I was approved for full financial aid for the Fall. I registered for two classes for first 8 weeks, then a day or two later I got a message saying my award has been revised and it became half for half time.
Then a couple days later I just registered for 2 more courses for 2nd 8 weeks fall but didnt get the notification its revised and its still showing financial aid 1/2 for fall.
Is it gonna update on its own? Anyone know?

It's arguably the best laptop cooler in the world right now and is a league above llano V12 Ultra in terms of cooling and fan noise.
Controller: Currently using an easysmx 05, don't really feel the need to upgrade though the battery is a bit lesser than I would like. Other than that it's perfect.
Mouse: Attack shark X11
The game is 007: First light
Phone used: iPhone 17 Pro

Helios Neo 16S AI
My CPU temps are great; I use my laptop on performance/turbo mode most of the time and it hovers around 78-80C while gaming.
However, my 5070 Ti temps are higher at around 84-85C while gaming and can hit its throttle limit sometimes. This is after repasting btw it did not seem to make a difference compared to the stock factory paste.
It's a bit concerning to me as every YouTube video I have seen of this laptop, the GPU temps are in the low to mid 70s. The fans are clean, its a brand new laptop less than a month old and ambient temps are 26C in my room.
For now I am using it with the back elevated a bit and it helps by dropping a few degrees and keeps it from throttling.
Sold my fat neo 16 for this one and managed to save some money in the process.
Man the OLED blows me away every time I boot it up and I keep thinking "why didn't I go with this one in the first place?". Well in the end it worked out for me.
Don't get me wrong the fat Neo was amazing as well and a total powerhouse. It had the best IPS display I have ever seen PERIOD. But I know OLED is just completely another category, I'm convinced this is how games and media are meant to be enjoyed.
Sure, I've taken a slight hit to performance. However the cooling actually seems better, the fans are quieter even at turbo mode though I mostly play at performance and the battery life is pretty much the same for me. I can squeeze 5-6 hours out of this bad boy with ease. On top of that I got a slimmer and lighter machine.
I have two thoughts at the moment if someone can comment on:
I went with my dad to help him deposit cash into his account
First off the cashier didnt even know there was a limit so I mentioned theres a 500$ limit at most stores, how much is it here at krogers? She had no clue so she called someone to ask and they said yeah its 500
My dad deposited 500 into his account, he initially planned to deposit a 1000 but since he used his limit I took the remaining 500 from him and asked the cashier to put it in my own separate account
She said okay, then when I pulled up the barcode on my account she said 500 is the limit and you can go do it at some other store
I was like what? My dad used his limit, I didnt use mine?? And I mentioned again its a separate account then she said 500 is the limit and started ignoring us and talking to another customer
I didnt wanna continue arguing so we left, did I miss something?
So I got the non-s version 2 months ago and it's been amazing, played and completed a lot of games on it.
But now I'm bored and thinking of switching to the 16S version which is lighter and has an OLED display, I'll also be saving 200 USD in the process.
Yes I know I am sacrificing a lil bit of power but honestly that's the only minor drawback I see.
Should I go for it, also if anyone happens to have another suggestion as to which laptop I should buy apart from Acer 16S for the best price, please share! (1500 USD budget) Although I dont think there is a better deal than this

My issue is that my laptop (Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI NON-S version / PHN16-73) does not have the option to automatically switch the refresh rate if I plug or unplug my laptop from 240Hz to 60 and vice versa.
I do not have the option "Display Energy Saver" as other user's with my laptop model do. Now, I USED to have this option but then it just disappeared!
I have to go into settings and change the refresh rate manually every time I wanna save battery when I unplug.
Things I have tried:
-Reinstalling windows thrice, using different versions of Windows 11 each time (Home, Pro, LTSC)
-Installing all drivers from Acer website then installing all updates then Predator Sense, also installing Predator Sense first then
-Reinstalling Predator Sense multiple times as well as the only different version for my model.
I keep getting this error message when trying to checkout and I have talked to support multiple times and they keep telling me to wait 24 hours each time. I have no idea what is going on.
