The outer box is pretty beaten up. Needless to say, the outer box has no seals. The inner packets are not opened. The seller on Amazon was VerSure.
First of all, I love the game and the fact that it doesn’t hold your hand. I’m on the hardest difficulty but only have issues with the linked creatures because I’m finding it difficult to lock on to the controlling entity. But I think I made an early mistake in sticking around the first area too long. After I got the ability to leave with the APC, I continued to stay and tried to clear out every enemy. At that time, I had 7 or 8 health kits. By the time I got to the Marshes, I had none left. I’m currently getting my head handed to me by all the creatures there. I figured Jova would be a place to restock and move forward but I haven’t found anything yet.
Would you restart if you were me and head to the Marshes loaded up with health kits? Unfortunately there’s only one save in the game, so I can’t reload an old one.
She has commented on my cat finding progress throughout the game and even told me I was close to finding them all at some point. So after finding the 100th cat, I found her in Kyoto and selected the option that I wanted to report on my cat collecting efforts. All she says is, “do you speak true? Please, I would be delighted with your aid.” She’s said that before.
A bit of a letdown.
I tried upgrading my Paraceptual filter several times and then decided to reload an earlier save. At that moment, the points were deducted on every save but the upgrades are gone from even the latest save. So basically, it deducted all the points I spent but the upgrades are gone too. I’m considering starting the game over. I’m only on Chapter 2.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I’m at my wit’s end here and don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’m mainly using type-14 film because 90 does almost no damage. I thought 90 was supposed to be better? I am patient, dodge her grasps, and wait until she is up close and there are 4-5 red dots lined up in my shot but I’m just doing very little damage. When I do put the boss in a FF panic screaming state, I try to take an immediate shot and there’s usually a delay before I can. When I do get a shot off, I see a notch in her health bar, supposedly indicating it should be a massive hit to her, but it only does a fraction of the damage. Any time I get her health low, she just heals up a massive amount…and I have to start all over again…with less film.
I used my upgrade points to shorten the reload time, which was ridiculously slow. Really not sure what else I can do here. Did I miss something?
Just curious why the discrepancy. It doesn’t have to do with number of tasks completed, since in the examples above, there were 7 tasks each, but one is at Bond Level 2 and the other is at 3.
I just started the game a couple days ago…enjoying it. I’m trying to complete the Honmoku region and I just have this fugitive left. I searched for Kipp info on this Sub and there’s not anything. I went to his location and he’s not there and from what I can see online, he only spawns at night? There’s no startable mission for him that I can see, so I assume this means I have to advance the story first? I am not exactly sure what they mean by “proceed with the mission”.
I had some issues with my new M12 HD’s working inconsistently after coming out of Sleep Mode, so I decided to disconnect them for the night and reattached my factory Switch 2 joycons. Console was around 50% battery when I went to bed and I turned it OFF. When I booted it up today, I got the warning that the console battery was low and was about to go to Sleep Mode. I saw it was at 2%.
This massive overnight drain has never happened to my Switch 2 like this before.
The only thing I can think of is that I did have the rear buttons UP on both M12 HD’s, to draw battery from the console, before I disconnected them. Is it possible the Switch 2 still thought this battery draw was active when I connected back the original joycons, leading to the overnight drain? For now, I went in to the console settings and cleared all the active joycon connections, leaving only my factory Switch 2 joycons.
Has this weird overnight drain issue happened to anyone else here after using or swapping out your M12 HD’s?
I’ve asked Mobapad if I can swap my M12 HD’s for the S model instead.
These are new M12 HD joycons and I haven’t programmed any Macros…simply updated the firmware on both the L and R. I’m not sure why the left trigger icon continues to flash each time I come out of Sleep Mode or what it means. The icon does stop flashing when I press the L2 trigger but this is just puzzling. This ever happen to anyone?
I am also finding that each time I wake the Switch 2 up with the console power button, it can sometimes take 20+ seconds for the 3-button press or any buttons to be recognized with the M12 HD to advance to the Home Screen. This happens in both Wired and BT mode. Sometimes the buttons register right away, sometimes there’s the weird delay where I’m sitting there pressing the buttons and nothing happens. Not sure if this is normal or not.
I just got my M12 HD joycons. Been reading up on the two connection settings at the back (up for Wired, down for BT). In your experience so far, is there any noticeable lag or delay difference by using the BT connection, as opposed to Wired? As far as battery, apparently there’s not much of a difference between the two modes but has anyone noticed your Switch 2 noticeably draining faster when the M12 HD is in BT mode?
I’ve come to the end of P5R, where you go around saying goodbye to your friends. But it seems Ryuji and Yusuke are missing. Ryuji is apparently supposed to be at the Arcade in Shibuya but the only one there is the former cheater. Also, Yusuke is not in his normal spot in the Underground Walkway. I haven’t been able to find Haru or Makoto either.
Do you only get to say goodbye if you’ve maxxed out their Confidant levels? Seems very strange not to be able to say goodbye to members of the Phantom Thieves.

This is my first ever playthrough of Persona 5 Royal. Going into the final Mementos area with the final bosses (Holy Grail, Yaldabaoth), I had 10 Chewing Souls and every character other than Yutaba was equipped with SP3 accessory. I am finding that SP3 works with some characters but not others. For example, it does great with Joker and he almost never runs out of SP but with a character like Morgana, SP depletes rapidly and never seems to regenerate. I am running out of SP for Morgana and Makoto by the end and these two fights are incredibly draining and long. I did get healed by Lavenza before this fight too.
Also, I’m stunned that the game does not let me restock on any supplies before this area. You can’t even go back to old Mementos areas to get Chewing Souls from Jose or the random ATM’s. I figured 10 Chewing Souls + SP3 for everyone would be enough, but no. Even swapping out a depleted Morgana for Makoto isn’t enough. By the end of these fights, I’m also out of healing/revival items for the party. If I had known the game would be this crippling at the end with supplies, I’d have created Leblanc Coffee every single night and farmed 100 Chewing Souls routinely. No idea what to do now.
On iOS 26.5.1 (iOS 27 not available to me in my updates yet). Anyone ever experience this? Would this be a device issue or iOS issue? I’ve owned iPhones for years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen anything like this. It’s not just the widgets that vanished. Even the Phone and Email icons at the bottom of the screen disappeared.
Got this in the mail today from Mobapad…box says it’s the M-A20 model. That appears to be for the Chitu 2 controller. Is this compatible with the M12 HD or must I get Mobapad to send me the correct one? I don’t want to force the fit if it’s the wrong one. The Mobapad site says the SA2 is the model number for the M12 HD charging grip.
I got home a short time ago and desperate to get some sleep after a long night before my colonoscopy today. They gave me Propofol before the procedure, which of course knocked me out. I cut up about 1/5 of an Ambien (mine is safe for splitting). Is this ok? My discharge instructions didn’t say anything about no sleep aids for the next 24 hours.
*Update: I slept but kept waking up more than usual and had some crazy dreams.*
I sent them an email asking but they didn’t give me a straight answer…just said you can track it on their website (can’t track it w/o an order #). They are shipping free charging grips to those who pre-ordered the M12 HD’s under their Compensation Program because of the various issues with pre-order specs information/confusion. All I got out of them a couple weeks ago is that they expect to be done shipping all the free grips by May 31st. I’ve received no info about my grip shipping.
So, for example, the screen will say “20 minutes until 80%” but it may take 15. It’s never accurate. Also, I’m often charging from 55% or 60% to 80%, so it’s not like this is an early calculation for a long out process from 20% or anything. This is a new phone…got it about 3 weeks ago. I’ve tried recalibrating the battery by draining to zero and charging back to 100 but hasn’t helped.
Is this normal? Is the “minutes until 80%” thing just an estimation or is it supposed to be accurate?
