DBMCI KOCHI(face to face)-Stanza living kochi🤮-kottayam academics (read full)
Dear Stanza Living(kochi) Team and Bhatia management-kottayam academics . posting this letter in reddit, so that every NEET PG aspirants can know how truely blessed we are and you don't have an option to delete, like you do in google reviews😌
I hope this letter finds you basking in the same comfort and hygiene that we, the residents, have dreamed of—but sadly, never experienced.
Let me begin by truly appreciating how you've merged the thrills of camping, wildlife exploration, and survival challenges—all within the four walls of a hostel.
The lift, lovingly resting in peace for weeks (or has it been months?), has been a blessing in disguise—what better way to build leg muscle and lung capacity than a daily climb to the 4th floor? Thanks for helping us save gym money!
The fridge has become a true archaeological site. We suspect there's a yogurt cup from 1947 still thriving in there.
The mess area, with its wastewater puddles, and bonus rat appearances and food shortages only add to the excitement of staying here.
Our deepest gratitude also goes out for the waste disposal delays. There’s nothing quite like watching a mountain of garbage grow majestically over the week. Very eco-chic.
And about the room cleaning and repairs—we understand delays happen. Maybe your cleaning team is stuck in the broken lift? Just a guess.
Lastly, the water supply shortage was a bold move. Encouraging mindfulness by making us count every drop—genius. Special mention to insects riched protein meals served most of the days.
In summary, thank you for turning basic living conditions into a full-fledged dystopian experience for this cheap rent of 15000 for a double sharing room.We came for studying but you people turned it into survival boot camp.special thanks to the uselessly efficient staff also. Please continue your adventures.
Warm regards.with love, a poor trapped doctor🙂

STANZA LIVING KOCHI KAKKANAD-Worst stay in my life
I stayed at Stanza Living(Laramie house), Kakkanad-kochi, for a while as our institution, DBMCI (Bhatia), Kottayam academics, uses this property to accommodate students attending the Kochi face-to-face classes.
Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst hostel experiences I’ve ever had. Hygiene is extremely poor. Rats and stray dogs were frequently seen on multiple floors. Almost every morning, the building smelled of garbage, and it wasn’t uncommon to find food waste scattered across the corridors.
The mess was equally disappointing. I personally found insects and cockroaches in the food on multiple occasions, making it difficult to trust the quality and cleanliness of the meals.
The staff appeared inexperienced and were rarely helpful. Whenever residents raised complaints, they either ignored them or acted as if they couldn’t do anything about the issues. There were also frequent incidents of cigarette smoke filling the building at night, and we even found staff members smoking inside the premises.
The management was the biggest disappointment. Once the rent was paid, there seemed to be little concern for residents’ complaints or living conditions. Considering the amount charged, the facilities and services are nowhere near worth the price.
For the same rent—or even less—you can easily find much cleaner and better-managed hostels in Kochi. I would strongly advise students, especially those coming for DBMCI classes, to explore other accommodation options before choosing this place.
just RUNNNNN with your life….
