Hatchback power window conversion

Brand new power window regulators, wd-40 dry lube , Amazon power window wiring kit with some slight alterations for my switch locations in the armrest and removal of the third switch and good to go.

Of course the hardest bit was running the wires, almost forgot how much of a bitch it is to take fenders off.

Hatchback reman window regulators(not jdm crx)

They exist, but only in power, I've never seen these before or EVER, get them well they last!

These are true HATCHBACK SI regulators not for JDM crx.

You will need to wire these yourself , but plenty of Amazon diy kits exist or YouTube videos for the not so wire savvy.

If you ask for a tip it's an automatic no

If you do the spin say it's going to ask you a question then I'm going to rebuttal with a no.

Asking for a gratuity means you don't get one.

Simple.

Doing your basic job doesn't mean you get to ask for or get a tip.

I only tip max $5 at any restaurant on any order.

Don't care if I order a $30 meal or a $300 meal.....you get a fiver for bringing me food and a drink, even if I order something complicated....if I eat with friends i still tell everyone $2.50 max a person just because there was more than one.

Anything bigger than 3 people to me is an automatic $10 spot.

Only time I can assert any type of tip more than $5 for a single server is when that server goes above and beyond for allergy restrictions for a guest.

Edit - I tip like it's still 1995

What's everyones dream r/c car

Mine was the revo, a r/c magazine randomly showed up in my classroom during middle school in the early 90s and I saw full page ads for the gas powered revo.

My folks had gotten me a tyco and then a new bright truck as a kid so all I had for r/c fun was 15 minutes of fun then 4 hours of battery charge disappointment.

So upon seeing gas powered advertised with unlimited run time it was a child's dream and they went fast.

I have my fullsize Erevo and I'm living my r/c dream, and with lipos having so much damn runtime I get to let my inner child run wild and rip that sucker up and down the road.

What's everyone else's dream cars?

Quick and easy hub bearing removal

A lot of people here aren't comfortable with using a grinder and a lot of people really will mess up the hub trying to use a grinder when they're taking these off so it is fully recommended to just use a cheap harbor freight rotary kit which in fact is probably cheaper than the grinder and cutting disc and a million times easier to control.

Now I used the accessory kits that they also sell because it has a little large cutting disc, this makes using my big flathead screwdriver a little easier on me.

This took maybe a minute a hub with even consistent light pressure on the cutting disc, keep the RPM high so the disc can do its job and don't force it, just slowly remove material.

When you have a decent cut just get a small flathead or chisel and a few taps with small hammer or wrench😉, and it will crack.

Now most of the time they slide off fairly easily, other times you will need to pry it up with the flathead with moderate force but nothing crazy.

Pop them both off and clean and prepare your hubs for reinstall whenever you're ready.

Done this for years but just wanted to show it can be done for cheap, the Chicago electric rotary tool kit from harbor freight is less than $25.

K5 pro massive static

Have a K5 pro and in certain games or in certain things I'll just get this hugely massive static that is loud and especially when I have my headphones on is painful.

Using USB connection.

The whole reason I got this DAC was the single wire connection

So the only good fix is a separate power supply and Optical connection.

Anyone have this issue have any luck clearing it up

Took forever to source it all but its happening finally

Took me nearly 4 months of sourcing all the parts and digging through endless amounts of RockAuto pages and eBay sales but it's nearly there, waiting on a guy to ship me some DA knuckles so I can rebuild those and then completely replaced the entire brake system with all brand new parts.

Since my ef has given me nothing but reliability and hasn't stranded me once where I couldn't get it going again I got her all this nice new stuff, gotta show my appreciation for this car as it's been the most reliable thing I've ever owned.

I feel absolutely no shame in dumping nearly 2k+ in new parts for this old baby.

Suspension is almost done, brakes are on the verge , steering is next with a new rack and truhart upside down outers Which should nearly complete my refresh build for a daily that should last another 10-15 years.
