Need help with igneous composition and how it related to crystallization location

I’m in college and taking a physical geology class. I love geology and I am super comfortable with most everything we have learned, except when it comes to understanding igneous composition. We were given the above diagram in a lab and were asked to make a case for where certain igneous rocks could have formed. Things are just not connecting in my head right now and it is really confusing me on where to start.

He asked us for to provide observations about each rock and then make a case for the possible locations. I don’t think he expects one right answer, but I am struggling to make and justify any choices at all.

The rocks he gave us were as follows: granite, basalt, rhyolite tuff, and porphyritic andesite.

can someone give be possible answers and then explain how you got there? i’m very lost.

also, i have asked my teacher and i thought i understood it but i guess i didn’t. i think i need it put a different way.

Why are there so many different types of "sea" gulls?

I was bored and decided to look at different types of bird on a website I found (allaboutbirds). Then, I got to the gulls. There are so many varieties of gulls that look extremely similar to seagulls and I was curious why. They don't appear, at least at first glance, to have any features that are so distinct they would evolve separately into different species. I am sure they do have significant differences, I just wasn't sure what they were!

I am going to my first con and am unsure if this prop would be allowed

I am going to fan expo in Denver and cosplaying Bucky Barnes. I was going to buy a fake training pistol to have as a prop, but I was a bit confused about the con’s policies. I have attached a picture of both the policy from the con website, as well as an image of the prop I was looking to buy and bring.

I’m not sure what counts as a replica gun? This one is made of rubber and is the same size as the actual gun, but it has an orange tip and no hole.

I know that the security on-site has final say, but I wanted to ask if you guys thought that this would probably be okay or if I should just skip it.

I (19F) had my prolapse repaired via laparoscopic rectopexy on March 17th. My recovery went fine, but I am struggling immensely to properly evacuate myself.

It is a bit difficult to describe the sensation, but it basically feels like I am too weak to push anything out. My anus doesn’t open up at all. I am aware that straining is bad, and it doesn’t help anyway. The few brief times I have strained myself, things only move about a centimeter.

I have had to resort to manual evacuation. I know it probably isn’t good for me, but it the only thing that has worked. When I finally do get something out, It is usually everything at once. It comes out in a massive, almost spherical mass. Not that it isn’t so much fun to do, but manually evacuating myself is tiring and honestly just gross.

My waste is generally pretty normal. It is soft, but sturdy enough that it sticks together and isn’t dry or lumpy.

I have pelvic floor physical therapy scheduled, but it doesn’t start for another month, and I need a solution now.

I am hoping to get some advice on things I can do to improve my bowel movements in the short term while I build up strength. I wasn’t sure what direction to take, whether it’s diet based or taking laxatives or supplements or what not because I couldn’t find anything quite describing my specific issue.

If you went to a garden center (mine is a locally owned small business) what kind of questions would you want the staff to know the answer to? We have tons of plants, some pots, soil, shovels, trowels and other tools. I am a cashier and I am the first person people will usually see when they walk in so I want to be prepared for questions!

I honestly had no clue what this drive was because I thought I only had my storage from my new SSD that I bought when I built my new computer. However, apparently I forgot I also had my old SSD connected to this computer. It is a 476GB Crucial_CT512MX100SSD1. I have no idea what is on it, but I never had any issues with it when I was using it before, so I might as well utilize the 470 some GBs. The problem is, whenever I try and look at any of the files or anything downloaded on it, nothing shows up. It does show up in my settings and Disk Manager, and it says that I have less than a GB of storage free on it. It very well may be a back up of my old computer, I truly have no idea. Am I just missing something simple? I am not the most computer savvy, and I couldn't find a solid answer when looking it up.

I tried to look through my notes to find a similar problem or a solution, but I couldn't. Wouldn't it be 4^2? If not, why? I thought that the base of the log acted as the base for the exponent and that the exponent came from the other side of the equals sign...
