First, I made the Exveemon costume, then Birdramon, but it was a vision of a TOGEMON costume that got me started on this adventure.
But I was never really a Togemon fan. (It was actually my least favorite of the champion evolutions in the original series.)

Anyway, my “digimon dream team” includes Floramon > Sunflowmon, and so I decided to make the green costume based around my preferred champion digimon.

Keen eyes can see my yarn emergency, but I think it blends pretty well. 😅

Working my way through the official muppets pattern book by Drew Hill. Treating myself to one per week, and I just randomly draw a name out of a hat so I don’t have to choose which one to do. 😂

Animal was the first one I did out of this book. Definitely having fun!

I just randomly draw one of them out of a hat because I agonize over choosing too much. This week was Rizzo! Fun way to spend the day 😊

The other day I posted my little friend, Oswald, wearing an exveemon costume, and today I finished his Birdramon one!

These costumes have been a fun experiment! I definitely like the mascot style partial-head sewn onto the hood rather than using the hood as the head.

Amigurumi pattern designer here, and I thought I would have some fun.
Rather than crocheting digimon, I thought I would try crocheting a person wearing a digimon costume.

Treated myself to FINALLY diving into the Muppet pattern book by Drew Hill.
Couldn’t decide who to make first so I had the hubs draw a name out of a hat, and here we have it!

It’s funny that it was Animal.
Animal was never my favorite, BUT he was my indirect introduction to the Muppets (outside of the Muppet Babies cartoon show).
My Sunday school teacher when I was 4-6 years old used an Animal puppet to teach us Bible stories. 😂
(I am now a Buddhist, but some fond memories of my Baptist upbringing remain.)

Fun time making this, and it reconnected me to fun memories. 💜

It’s been 6 months since I picked up my hook, so I wanted a fun something to knock the dust off.
Love Adventure Time (& Fionna and Cake) and it’s Pride month so this Prince Gumball pattern by Loopy Crafts was the perfect choice!
