raise for him but so far what I’m thinking it’s around the $90, $45 and $15 mark for someone just starting out. Depending on how fast I move and do my job, and getting between 4 to maybe 8 jobs and having them mixed it might be a good total of, $1,300 a week after taxes. Day between 2 or 3 installations and repairs it would be something around $200 to $300 or even more a day depending on the jobs. So with this information do you guys think it’s a good job to do? I forgot to add that with that I’ll still be getting the $64 a day for gas and everything else so the money adds up.

I’ll be trying to average 2 hours per job, so if I get 5 jobs a day that would be my 8 or 10 hours for the day. I know that if I get fast and efficient I might end up spending less of my time and making more money per hour, but that will take time. After my training I believe it’s a requirement of working Saturdays but not every Saturday so I believe it’s a good work life balance. But my question here is will a per pay unit give you over time pay or how does that work? I’m pretty sure working hourly if I go over the 40 hour mark, anything after that it’s going to be over time. I guess this is the only thing I have for questions. Thanks in advance for the help.

Received this email and now wondering what will happen with my scheduled blocks

I received this email today saying that I need to add my Drivers License, and it was renewed like 1 to 2 weeks ago. I only received a Temporary Copy with no barcode or anything which that is how these are giving out. Flex Amazon ask me to update but it wants me to scan my License when I don’t have the physical copy yet, but I tried submitting the temporary copy… so know what, what would happen to my blocks I had already scheduled?

Amazon is really stu and pid when it comes to all of this. If a License is renewed and it’s not here before we get the renewed one, they should make it possible for the temporary one to go through and make it available to use until the renewed one comes in. Now I have to go through this shitty I issue where I have to wait for them to accept it or wait for my license to get here and lose all my money and my blocks I had already scheduled. It’s literally the same fkn information with one extra month added to the expiration date!

But what will happen with my scheduled blocks? They took so long to give me payment for a block I attended and waited over a damn hour at the station with an error to the pickup page and now o have to go through this for I don’t know how long and risking getting dinged because they don’t even know how their system works??! Too much to go through this bull.

Amazon Flex did not pay me after their issue with not giving me a block and pay

I went today at 5:45 am to pickup a black at the VNE1 station and after waiting more than 40 minutes I didn't get a block or got discharged with pay. After the 40 minute mark, I was sitting there stuck with the "waiting for route" on the pick up screen and I hadn't received any routes. I went to the useless Amazon warehouse associates and they didn't provide with the help that i needed.

| literally had this problem happen in December were I either didn't get no routes or the flex had issues and I didn't receive my pay even though I was waiting at the station for longer that the 30 minute mark.

Today I went to the station, I noticed that the app had a route for me but after walking up to the number! checked the app and the route wasn't there and it took me back to the "waiting for route" page. I went to look for a cart, but on that number there was no cart. I didn't think much and just went to sit down as noting was appearing on my pickup page. At 6:20 am l checks and still had no route. Usually at the 27 minute mark of waiting, I get sent home with pay but this time the application was not showing anything. I went to the useless associates and after getting into an argument they told me that they couldn't do anything like the incompetent people they are.

I called the support number but they are also incompetent people that never help, and only told me that they would put that information in an email. After calling them at the 6:30 am mark, I got a message displaying a "see an Amazon associate" in the pickup page. I was so mad and went in again to show these guys the message I was getting. They said they wouldn't do any and then I sent an email to Jeff and Andy. I haven't received a response and I haven't received my pay.

I was sitting at the station for more than an hour and! received no pay and no monkey. I really wish they had a main office somewhere to go put up a complaint.
They are literally screwing us and playing with us and they are just messing with our money. I have received no pay even though this was their issue. I was at the station like how the Amazon flex app asks you to be and still these guys aren't responding.

Getting a position as a Fiber Optic installation technician?

Hello, so I’ve recently applied for this position and got a call. I was going through some of their information and I have a few questions about the work life balance, pay and a few more things that might come up.

So, they say I need to use my own truck and bring my own tools. They have a sign on bonus of $5,000 with the first 30 days being $500. I need to mount a ladder but I’m a little afraid of that. Looking at pay I would like to get out of that fear but as for my questions. Is this a good job position for me? I’m 25 and worked as a Utility Locating Technician, so I’ve basically been around the fiber, locating the services and everything else. Have not installed anything but I’ve been around locating them.

They give out a 2 week paid training program with a pay starting at $18 an hour. They give out a $64 per day allowance for gas expenses and I guess other things and that’s just for the starting training weeks. After the training, the company said that we move onto a 6 week on the field work to get the experience needed. Pay rate is $26 an hour plus I think it’s the same $64 or a little more, allowance per day. As for this part I would like to know if that is real and I’m not running into some fake job that just wants me to join and then say something different once I work for them.

From what they said, I really like this idea and it’s also a 8:00 am to 4:00 pm so I guess that would work with me. As a Utility Locator I was making $21 an hour, plus working from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm only making around $1,200 per week after taxes. These six weeks would be great to get everything going for me. My other question would be… for those of you working in this type of position, how’s your work life balance? I would hope it’s better than being a Utility Locator. Also to add they said they require a Saturday so I might be good with that.

Now after the 6 weeks depending on how you work, they said our compensation would be converted to unit pay. This is where I don’t understand how this works and I don’t understand what it is, so a little more information on this would be appreciated. I need a good job right now as I’ll be needing money. If anyone has more information that they could give me about this job, I will highly appreciate it.

Help with leave time and getting back to work

Hello, so hopefully I can get help with this as I don’t know what to do. I have never had this happen before so if I can get some advice as what to do next that would be of help.

So, I was on a leave for a month, I had to take out this time as I needed to be with my family. Talked with HR, let my supervisor know and everything, and after all of that HR had approved of everything. I got approved and then they gave me a date where I was supposed to go back to work. Then I went into the month leave and also used my PTO which I still have some hours left. I only got paid for the 40
Hours of PTO and they had used my sick time as I don’t know why they did it if I only asked for my PTO to be used.

I’ve been out a month without a pay since this state didn’t offer a good benefit that would have covered a longer leave with pay, but I guess that is what it is. Now I was supposed to be back someday ago, but it seemed that the supervisor didn’t get an email saying that I would be back and they don’t even have me in the system. HR gave me a date to return to work and I let the supervisor a few days before but still it didn’t seem I was in the system.

I wasn’t able to work and I tried calling HR to let them know that I was on a leave and that I was supposed go back to work. They asked if I was on a leave and i said yes, then they told me that they would let the department know and that they would make the change so that I wouldn’t be marked as I was on a leave.

They told me to call them back if i didn’t receive a call from them but at this point I don’t even want to call back. I was supposed to be back on a certain date and at this point I’m not making money. I checked my leave time and after having my Personal Leave, it looks like they are trying to add something that is called Cobra-Leave which might be a coverage from COBRA, but I don’t think I’m going to pay any of that.

I was looking online and it says that I would have to make an agreement after a few days on if I wanted to extend my leave time using COBRA, but that wasn’t what I was agreeing to. My agreement was that I would be back to work on the date that they game me but as of know it seems that they have a big mess. I’m not even in the system and I wasn’t supposed to be back to work a few days ago.

Now, with all of this being said, has anyone had any time of experience going through all of this? Any one that could give me advice on what I should be doing? I haven’t quit and won’t be the one making that decision, but is there something that I could do if I end up not getting the job back?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So I have a Legion Go S and I had RetroDeck setup on it. Have the systems that I wanted and everything it looks like when playing anything in this handheld it looks like everything stutters or lags every few seconds. Is there any fix to this? I don’t really know what would be the problem or how to fix this, but it does the same thing for every game and every system. It even does like that little skip frame in the RetroDeck itself when I’m choosing a game. Any way to fix this?

Hey, so here’s an update to my collection. I have preordered a Batch 6 AYN Thor Pro (was really close to buying a Batch 5 before they changed everything but didn’t pull the trigger until now) and now I’m just waiting until it gets shipped which will take some time. But I have this current collection. After making the Thor purchase I was thinking of maybe getting rid of two of my handhelds and I don’t know if anyone would be interested in these. They are modded and hold a bunch of games so I’ll list everything here:

Modded New 3DS XL

- Comes with a 128GB microSD card and games already downloaded. Has every Pokemon, Zelda and other games already downloaded. Plays NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS and probably other systems.

Modded PS Vita OLED Screen

- Comes with a 256GB microSD card and games already downloaded. Can play various systems but the main ones I have downloaded are PS1, PSP and PS Vita.

Both are in great condition and comes with screen protector, plastic covers and some cases for each not in photo.
