How I won a trip to Finland

Pata hai aaj kya hua,

This is some of the best luck I've ever had, I participated in a raffle for a free trip and I wasn't lucky to get in, at the time the trip costed in the Lakhs so I wasn't in a position to afford it myself. The guy who won was unable to go and the raffle organiser who was someone I knew just offered it to me! It was the most unexpected luck

What followed was the most mesmerizing week of my life, I got to take a Luxury cruise ship from Estonia to Sweden and on to Finland.

The cruise was just the beginning of the new experiences since, soon I found myself in areas with waist deep snow, - 25°C temperatures and to places I've only studied in school

I never imagined that in junior school when I was learning about the arctic circle someday I would be standing there.

Northern lights was the most magical experience, I got to witness it for 3 exhilarating nights in a row, camping out in the middle of a frozen lake kilometers away from civilization just staring up at the bright stary sky until it's lit up bright green.

From Reindeer sledding to seeing a entire hotel made from ice. No part of this experience felt normal.

My experience in a celebrity school

Pata hai aaj kya hua,

Got good marks in 10th and was looking for new school for 11-12th, applied all over India to realistic schools. I liked the city of Mumbai so as a joke thought I'll apply to Dhirubhai Ambani International School (ranked 1 in India).

Somehow managed to get selected for test/interview stage (which itself is rare). Also passed those stages and actually got admission in the most difficult school to get into.

It was a whole new world there, everyone's bank account balance was more than my net worth, celebs and their kids were walking around the school on a daily basis.

It actually felt like a "Netflix" school in India but one where all the kids are hard working and have great grades.

It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience to be a part of that culture

How I saw 2019 CWC and had a crazy experience

In 2019 I was in Europe and was on a short holiday. I had applied for ICC ballot tickets but wasn't lucky, so I gave up and was planning something else for the days.

I came across a hospitality package and it only had a VIP ticket left but I was feeling pretty spontaneous so I went ahead and booked it.

Somehow managed to get a great flight for 1400rs (yes that cheap) it was insane and I was glad to save somewhere.

I went for India vs West Indies in Manchester and also saw Old Trafford football stadium in that time and got a pic with the trophy.

The match itself was fun, the seats and experience was incredible, I had made short plans to explore London before heading back.

Tour people asked if was interested in India vs England - Cheapest tickets available for 3Lakhs ☠️ I said no thanks and went on with my plan

Next day a friend of mine who's not even in the UK realises that I'm there, he had a spare VIP ticket available for India vs England which was 3x better than my original India vs WI ticket also.

I couldn't believe my luck, I just had to make spontaneous train bookings to Birmingham and found a friend who let me stay over at their place and that's the story of how I got to see a super iconic match (Rohit 100 and this special orange jersey which was only used once)

Even managed to purchase the jersey.

This is my pata hai aaj kya hua moment

Swimming with such iconic marine life is the ultimate flex because it represents a rare, raw connection with nature’s most majestic creatures on their terms. It’s a profound privilege to witness their prehistoric grace in an untouched ecosystem.

It was the most exhilarating experience but one I'll never forget for sure
