Just bought the game- what did you wish you knew when you started?

Looking for tips and tricks. I have not played much so far, only the training ground. From my experience with other VR shooters, this game seems to have more realistic and therefore more difficult aiming- I find it hard to keep my hands steady enough. Seems really fun though, cool mechanics!

Question about playerbase

Hello Forefront players!
I’ve been looking at this game, and it seems awesome. However, is it still active? Is it hard to find a full lobby?

I’m playing on quest 3 for reference.
Thanks!

Anyone else have lag issues in multiplayer games?

I’ve had my quest 3 for about two weeks now. The first week, everything was working fine. The next week, I started to have stuttering and lagging issues.

This mainly occurs in multiplayer games, and it’s not camera stuttering- it’s mainly other players. This is weird because I ran a speed test and I’m getting 600+ Mbps on the quest 3.

The issue I’m describing is occurring in standalone, to clarify. I also lag in PCVR, but I think that’s mainly just because I don’t have a dedicated router/Ethernet for it.

I stopped half-filling creeper holes when random zombie noises drove me crazy

I used to be part of the lazy group that only places blocks on the top part of creeper holes.

After I suddenly began hearing random zombie noises that drove me nuts trying to find the source of, I realized they were coming from the holes. I’ve never half-filled again since that day 😭

Best way to connect to PCVR?

I have a meta quest 3 and a gaming PC. I tried playing Roblox on standalone, and everything was extremely laggy (for example, players in the game Hands VR would stutter and lag).

So I tried connecting to PCVR using SteamVR and Steamlink which was very scuffed because there was a control panel for roblox, steamVR, and quest 3 all in my face. Once i got rid of all that though, it was still laggy with other people.

I have an RTX 5080 and 7800X3D and my goal is to play voxel destruction 2, but it seems nothing I have done so far is working. What’s the best way to connect to pc with minimal lag (mainly of other non-vr players)?

Game not updating all the way?

I’m using a quest 3, and for the past few days when trying to update vail, it stops a few gigabytes in. I tried uninstalling completely and reinstalling but hasn’t worked. Anyone have a fix?

Quest 3 lagging like crazy in Roblox VR

I just tried voxel destruction 2 (default settings) and it is very laggy. I’d expect the quest 3 to be able to run the normal settings, but even the low settings lagged a lot. Anyone else have the same problem?

Bobovr S3 Pro vs Globular Cluster CMQ3/CMQ3 V2

Hi,
Looking for advice on which of these straps to buy for my quest 3. I think I’d prefer a halo strap, and so I’ve narrowed it down to these 3 that people seem to like the best.

The s3 pro seems to be the overall most popular, although people with the cmq3 say it’s better than the s3 pro.

Then there’s also the cmq3 v2, which I’ve heard is good as well.

What do you all think? Thanks

Are there any ACTUALLY good asymmetrical VR games?

I have a meta quest 3, and was wondering if any of you guys have asymmetrical vr game recommendations (one person in vr, another on PC/mobile).

What’s the best way to use PCVR on Quest 3?

May be a stupid question to some of you, but I’m new to VR as a whole and bought a quest 3 recently. I’ve been looking to figure out how to use PCVR, and am wondering if there are any methods that have been standardized or considered to be the most reliable.

For reference, my PC uses an RTX 5080 and 7800X3D, and I’d most likely use Steam for basically everything.
