Looking for a mod that tweaks companions/followers to stop them basically trying to climb inside you, to give you a bit of space, and not be walking in front of you every time you try to shoot? Trying to find one that might work with Fallout London (FOLON)

I'm playing Fallout London at the moment and absolutely loving it... except for the usual Fallout 4 issues. Such as companions constantly trying to push themselves inside your character to get as close as possible, and every time you aim, they want to look down the barrel of your gun!

My understanding is that a lot of mods that tweak companions will make individual changes to each vanilla companion, which obviously is not going to work with Fallout London. But other mods that tweak companions are more of a blanket fix, affecting all companions, whether vanilla or modded.

I'm looking for the latter so it might work with Fallout London, but upon searching, I didn't realise just how many hundreds/thousands of companion mods there are.
So I'm hoping for a few recommendations of ones that are known to be good and working correctly, please?

[FO4] In FO4Edit, which parameter effects a weapon's ADS/return to center speed after chambering a round, please?

I'm trying to create a patch for a weapon, but I can't figure out which parameter it is, so I need a little help, please.

It's a bolt-action pistol (Welrod) that seems to have an insanely slow return to center speed after firing a shot and chambering the next round. It's so slow that the first few shots, I thought it had that legendary Deadeye effect that slows down time when you ADS.

The animation plays to chamber the next round, and when it finishes, the gun is lowered to the side in hipfire stance, but then it's almost like the gun goes into slow-mo as it returns to center/ADS.

I thought it would be one of these parameters, but they didn't affect the animation I wanted.

  • Animation attack seconds
  • Animation fire seconds
  • Animation reload seconds
  • Sighted transition seconds

[FO4] How could I test if a mod that lets you scrap something that wasn't scrappable before effects/breaks precombines?

I'm playing Fallout London (FOLON), and at one of the settlements, there is an annoying light fixture that isn't scrappable all the way through the settlement. There's a mod that allows you to scrap them, but from my understanding, something like this if it's not done correctly, will break precombines.

So I wondered how I could tell. Is there some way to check using the console or FO4Edit, or something else?

[Fo4] I used "Disable" and the "MarkForDelete" on some corpses in a settlement that hadn't despawned after nearly 200hrs. When I load any save after that, I instantly CTD! What did I do wrong?

I had about a dozen raider and attack dog corpses in and around a settlement that hadn't despawned after almost 200 hours, even when I've left the cell for multiple in-game days.

So I opened the console, clicked on the corpses so it selected them, I made 100% sure not to click on anything else, as I know it can break sh!t.
I typed Disable and when the corpse disappeared, typed MarkForDelete.

After saving and reloading, I instantly CTD every time!

I can rollback to a save before deleting the corpses, that isn't a problem, but I want to understand what happened, as I thought that was the correct and safest way to remove corpses.
Was I incorrect? Is there a better way to do it, or is there no safe way?
