Are there any movies told from the perspective of the killer?

What I mean by that:

Are there movies where the main character is the killer/murderer?

Like we follow their planning and process. Their thinking, reasoning... etc...

Instead of following the cops or detectives that are always one step behind, trying to figure out who it is, never knowing who the killer is

Instead we see the killer maybe stalking or following the news on what they're doing or the cops to make sure they don't get caught

I hope that made sense lol

EDIT: Holy cow! Lol thanks for all the recommendations everyone lol

38m looking for an online foodie friend

I spend too much time rewatching food content (literally SaltFatAcidHeat is on my TV right now) and nobody to talk to about it

My regular friends and family i think are getting frustrated with the amount of reels and recipes I send them loll

I'd love to get to know anybody that enjoys food, eating, cooking, whatever lol

Hopefully after all that we can become decent friends and get to know each other more!

My DM is always open

[L] 38/M/USA Depression is hitting me at work right now

I work in a kitchen. Since I've started back in October, 3 people I really enjoy have left.

I know it's not my fault, everyone has different lives, but sometimes I guess it just feels like its me?

I moved to this area about 4 years ago to live with my girlfriend. About 2 hours away to the other side of the state. I haven't really made any friends since moving here. It's just work acquaintances.

And then all my family and friends from my original home don't really talk to me. Nobody has come to visit. I try and set things up all the time but it never falls through.

Yet I'm expected to see them every holiday.

I'm sorry. I'm just in a funk. I know I am and I want to get out of it. Like I'm mad about it lol.

I'm sorry again if this isn't the right place to post this. I've written posts other places but they always get deleted. So idk what to do.

Hopefully someone sees it

38/M/USA Wouldn't mind finding some new friends to talk to

I'm hoping to find some one to chat with. I love having conversations and getting to know people.

It'd be nice if the conversation didn't fizzle out after a few chats though, I hate that.

I love long text blocks and reading what you have to say. It gives me a lot to work with for a response.

Here's some basic interests and hobbies but I'm open to most things

I work in a kitchen. I love cooking. I'm not a "chef" per say but I feel like I've got good knowledge under my hat. I love trying things and exploring different cuisine

Music wise I tend to lean towards classic rock and metal. That's not to say i don't appreciate a good boy band here and there. And kpop. I do like kpop ha ha.

Photography and filmmaking is my first love. I love storytelling and shot composition.

I'm not a big reader, mostly because I tend to fall asleep when I do lol. And I'm much more of a visual medium person

Video games I tend to enjoying the classics like anything on the NES or SNES but I've dabbled in steam and other areas. (My current PC is FUBAR so I'm not playing anything currently)

I left things kinda vague but I promise I'm an open book. Don't be afraid now!

What three ingredients/condiments/items would you put on your ideal burger?

Pretty straight forward. If I handed you a hamburger, what 3 things would you want to put on it?

My go to items are bacon, bbq sauce and grilled onions

EDIT: Since it got asked. The burger is grilled and seasoned with salt and pepper on a bun.

Omit or edit the item to better suit your dietary needs lol but remember it's just for fun discussion 😜

Feel free to be as simple or as complex as you see fit!

How much Dragonzord footage got used?

(Reference, I'm a 38/M in the US. Been a fan since Green With Evil)

I found myself turning on episode streams on YouTube lately. Mostly background noise and nostalgia feels. The more I watched the more I noticed how much footage got used multiple times. Specifically Zord footage

Yes I know all the ins and outs of why they did this and blah blah. I always knew the footage was reused but sometimes it's just ridiculous.

I swear I've seen the same zord footage get used 3 times in one fight lol

Specifically Dragonzord though. I know Dragon Caeser and Burai were used a bit less in Japan.... but you're telling me that there wasn't more footage to use? Lol

I wonder if there's an actual time limit someone's done to show how much unique dragonzord footage got used lol

Idk

Just thought I'd throw some thoughts out there. Love talking about this stuff

What are some of your favorite stills/panels from a marvel comic?

While I'm not an avid comic reader,I am a big fan of photography and cinema.

I was just recently watching Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse and I was loving the shots they created

Which got me thinking...if the movies are THIS good...what are some of the best still or panels from the comics themselves.

I know there's a bunch. Too many for me to do any kind of research on my own.

Would love to see some of your faves out there

😁😁😁

Saw this on clearance. Knew I had rice at home

And honestly? It was very nice. This warmed up with some basmati rice was actually very pleasant. Needs a bit of salt in my opinion

Would definitely go good with some chicken too but honestly I wasn't missing it.

I love hummus but I'm not a big fan of chickpeas as they come. These are cooked very nicely and kinda melt into the same texture as the rice. So if thats a thing you look into, this might be a fun option!

1 cup of cooked rice 1 can of beans warmed up Dump on top Serve

What's the best way you've found a kpop fan in the wild?

This literally just happened to me and I had to share it with like minded individuals lmao

I'm sitting in a doctor's lobby. Girlfriend is at an appointment and I just wanted to sit in the lobby with headphones in (girlfriend was cool with this lol)

Headphones go in.

First song I play is

Adrenaline by Ateez.

Now...over the last few weeks I've been making a lot of emotional changes in my life. Feeling extremely positive and happy lately. As soon as the music starts, my head starts bobbing and my foot starts tapping. I'm not paying attention to the world.

Meanwhile people are coming in and out of the lobby. I'm not paying attention.

I'm mouthing the words to the song. I'm feeling myself.

I start involuntarily doing the choreography to the first chorus in my seat. Mind you I'm not a dancer but I know a few bits of the dance.

I make it all the way to the second chorus.

Atiny will attest to this. When the phrase "buzzing up my neck... pumping adrenaline" comes on.... we get feral.

I start doing the scratching motion on the forearm of the choreography. As I'm doing the scratch...I look across the room...

I see two young ladies sitting across the room...staring directly at me... doing the same scratch motion across their forearms. My eyes went big and my jaw dropped. We all started dancing and singing it... not loud because it's a doctor's office lmao.

I cannot tell you how big my heart felt being apart of that situation lmao

We sat and chatted for a little before we parted ways.

We all love a good video game. Obviously. But sometimes games like to throw you little side games that sometimes have no bearing on your progress.

I was just discussing with my friends about Donkey Kong Country on the SNES.

One of my favorite little mini games was running around as the rhino and the ostrich just collecting tokens and getting one ups. So silly but so fun and satisfying

I'm sure there are plenty I'm not thinking about, what are some of your favorites?

I was gonna say try to stay away from games like Mario Party because they're essentially one big mini game lol but if you really enjoy one or two of those, be my guest

It's getting a little difficult nowadays to want to buy a cookbook for myself, mostly because I find myself just saying "I can just use the internet for suggestions"

Ive always been a fan of the sciencey/nerdy books though

Ones that give you actual information about the meal or the prep, the equipment, etc etc.

(Praise be to Alton Brown)

I'm aware of Kenji and a couple others but I'm hoping to find something on the road less traveled.

Something that people use but I might look over at the book store.

If you need more info I will do my best 👌
