Venetian style town building

I was aiming for a Venetian style of Architecture when I built this but I'm not sure how close to the mark I ended up being. It's a proof of concept for a town I want to build for a geopol server I play on, and I wanted to showcase it :D

EDIT: Forgot to say this when i posted, but if anyone has any examples of towns in this style in minecraft, i'd love to see them, I'm looking for inspiration atm

Some cool ideas for walls / towers!

Built these for a castle I was making a while back that I never ended up finishing. I hope someone ends up using them.

If anyone does end up using them, I'd love to see them, so please tag me or send a picture in here or something like that.

Question about cratons?

What are the above ground large scale visible signs of a craton? What effect does the presence of a craton have on topography, biomes, and other geological and geographical processes or structures?

Thoughts?

Made with a combination of Inkarnate and Paint.net

(The grey areas without names are bandit territory and the overlapping bits are contested territory)

Any thoughts regarding scale or placement / shape of nations is appreciated. I'm considering making this landmass be about 80% of the size of Eurasia. Thoughts anyone? Any other constructive criticism is welcome aswell on other topics.

Before anyone comments on the river starting in the middle of nowhere in the desert, it's magical :P

Edit: forgot to mention that this is a combination of 2 continents and a subcontinent of the world of solaxis (placeholder name). It's a medieval fantasy world with other races such as dwarves and elves, and it includes magic. (Pretty typical high fantasy)

I haven't made the magic system yet, but I'm probably going to attempt to come up with some unique.

The project isn't for anything in particular, just my personal hobby. Might make a ttrpg campaign out of it once it's done if I can be bothered.

EDIT: I made an edited map based on some of the criticisms. It'll be somewhere in the comments because I can't figure out how to attach it here.

Changelog:

  • Added some rivers and played with some borders to make more of them be on rivers.
  • Renamed "The Sultanate of Azrekar" to "The Azrekar Arcanate" (Idea being that it's ruled by a monarch who is a mage and has a completely different culture (Likely not middle eastern or Arabic) )
  • Added some islands
  • Moved the Kyori Shogunate to an archipelago (evolution of unique culture more easily explainable - i like the name so i'm not getting rid of them unfortunately, just moving them)
  • Replaced the old Kyori Shogunate with the Kingdom of Erovia
  • Replaced the Dorcanan Scourge peninsula area with a new Hanseatic league inspired nation called the Arakanian League
  • Made the People's republic of Daelyria into a kingdom instead of a socialist state.

Looking for teammates who can build / are willing to learn.

Looking for teammates who can help my team on MC Bloodlines (https://discord.gg/2TWH4fbKsu) build a roman city. I need people to help build houses in this style.

I'm willing to teach people if they're willing to learn and are relatively decent at copying. Must be willing to use axiom / world edit / litematica / build in creative first.

If you want to join the team but not build, that's OK aswell as long as you are an active player who grinds or pvps or anything of the sort.

What ELO would the bots be?

If you put all of the official bots (Pushover through chosen) into ranked, what do yall reckon their ELOs / ranks would be?

[TITLE] Anyone know any freeform magic systems?

I came across this term like 2 days ago so i'm just gonna define what i mean rq: Where a magic system doesnt box the users into specific spells. An example would be avatar the last airbender.

Anyone know if there are any manwha / webtoons out there with good freeform magic systems?

(Other than Return of the Runebound professor)

Looking for a cool magic system.

Not an experienced progression fantasy/ litRPG reader (I've only read the Runebound Professor)

Looking for the best webnovels that have magic systems that leave room for the characters to be creative or unique. (For example runebound professors rune combination system and magic that isn't just basic elemental magic)

(It would also be preferable if it abided by it's own rules and wasn't just BS. Quite like applications of physics or other science in magic aswell)
