Picked this bad boy up in trade today (part 2 of 2 trades I made today ; I have to get off fb marketplace I have a problem), had some mini heart attacks because the condition of the hardware and the serial number in the case didn’t match the back. I’m 98% sure it’s a real deal just wanted to cure my anxious mind. What do we think?
I understand why it happened because it raised the stakes and set up the climax of Dom and Brian hunting down the Tran’s; but I wish it’d have been Leon or someone like that because Jesse’s character was so cool. His brains and personality were very unique and he played so well off of the top of the cast and his character could’ve been fleshed out in the sequels some more. Rewatching the first movie right now and just a thought I had, I love Jesse in this. He’d fit right into today’s culture imo, the nails the eccentrics the smarts the with. He was awesome. RIP JESSE
I’ve been hooked on researching preamp pedals because there is one in particular I want very badly. But my late 70’s JC 120 doesn’t have an FX loop just two Main In’s on the back. Reading up on it once you plug into the main in it auto bypasses the JC’s pre amp and directs the input into its dedicated speaker. Light bulb moment two fold because I can use my stereo chorus delay and reverb and put them after my pre amp pedal. So I chucked a couple other pedals on my board to simplify(and yes I’ll run a longer cable so my wet fx aren’t upside down eventually) but this little experiment was really cool and opened up a wave of new sounds and ideas. Very inspiring. I suppose I could’ve done the same thing with the hi and low inputs on the front as well. And then to really knock my socks I ran my 2x12 as an external speaker to create my first half stack. Idk it’s been a fun day

Is it Chunky Chimp or Chutney Chimp?
Because I swear in “Movies” it’s chunky chimp but in other episodes, especially in early season 1 like “Takeaway” for example Bandit is telling the kids how long 10 minutes is and he’s like “it’s about the length of a Chutney Chimp episode”
Went to Walmart and picked up a spur of the moment brisket. Noticed the one I picked up was choice which I thought was weird since the last one I got from here was select and I thought that’s all they had. Come to find out they are priced the same at $5.46 per pound for both choice and select. Just something to consider this weekend.
This thing oozes 70’s mojo. Set up my Friedman amp for moderate overdrive and it’s an arena rock weapon. This thing *SINGS* , only 20 minutes playing chords turning knobs and I’m blown away. Rich sustain, harmonics for days. It’s beautiful and sounds even better. Love at first strum.
I’m sure this has been brought up ad nauseam , but I’m so FUCKING SICK of hearing about Trump this Trump that on campaign ads for the primaries. Whether that’s senator, gubernatorial, or representative races (hell I think even my local fucking coroner said Trump endorsed him)

And the lowest common denominator of maga cultists in SC eat this shit up.
