How did Lady Gaga manage to keep her dating life private?

Disclaimer: I am NOT trying to pin celebrities against eachother, I'm just asking out of curiosity.

One thing that impresses me about Gaga is that even though she one of the most famous female artists of today, she managed to keep her love life relatively low from the public eye.

Sure, fans know that she's engaged to Michael and there'll always be paparazzi photos of their outings but when it comes to her, it works a little different.

When there's gossip about the average celebrity it's usally about their relationships but when there's gossip about Gaga, her relationships aren't the main focal point, it usually isn't the first thought that goes through someone's head.

Even though you could argue that maybe it's because she's with a non-celebrity, I don't see that being the case since there are many examples of celebrities who date a non-famous person and still get media coverage of it.

I also wouldn't argue that she just doesn't talk about him since she happily talks about Michael in interviews.

I wouldn't say she's the most private celebrity ever, I believe that she could have a secret wedding and nobody, not even Little Monsters, could know about it.

My cousin tries guessing the names of Lady Gaga's albums

Even though my cousin has heard Gaga's famous songs, he doesn't really know anything else about her so I thought it would to be fun to show him the artwork of her solo albums without the titles he tries to guess them based on what he sees.

So please don't be so harsh on him.

The Fame = The One

(He figured "The" might be in the title but that's just it)

The Fame Monster = Darkness

(I showed him the leather jacket ver.)

Born This Way = Happy This Way

(I showed him motorcycle ver. He actually has seen that album cover somewhere before but he couldn't remember the actual title)

ARTPOP = Agriculture

(Idk man)

Joanne = Juliette

(I may have given him a hint that it had her name on it but he doesn't even know her full name)

Chromatica = Cope

(Sure, okay)

Mayhem = Madness

(I'm actually surprised how close he got this one)

Will Jaafar be able to transition back into Michael after his new role?

In case you didn't know, Jaafar will be part of a new film and after he's done with it he will go reprise his role as mj in part 2 (and possibly 3) but I wonder if this will affect his performance since it's such a gap.

Let me make this clear, I'm not implying that Jaafar isn't allowed to pursue other projects, in fact, I'm excited to see what acting roles he'll take next.

And I'm certainly not implying he isn't a good enough actor to pull it off.

I'm questioning this because he spent years practing to perfect the role and it ended paying off, but for the second time around he will just immediately hop back into practice and Michael 2 will reportedly be released in either 2027 or 2028.

I guess for now we'll just have to wait and see but I know Jaafar will still be committed.

Was actual audio of the Pepsi incident used in Michael?

I read somewhere that Michael's actual screams were in used in the scene where they recreated his hair catching on fire while filming the commercial.

I'm of course hesitant to believe this and I just want to hear the truth.

What's the least complex role that earned an Oscar nomination/win?

I don't specifically mean bad Oscar nominations/wins, just characters that are pretty simple and probably didn't take that much for the actor to play them.

Favorite line from Michael?

Mine's would have to be a tie between:

"I was thinking about framing this"

and

"I have to receive these ideas, or God might give them to Prince"

Do you think Michael ever had that one song he was tired of performing?

I don't mean a song of his that he hated performing but a song that after performing it live multiple times, he eventually grew tired of

I'm not asking in a judgemental way, I kinda get it and it happens to many artists.

What is your favorite shot from Obsession?

The cinematography in this movie is so simple yet so incredible for a film that doesn't have that big of a budget, not to mention as a directorial debut too.

I love this shot because it feels so eerie just looking at it, with the way the light reflects off Nikki's eyes and even though it's supposed to be shot in mostly the dark, it is done so in a unique way where we can still see the person. (There are many shots like this but this one stood out to me the out the most)

Tell me some DEEP facts about Lady Gaga, and I don't mean "She got her stage name from the Queen song"

Need some advice as a young fan

So, I would say I've been a fan for about three and a-half years.

I've listened to his famous singles and tracks over and over again but the thing is..... I haven't listened to his entire discography or an entire album as a whole.

Here's where it gets tricky for me. Even though I am able to just listen to it online, I have this feeling that I shouldn't do it and that I should just buy the albums themselves.

To be fair, I do have a CD player and I collect CDs.

I am planning on buying Thriller to listen to it for the first time.

But what about the rest? I want to listen to his entire discography but for some reason I might feel guilt for the way I approach it.

I have this problem with other artists I enjoy but this one particular is a bit difficult because it's MICHAEL JACKSON, his music should be an experience.

I know I'm overthinking it, but I just want to hear the best way to deal with this.

Aside from Jaafar, who was your second favorite performance?

I feel like Juliano Valdi doesn't get enough credit for his role as young Michael. I mean, there's a reason he got the part for his feature film debut.

Even though he doesn't have that much screentime he managed to capture our hearts, he played young Michael's innocence and personality pretty well, and he definitely did well dramatically, which made those scenes where he gets hurt more heartbreaking.

He was also a natural when it came to the performances and the fact that he even got to sing too shows that he's full of talent.

But my favorite aspect of this is that he was more focused on showing Michael as a little kid instead of a performer because that's what he was during that era.

Jaafar of course was the standout performance in this film for good reasons but I also appreciated Juliano's and you can tell you put a lot of work in.

How would you have reacted if Lady Gaga ended up winning Best Actress for A Star Is Born?

u/Temporary_Cap5927 — 16 days ago

What would've made Michael a complete failure for you?

While most of us can agree that while Michael isn't a perfect movie and has its flaws, it still has many things we can appreciate about it.

Now I'm curious, what direction would this film have gone through to make it a mess? At least in your eyes?

To me, it ultimately comes down to two things. First, it's the the casting of Michael himself. If the role was was absolutely miscast or if Jaafar only focused on doing an impersonation instead of making mj feel as human as possible it probably wouldn't have been that great of a film experience.

The second thing is the end where it says "His story continues....." if they had just left that one text out and not acknowledge his later life, it would've been disappointing.

Here's an idea I thought of for Part 2

Okay, just let me cook for a second........

What if towards Michael's later years and near the ending there's a scene where he's hanging out with his extended family, specifically his nieces and nephews and we see that he's hanging out with..... a young Jaafar. 🤯

Just think about it, It could possibly be the most epic full circle moment! seeing Jaafar as Michael having an interaction with a child version of himself and I'm imagine the music swells as it focuses on little Jaafar's face, as if it's trying to say "Little did he was gonna play the King of Pop, who happens to be his uncle" and the audience immediately gets this reference.

I haven't figured out what they could be doing just yet, it would be cool if they recreated that story Jaafar told of his uncle on Jimmy Kimmel.

But anyways, that's my pitch, I really think they should do something at least similar as a thank you to Jaafar and the hardwork he put he put into playing Michael Jackson

P.S: I'm totally gonna be bragging about it if my prediction comes true.
