A friend asked if I could make them a Hawaiian Goose.

This is a project for makers like Starbird Creations or
The Crochet Zoologist. They make gorgeous, true-to-life animals.
I lean toward fantasy and weird. The more normal it is the less enthusiastic I am about the project. I felt like Wednesday at Camp Chippewa the whole time I was making this 😂

The official Avatar the Last Airbender Amigurumi pattern book had SO many of my favorite animals from the ATLA-verse, but it was missing my number one: a Rabbaroo!

I decided to challenge myself and figure it out, and I’m pleased with the results. Next time I’ll probably use safety eyes instead of French knots for the baby-roo.

This was also my first time using Alpaca yarn instead of my preferred cotton-bamboo blends and I LOVED it. (Cotton-Bamboo still reigns supreme for me, but Alpaca is a close second choice)

A crochet-friend from Insta designed this Turtle Duck pattern and Monk Gyatso.
It was a fun way to spend the day!

Last night I finished Liquidator and that finished off my Fearsome Five collection of patterns.

All of the dolls are wired so they can be posed, and stand on their own. Each one came with its own “I don’t know if can do this” challenge, but I love how they turned out. 😃

Tested this pattern before it goes live next week! Blocking the wing layers BEFORE sewing it together made a huge difference!

Was so excited to do this one.
My cousin and I got Darkwing action figures for our birthdays when we were kids. I got Bushroot and he got Megavolt, and as much as I loved Bushroot I wanted that Megavolt toy so badly! 😂

As soon as I saw the Vampire Court I knew I had to make them.
Couldn’t find the patterns I wanted to I made them myself!

As soon as I saw the Vampire Court for the first time, I *needed* to make them.

Oz has made himself yet another costume! This one was the original costume design I had for him, and it was so much fun to finally work it up.

Typically Kitsune are depicted with 9 tails, but Oz is young, and has a bit of learning to do before those last four tails are earned.

And don’t worry…he has a teacher coming soon! 😊

Every week if I accomplish my project goals I treat myself to crocheting one of the patterns out of Drew Hill’s official Muppets Amigurumi book.

Fozzie was my favorite from childhood (when I only knew about Muppet Babies)

A couple weeks ago I released my “Detective Duck” pattern and started designing one of my favorite DD villains.

I was intimidated by his head, and I am just so chuffed with how it turned out! 😊

I am looking for this specific shade of Violet yarn in size 3 (sport weight).
I have it in size 1 (THANK YOU, YARNART) but for most of my projects I use size 3.

Mary Annette is one of Oswald’s friends, and as you can see she comes with extra personality.

Originally, she was just going to be a girl with curly hair and a hand-puppet, but then the name “Mary Annette” came to me and she…evolved. 😂

Ozwald has another costume!

This was more sewing than I like (and I’m the one that designed it), but I love how it turned out!
(And it gave me time to start memorizing The Lost Boys Broadway soundtrack)
