What is Lady Gaga's most timeless song and most dated song?

From the top of my head I would say Bad Romance which I know is probably an overrated answer but the fact that a song that came out 16 years ago but still gives us chills only from listening the opening note really says a lot. At a time where electropop was the thing everyone was doing, this operatic sounding song came along and could not have been done by anyone else but Gaga and still be listened to over again to this day.

For dated song I would go with Starstruck. I know some of you love it and it holds a special place in my heart but even I have to admit that the production, melody and feature makes it sound very of its time, it definitely doesn't mean it's a bad song but sometimes I feel like her record label wanted her to have this specific song.

The Oldest and Youngest actor to be nominated each year in the 2020s so far.

-I thought it would be fun to do a list like this but for this decade so far and I am open to hear some thoughts.

-If this gets enough traction I might make another one for the 2010s and much prior.

-I have of course listed the ages these actors were at the time of their nomination and I will be counting winners.

-Also the reason I listed Amy Madigan's birth year is because her and Stellan Skarsgård are currently the same age but Amy was born a year prior. Basically it was to avoid confusion.

2021

Anthony Hopkins for The Father (Winner) - 83 years old

Maria Bakalova for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm - 24 years old

2022

Judi Dench for Belfast - 87 years old

Kodi Smit-Mcphee for The Power of the Dog - 25 years old

2023

Judd Hirsch for The Fablemens - 87 years old

Paul Mescal for Aftersun - 26 years old

2024

Robert De Niro for Killers of the Flower Moon - 80 years old

Danielle Brooks for The Color Purple - 34 years old

2025

Isabella Rossellini for Conclave - 72 years old

Mikey Madison for Anora (Winner) - 25 years old

2026

Amy Madigan for Weapons (Winner) - 75 years old (b. 1950)

Elle Fanning for Sentimental Value - 27 years old

What artists have the same songs but in different fonts?

An example I can think of it Britney Spears' songs ...Baby One More Time and Oops!...I Did It Again. These songs sound almost identical but slightly altered and even though they are about different things, you often see people confusing one for the other. Sure, it makes sense why that would happen since they have the same songwriter but I find this little phenomenal fascinating and would like to hear other examples of this.

Where do you see Leonardo DiCaprio's career going for the next 10 years?

In my opinion, I think Leo will lean in to working with more well-respected directors and even take a chance on younger ones. I also feel like he might be more selective in his acting roles and maybe even take a hiatus to focus on his personal life. Speaking of which, I have a feeling he might actually get married to Vittoria during this decade and maybe even start a family, I'm mostly going with this idea because his recent and upcoming roles (One Battle After Another and What Happens at Night) are paternal related and I believe maybe this has to do with what's going on with his life. Is it far-fetched? Sure. But it doesn't hurt to share a little theory and look back on it many years from now.

Just saw Moonwalker for the first time and here are my initial thoughts

If I had to describe this movie in one sentence I would say "messy but in the best way possible."

I find it funny that people say that the Michael movie is basically "greatest hits album: the movie" when Moonwalker fits the title better except it also felt like a commercial for Bad.

Something I find funny was that MJ was basically aura farming throughout WHOLE movie, like he knew he was the shit back then and lowkey I would do the same if I were that famous.😂 🤣

Even though I did find it entertaining it winded up feeling like a bunch of music videos poorly stitched together, and obviously MJ is the king at that but it comes a point where it gets tiring.

Honestly Bad could've worked as a visual album and I feel like this movie would've been a bit better if all of the music videos were actually connected. Obviously I know each song has its own meaning and I know it's supposed to be an anthology movie but it definitely would've benefited from a clear narrative.

The only time where I think it actually works is for the Smooth Criminal music video which I don't even have to describe why it's a masterpiece, and the given context made it more fascinating.

But let me tell y'all, literally NOTHING could've prepared me for the Smooth Criminal section. I knew this was gonna be unhinged seeing Joe Pesci play a villain with an ugly-ass hairstyle and seeing MJ turn into a car but I NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD'VE THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA TURN INTO A FREAKING TRANSFORMER 🤣🤣🤣 (Surprisingly the CGI was good for its time) and then he becomes a spaceship and flies away. I can't even write that with a straight face. (Genuinely, what was the thought process for that?)

Overall, I don't know how much MJ himself was involved in this movie, it's pretty clear he was a better storyteller for his music than for a full length film. The music videos by themselves are obviously incredible but without a clear story there wasn't really anything to grasp on to and the only truly memorable moments for me was the Bad music video but with kids and the entirety of the entirety of the Smooth Criminal section. (Which honestly could've been a music video in it of itself) So yeah, even though it was all over the place, it was still kinda fun.

Anyways, those are my thoughts.

What are yours?

Songs with good messages that were terribly executed

Even though this could go to any body positivity song (All About That Bass, Scars to Your Beautiful, Etc.) An example I would go with is American Life by Madonna which yes, is tone-deaf and a mess of a song but it did have a message that was better exemplified in the original music video on the critique of fame and the American Dream.

What are the worst types of Music Videos?

I would personally go with the ones that just show the tour footage because it to me it comes across as lazy and last minute thing. It's especially frustrating when it's paired with a good song that could've had a memorable visual and it makes the single just feel like a track from the album.

What do you think was the exact moment actors earned their Oscar nominations?

A while ago I asked a similar question but with winners but I thought it would be fun to do specifically non-winners because there are many well earned acting nominations. For me, I would have to go with Wunmi Mosaku for the entirety of Annie's introduction in Sinners. I have never been so enthralled by a character in their first scene as much as Annie and her chemistry with Smoke was through the roof! Although I agree Amy Madigan deserved that win, I definitely think that Wumni was so close.

Edit: I want to make it clear that I'm asking for nominations where the actors didn't win because I already posted one for the winners.

What personal headcannondo you have on Leonardo DiCaprio

I personally believe that in spite of his controversies (his dating history, affiliation with Jeff Bezos, etc.) He is a good person underneath but he doesn't really know how to express it. I also believe that because he has gotten so uses to playing characters he sometimes forgets who he is as a person which might explain why he's so introverted in interviews.

Why are the Razzies so against singers?

I ask this because there seems to be a pattern for the Razzies when it comes to artists trying to break into the acting scene. We all know that Madonna has been nominated multiple times and won 9 through her years of acting but there's also the fact that they easily nominated singers who tried to act for the first time. For example, Whitney Houston for The Bodyguard and Britney Spears for Crossroads (which she also won). I'm defending all their performances, nor and I saying that famous singers haven't given a bad performance but the fact that they have been given many nominations through makes me think that the Razzies have something against singers trying to act. Even recently, with Lady Gaga receiving a Razzie nomination for Joker: Folie à Deux and FKA Twigs receiving one for The Crow, which to me shows that just because a singer was in one lackluster film they immediately get nomination. The weirdest part is that this isn't even out of the ordinary because there are multiple examples of singers who were nominated for acting Oscar's and even won (Ex. Cher in Moonstruck)

Mine is Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick Dalton from Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

Don't get me wrong, obviously I thought Leo was good in the role when I first saw it but when I found out he was nominated for best actor I didn't understand why because at the time I didn't think he did much.

But the more I revisited this film the more I realized he was more than good, he was incredible. Not only was he able to pull off being a completely different actor so effortlessly but he also managed to feel like one from the 60s.

It's also the little details like the stuttering and as a plus, he was pretty funny.

I wanted to know if anyone experienced something similar like this.
