Imagine paying even a single cent only to pull a Boruto card.

You open the pack. You feel the excitement. Maybe you get something rare. Maybe something actually cool from Naruto.

And then you see it.

Boruto.

Absolutely devastating. Money wasted. Dreams shattered. Pack ruined.

I haven't heard a single person say that they actually like the character or the show. Why did they even include Boruto in the Naruto TCG?

Hypothetically, if someone wanted their Microsoft Teams status to remain “Online” while they weren’t actually at their computer, there may be a rather simple workaround.

You could theoretically create an empty meeting with only yourself in it and join. Teams would initially mark you as Busy, but if you manually changed your status back to Online, it would apparently stay that way for as long as you remained in the meeting.

Theoretically, other people wouldn't be able to see that you're sitting in an empty meeting. As far as they can tell, you simply appear Online, and they can still call or message you normally.

Of course, this is all purely hypothetical and definitely not something anyone should actually try.

If you want Microsoft Teams to keep showing you as Online while you're away from your computer, there’s a simple trick:

1. Create a new meeting with only yourself in it.
2. Join the meeting. Your status will change to Busy.
3. Manually change your status back to Online.
4. Leave the meeting running.

As long as you remain in the meeting, Teams will keep displaying you as Online, even if you're not touching your computer.

Other people can't see that you're sitting in an empty meeting. To them, you simply appear Online, and they can still call or message you normally.

Edit: Guys... Obviously, don't put the meeting on your calendar. Just create it and join it directly.

I am very new to Warhammer, and holy smokes, there is a lot of lore. This might be the largest lore collection in fantasy.

I started playing the game Rogue Trader, and in it I learned about the Omnissiah. He seems to be some kind of "ghost in the machine." At first, I thought that was just some kind of superstition of the Mechanicus, as the character Pasqal constantly talks about him.

But for the sake of it, I tried speaking to him when the main cogitator of the voidship broke. Pasqal joined in with a binharic hymn (which I find to be an such a cool concept).

And alas, without anything else happening, the cogitator started working again. So there MUST be something to it, right?

On the wiki, I read that the Emperor, blessed be his name, is considered to be the Omnissiah.

Do you think His influence reaches all machines in through the warp, and that the prayers spoken are answered by him?

After all, we are all children of the Emperor, and the Mechanicus are children of the Omnissiah. So humanity is one, just as the Emperor and the Omnissiah want it to be.

Ich fand Pferde schon immer irgendwie komisch. Also nicht schlimm oder so, einfach… komisch.

Die Art, wie ihr Gesicht aussieht. Diese seitlichen Augen. Diese stumpfen, seltsamen Zähne in diesem komplett verrückt aussehenden Gebiss. Muskulös aussehende Wangen welche in einem runden, extrem beweglichen und lippigen Mund enden mit diesen feinen Häärchen.

Jetzt hab ich mir ein Haus gekauft und direkt nebenan ist eine Pferdewiese. Ich hab ja nicht wirklich was gegen Pferde. Aber jetzt, wo ich die Tiere aus nächster Nähe kennengelernt habe, finde ich sie eigentlich nur noch komischer.

Dieses plötzliche, extrem laute Ausatmen. Dann dieses Lippenflattern. Lautes Wiehern. Und dieses komische Starren.

Ich liebe eigentlich alle Tiere nur Pferde sind irgendwie schräg. Irgendwie mag ich das auch ein bisschen an ihnen.

Alle halten sich für super schlau, jeder denkt sich die Dummen sind immer die anderen.

Dabei ist die Realität ganz einfach: Fast 50 % von euch sind dümmer als der Durchschnitt.
Das klingt beleidigend, ist aber schlicht Statistik.

Einige von euch sind wirklich intelligent und heben sich von der Masse ab. Aber die meisten Menschen halten sich für deutlich schlauer, als sie tatsächlich sind.

Stellt euch einfach mal den absoluten Durchschnitt vor. Nicht besonders schlau, nicht besonders dumm. Einfach eine ganz normale Person genau in der Mitte.

Und jetzt macht euch klar, dass fast die Hälfte von euch dümmer ist als diese Person.

Nicht dümmer als der Dümmste im Raum. Nicht dümmer als irgendein Trottel aus dem Internet der euch diese Fakten auftischt. Einfach dümmer als der Durchschnitt.

Das Lustige ist, dass viele von euch diesen Text lesen werden und sofort denken: „Ja, stimmt. Die anderen 50 %.“

Genau das denken die anderen auch.

I miss the internet when it was just.. "us" The “nerds” who were chronically online. It was an escape from real life, as we called it. Forums and funny websites. Long talks on messengers or voice chat.

Now that everyone and their aunt has the internet at their fingertips, people just spew everything online mostly politically motivated hate.

It wasn’t always like that. Does anyone feel the same?

I have my garden lights set up so they turn on 1h after sundown and turn off 1h before sunrise. I've set them to 50% brightness and went in the settings of every lamp and set it so it turns on with the same brightness it was turned off at.
Every night they go on at 100% brightness. Seems that setting only works if you turn them on manually and not with the automation.

This is something so basic there must be a way.

I bought a house which has hue garden lights already installed, awesome!
I got the bridge and app running and have it set up so it turns on 1h after sundown and turns off 1h before sunrise.
The Problem is there is no setting for % brightness it always goes on at 100% and i have to manually turn it down.
Is there a solution to this?

Most league of legends items make sense to me. There are very obvious ones like swords, armor, charms rings and magical artefacts.
But what is a "Hydra" supposed to be?
Are they spears with very ornate tips?
