Have you survived a migration from platform to platform?

I am doing market research and I am looking for people who can spare 10 to 15 mins of their time to answer a few questions. This is about people who have been involved in the migration of workflows from one platform to the next. So, make to n8n or zapier to n8n.

Anyone out there who can help?

Has anyone had to move their automations?

Does anyone out there have experience migrating from one automation platform to a different one? Meaning moving your automations from Make.com to n8n or Zapier to n8n?

If so, I am wondering how the process went. Let me know.

Starting a Team

I saw someone make a post like this a while back, and the idea stuck with me, so I figured I'd throw my own version out there.

I want to put together a small team of 2–4 people in the US or Canada and see what we can build.

I'm not looking for employees, and I'm not looking for people to work on my idea. I want to find a few ambitious people who actually want to build something together.

The biggest thing I'm looking for is reliability. I've worked with enough people who are excited for a week, miss meetings, stop responding, or slowly disappear when things get difficult. I'm looking for the opposite of that. Be present.

You don't have to know everything. I definitely don't. But if you say you're going to do something, do it. If we schedule a meeting, show up, or send a message. If something isn't working, say it. If an idea fails, we figure out why, kill it, and move on to the next one.

I'd especially like someone on the team who genuinely enjoys the people/business side of things — networking, talking to potential customers, marketing, finding funding opportunities, partnerships, etc. Not just someone willing to make a few calls, but someone who understands what we're building well enough to actually sell the vision.

I'm more on the technical/product side. I like finding problems, researching markets, building things, experimenting with AI, connecting it to programs, and figuring out whether an idea actually has legs.

I already have three pain points/business opportunities I've been researching that we could start with. But I'm not married to any of them. If somebody joins with something better, we'll investigate that too.

I also already have a business entity we could potentially operate under, although I'm completely open to creating something new. If we actually decide to build together, we'd put a real agreement in place so ownership, responsibilities, expectations, and what happens if somebody leaves are clear from the beginning.

I'm not expecting us to magically build a unicorn.

Maybe the first thing works. Maybe it completely bombs.

What I want is a group where, if it bombs, nobody disappears. We sit down, figure out what we learned, and build the next thing.

Basically, I'm looking for a few people who want to create the kind of team where everyone pushes each other to keep going.

No guru stuff. No "10x founder" nonsense. Just a few ambitious people who want to build something real and are willing to consistently put the work in.

If that sounds like you, send me a message. Tell me what you're good at, what you've worked on before, what you'd want to contribute, and what you're hoping to get out of something like this.

Looking for a few people who deal with payroll import files

Hey everyone — I’m building a small tool called Payroll File Doctor, and I’m looking for a few people who regularly work with payroll import files to try it once it’s ready.

The basic idea is pretty simple: you upload a payroll file before importing it, and the tool checks it for formatting or data problems that could cause the import to fail or create a bunch of cleanup work.

I’m starting with ADP RUN import files and plan to expand from there.

This is still early, so right now I’m mainly trying to find people who actually deal with these files in the real world and would be willing to test it and tell me what works, what doesn’t, and what would actually make it useful.

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, leave a comment or DM me and I’ll add you to the early access list.

No sales pitch or commitment — I’m just looking for some real-world testers.

Looking for a Sales Co-Founder/ Founding Head of Business Development for an AI Starrup

Hi there, I'm Topher.

I'm building an AI startup focused on the next generation of agentic software and am looking for someone who wants to help build a real company from the ground up.

I'm the technical founder. My focus is designing and building the product. I'm looking for someone whose strength is sales, business development, networking, and building relationships with customers.

This isn't a typical job posting. I'm looking for someone who wants to become an early partner in the company.

What I'm looking for

Someone who can dedicate at least 20 hours per week.

Comfortable making phone calls, following up with leads, and speaking with business owners.

Strong communication skills and timely responses to emails, texts, calls, and customer inquiries.

Self-motivated and able to work without being micromanaged.

Interested in helping shape the direction of the business instead of simply working for one.

Reliable, honest, and committed. If you tend to disappear when things get difficult, this probably isn't the right fit.

We'll have a weekly strategy meeting to review progress, discuss sales opportunities, and plan the week ahead.

Compensation

This is an early-stage startup, so there isn't a salary today.

Instead, the role includes:

A commission on sales you generate.

A structured path toward earning equity and ownership in the company as we grow.

The opportunity to become a true founding member rather than joining years later.

The long-term goal is to build a company capable of attracting outside investment and scaling into something much larger. As revenue and funding grow, compensation grows with it.

About You

You don't need decades of experience or an MBA.

What matters most is that you're:

Hungry to build something meaningful.

Comfortable hearing "no" and continuing anyway.

Able to communicate professionally.

Willing to put in consistent effort every week.

Looking for a long-term opportunity rather than a quick paycheck.

Location

I'm based in North Carolina (Eastern Time, USA), but I'm open to working with someone anywhere in the U.S. If you're outside the U.S. but can reliably communicate during Eastern Time business hours, feel free to reach out as well.

If this sounds interesting, send me a DM with:

A little about yourself.

Any sales, business development, or startup experience.

Why you're interested in joining an early-stage company.

How many hours you can realistically commit each week.

I'm looking for one person who wants to help build something they're genuinely proud to own—not just another job.

I need some AI Automation Specialists

I built an AI Automation roadmap generator that builds a roadmap for AI Specialists and small business owners.

I started my AI Automation late last year and became a specialist not long after. Before, when I was just a programmer, I always had difficulty mapping out algorithms. It just wasn't my thing. And when I started automating, I noticed I had the same type of issue.

i can pretty much do what needs to be done step by step when I am in there, but the problem is explaining it to the client in a coherent way they understand. I lost some jobs because I would fumble on my words, or forget to explain steps that were necessary. I am pretty sure it had to do with my adhd, not an excuse, just a struggle.

so, I came up with an automated system that I could answer some questions and it would produce a roadmap that I could just email to my clients and then go over it with them to explain all the steps, and what is involved, in a coherent way.

well, I decided I am going to make it public and I need a few Automation specialists to try it free for a few days and throw me some feedback.

What I need you to do: go to my site, theworkflowcompass.com, sign up, and then come here and comment "I'll give it a shot" or something similar, and then give me your signup email name. or DM me and we can get your email that way. I will then go in and set your account to pro so you can use the site for three days, maybe even use it to make a few roadmap proposals for clients.

Anyone interested?

This is for peoole who need a professional edge, maybe you are just starting out, or just need a roadmap to make a plan. And also for business owners trying to get into automation and are not sure where to start. Either way, I need you! Help a fellow out please!

Please try my Game Hull Keeper

I have always wanted to make a video game and I did it. And it would mean the world to me if real players gave it a shot and gave me some honest feedback. I made everything from the art to the music and sounds. i know it is pretty silly, and the explosions are mouth sounds, but I think I did pretty good.

Game Title: Hull Keeper

Playable Link on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.topherburns.hullkeeper

it's a sci fi arcade game where you vacuum devris from a section of the hull of a space freighter. since it is an arcade game it basically just gets super hard and ends, and it is about getting a high score.

Free to play status: the game ia free to play, there are ads, but i tried to make it so the ads annoying.

Involvement: completely solo developed this, found the testers and got accepted into google. I'm kinda proud but also a little scared to put it out there. either way, tell me what you think! I appreciate all the feedback you have!

I’m looking for Android testers for my game Hull Keeper.

It’s a mobile sci-fi arcade game where you try to survive as long as possible.

I need testers for Google Play closed testing. You’ll need to:

    https://groups.google.com/g/hull-keeper-testers

  2. Opt in / install through Google Play:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.topherburns.hullkeeper

  3. Install the game

  4. Keep access during the testing period

  5. Send feedback if you notice bugs, crashes, sound issues, screen-size problems, or anything confusing

I’m especially looking for feedback on:

- installation

- touch controls

- sound/music

- screen fit

- crashes

- overall fun/confusion

I’m happy to test your Android app in return if you’re also working through Google Play closed testing.

Thanks. The Internet's Unc.
