I'm gonna cut to the chase. Last night I made a post on a subreddit for a game I really love, ranting about how my (sort of niche but not really, also definitely not anymore they just came from a different game in the franchise that wasn't as popular as the game in the subreddit) favourite comfort character was coming to the game, cuz my dumbass brain was freaking out about the prospect of stinky newgens (/hj) who only found out about the game cuz it got really popular due to the release of a CERTAIN character (remember this for later!), claiming to like the character more than me, in hindsight yeah I was being dumb, but it was 2 am, I was freaking out and not really thinking straight.

I did point out in the post that I wasn't trying to be selfish and I had no problem with other people liking this character, I was just uncomfortable with potentially seeing posts of other people being extreme fans of this character, due to that CERTAIN character I mentioned before (I told you to remember, see), there's a person on tiktok who made their entire thing being the #1 fan of this CERTAIN character, even got the official VA to say they were on a tiktok. So where does this apply to my situation? I was just stupid and overthinking and worried about this situation happening again with my comfort character, making me think I'm not good enough or doing enough to prove my attachment to this character.

So, how was I being discriminated against? I was stupid enough to put a disclaimer that I was autistic, in hopes that people would understand I'm not trying to be selfish, I have an actual comforting attachment to this character, and people wouldn't attack me straight away without thinking about the reasoning behind my dumb rant. Instead, I received hate, hate, and hate!!!! People were calling me chronically online, selfish, stupid, and people said I couldn't blame my autism, when that wasn't what I was doing! I was just trying to explain my dumbass thought process!! I ended up taking down the post after so much negativity, and found sleep last night difficult :<

So yeah, I came here today to rant about my rant going downhill, safe to say my comfort character has been slightly spoiled by this experience, hopefully I see more positive people who understand I was just tired and being dumb, yeahhhhh, if you read all this, thank you!!!!

I can't even try to get a job because why bother, it will just be taken over by AI in a couple years. I can't be creative, I can't do anything because "AI will do it better" I want to go back to being a kid again, when AI wasn't a thing and I actually wanted to try. When I didn't have to worry about the world becoming a steaming pile of shit. When I thought I'd actually have a future. But those unempathetic, greedy 1% will only see me as a number, never a human, they will only put more and more money into AI rather than making the world a better place. How can people defend this? I'm so sick of AI. I'm so tired.
