Recently my pond got very clear, this is because all the weeds have clumped up or floated. I haven’t caught a bass there besides a 3 pounder i got lucky with ( he was right at the bank so I was just sight casting a wacky rig ).

There’s a big section with loose grass floated, it’s covers about 15-20% of the pond. I launched my life in it by accident today and when I reeled it, it didn’t seem like crazy thick. I’ve only caught bullheads, all as a bycatch. Today at my local pond a dude caught a 12.5 lb cat, i’m aussmimg blue cat. How do i catch one? He caught it on a cut bluegill head, no idea what rig.

I’m going fishing tomorrow at hempstead lake NY. i’ve caught a 20-40 bass but my brother in law has only caught b luegill. I’m not very confident in bass i usually get skunked only sometimes catch. What should we throw there and where?

To preface, yes i’m 16. No that doesn’t hinder my ability to detail cars. My dad flips cars and he has me detail cars for him. I’m pretty good at it, especially exterior. I can do paint correction headlight restoration seat stain removal, the works. Last year I had exactly 1 customer (from a neighborhood app, called next door i think. School starts in 20 days exactly, and my height is march 26. I really want to make money so I can buy a NB miata for my first car, i love them. Any tips on first customer? I need to save up anywhere form 3-7k, preferably higher end of the spectrum so I can get my tints and exhaust done. But that’s for later, first i need a car lol.

Yo! I just got accepted for jr ff program at the local volly station. Been wanted to be a ff since i was like 2 or 3 y/o. I’m supposed to get my gear and start responding to calls next week. All i was told was im allowed to respond to calls and help the driver of the rig, but what does that entail really? Can i catch hydrants? Charge Lines? Can I HIHFTY? I know i’m not allowed to go interior but can I spray the home from the outside?

I have cystic fibrosis ( less sever mutation ) and somehow decided wrestlings a good idea. I started in freshman year. no one really has liked me since i started for wtvr reason. prob bc i was weird and anti social asf in middleschool so that carried to highschool. but anyways, 1st year i lost 2 times both pinned first period. won once because the guy got injured when i sprawled. sophomore i didn’t play at all, i missed a lotta days and coach thought i was skipping for fun but it was bc i get sick easy due to CF so i missed lots of schooldays in general. now it’s august school starts in a month, season in a 2-3, and pre season in 1.5-2. im weak, scrawny, slow, and and bad cardio endurance also bc of CF. what can i do to improve? for reasons i dont wanna get int, i cant go to off season practices my school hosts. today i decided to get in the garage for an hour and spam jumpropinf, pushups, sit ups, explosive runs. i got a nice sweat. real nice. could this help? if not, what will? how do i gain the respect of the team? how do i actually win a mf match fair and square than season. btw i’m the easy target at practice, meaning anyone who goes wit me demolishes me. including good wrestling below my weight. please help, i really want to succeed and stop the bullying.

I live in sayreville nj, i’ve caught maybe 20-30 bass and started last year. i mainly fish my neighborhood pond and farrington lake. so yeah im pretty friggin bad lmao. i wanna catch a smallmouth bass because they’re very pretty and i heard they fight hard. I was hoping for a typical clear water creek where you see the fish, nice scenery too. Any spots? Also what should i throw? I have trout magnets, rout magnet hellgramites, and finnese trd pink. i have some largie tackle but thats what i have that i assume would work for smallies. Theresa spot to fish the raritan river in my town, look it up. Please help i really wanna catch my first smallie this weekend!!

I took apart my shimano curado 201k to fix the worm gear because it jammed a little sometimes. I put it back together now the spool just spins free. Any ideas? I’m very handy, but i also suck at diagnosing shit and misplace shit. Any possible solutions i could try to do?

I’ve been on the hs wrestling team for 2 years. I’m probably the worst one on the team, mainly because i have a genetic disorder that makes respiratory issues. Since the day I joined i got bullied, and i skipped the banquets because of that. Whenever i talked in the gc someone would talk shit, i got kicked a while ago and usually when you ask someone they’ll add you back but i purposefully haven’t asked to be added back. in practice a person we’ll call Noah always shit talks me and in the weight room threw a solid basketball sized weight ball at my back. that shit hurt like hell. same person and a few others wouldn’t let me sign the pep rally wrestling poster either. i don’t want to report it because that’s only going to make matters worse for me. how do i stop this so I can focus on getting better in my junior year of HS wrestling ?

I’ve been riding a ssr 125(maybe 110 idk ) 4 strke for 6 years, since i was 10. It’s time for an upgrade. Is going to a 2 stroke too much power as they say? What’s a powerband? Kx65 or KLX110? I don’t do motocross, i only ride neighborhood roads and some main roads across town. Id like to do some offroaidng in town but the ssr is too jnderpored for it. Also how hard is it to work on 2 strikes? I do all the mechanical shit myself and my dad helps if needed. Any other advice would be nice. My budget is 0$. I want to trade my 92 S10 ( needs a clutch plate ) for the bike, money is really really tight so i can’t put any money towards it?

i suck at trout fishing and i’m in a few months long skunk. i’ve went day of stocking, day after, and days of the week of. i’ve only caught 1 trout all season. is there any chance i can catch a trout tomorrow at lawrence brook? i know the 2 bridges they stock them at so i usually fish there. however they last stocked them last wednesday and im going in saturday, thats a whole week and a few days. would there be any trout left? if so would they be around that stocking area still or probably left down/upstream right?

What’s up guys. I caught only one trout ever and been skunked since, so i’m quite desperate for a trout. I emailed NJF&W and they told me the exact 2 bridges they stock the trout at lawrence brook. Do you guys have an idea what time they stock them? On Wednesday I have no school but i got a doc appointment at 2 and they stock em there Wednesday. If I leave to fish at 9 ( prob get there near 10 and leave at 12 or 1 ) do you think I’ll be able to catch the trout truck or will they have stocked already? And will the bite be on then or do they not bite well day of stocking? I mean it’d make sense they’re shocked from being transported. I plan on using live worms on a bobber first, then i’ll try a panther martin, and if all else fails I’ll try power-bait on a carolina rig. id appreciate any tips 🙏

is molders fishing reserve good? i know they have a pond with trout and im DYING to catch a trout, caught my first one this year and been skunked since.

I haven’t been able to ride my bike for a few weeks now, the chain kept slipping off and i got tired of fixing it every day and walking it home every ride. It starts fine and idles fine but when i put it in gear legit like 2 sec later the chain slipped off and i have to put it back on and do the same cycle. The tension is good when i check before riding. Sprockets don’t seem too worn. I tried loctite on the axle nut and shi but nothing works.

i’m desperate for a trout. i’m 16 and i’ve only caught 1 trout ever, even that was by luck. I threw a mepps aglia 2 in Roosevelt Park pond/lake and caught one. Never caught another despite going there freshly stocked days numerous times. I was thinking about heading to Lawrence Brook. Any tips on where along the bank to go? I know the first day or two the stockies stay close to where they’re stocked, so any ideas where the stock them? Btw i’m close to milltown if yk any places on that side of the brook. Stocking report says 400 are scheduled to be stocked tomorrow, i’ll go afterschool at like 3 ish. Trout magnet on a slip bobber rig on one rod and a mepps aglia on another rod. Is that a good setup? I’m just really desperate now for a trout lol they’re dang good eating. Are there any other confident baits i should bring? I have everything for a carolina powerboat rig but it never worked for me and it’s a hassle so i’m not going to tie that on until like 3 hours pass w/ no fish.
