What possibilities are on the table for speeding up the J line to San Pedro?

There's a few thing I think should happen like bus only lanes on Fig to the Torrance Blvd entrance/exit as well, as well as the street running san pedro sections, with signal priority. However the tricky part is the segment of the 110 between Torrance and Harbor - relagating the left lane for only busses probably wouldn't work cause people gotta get off, and you can't add lanes because that disrupts homes/businesses around the freeway and the stations have to be redone, which also means expanding the express lanes to the end of the freeway is off the table. So I'm wondering what could be done to improve that leg of the 110 to speed up the J?

Any reason why Extended discs are such a rarity on SEB?

Usually when 1st presses/2 disc SEB albums released, the 2nd disc is almost always a non stop mix but rarely an extended mix disc (ex: 174, 177, 181, 184); are they unpopular in Japan? They don't usually seem to be as those typically can get higher asking prices compared to other albums

As the D line opens in less than 2 days, it's really sad to see the absolute hatred towards it from NIMBYs who keep saying "Beverley Hills has fallen" and the "Beverley Hills is about to be Skid Row", and how the E line ruined Santa Monica. Funnily enough, the homeless can already go wherever they want on busses that reach those areas - and busses are MUCH less protected than the trains. Regardless, the homelessness and crime problems extend WAY beyond a train reaching a certain area, the D absolutely doesn't deserve this.

Line 344 (Metro): While this does run through gardena and PV as well, Gardena should absolutely allow this to be a BRT as Artesia is a MASSIVE stroad with frequent traffic (I tried avoiding it when commuting to Dominguez). Same with Hawthorne Blvd, frequently backed up and is an absolute monstrosity of a stroad with 8 (sometimes 10) lanes. These take you to some notable points of interest: HGTC, South Bay Galleria (soon with a K south station) and Del Amo Fashion Center. I can't see PV ever allowing a BRT as let's face it, they want certain kinds of people out of PV.

Line 13 (TT): Access to Redondo Beach from HGTC along Artesia, plus not having to pay for parking is always a plus. Plus, Artesia is a monstrous stroad, and K south and SBG is accessible from here as well.

Line 4x (TT): this would be GREAT coming off the 110 express lanes from downtown and allowing for a quick way to and from HGTC to central Torrance, plus Torrance Blvd and Hawthorne Blvd are great BRT material.

What I'd want to see on these: Culver City style bus and bike lanes (SEPERATED), they really were the perfect model of street running BRT in so cal, though there could be an arguement if they should be within the median or on the sidewalks. Also, much more frequent headways, one bus every hour is so bad in every way.

Considering there's still some outcry about how public transit should be free for all, I've been thinking - what if LIFE was completely free?

I think it could work if we actually enforced fares in the first place as a code of conduct enforcement. But, those who really need the system aren't cost burdened by having to constantly pay to go to work. And on top of that, they're still having to tap, and it can be revoked at any point if they break the rules.

With the 105 and sepulveda pass portion of the 405 getting them, should there be any more express lanes that metro runs? For me, I hope they're expanded to long beach along with either just an express bus service or even better, a full on J line style BRT.

I'm thinking anything with a comically large parking lot next to a tiny transit stop (Harbor Gateway for example, though I do realize that a lot of that parking is used for Dodgers' games so - I wouldn't take it out completely, but arrange it to be more vertical (redo it so it goes either above/below ground)). It really sounds like a no brainer move, after all I think having to drive to go on transit is ridiculous, but how likely is this to happen?
