Movies that let you bring a friend for free/discount

Anyone know of any current or upcoming movies that will let RU members bring a friend for free or at discounted price? And is there a way to know which movies are/will be eligible other than just clicking on every movie I'm interested in? Thanks!

Any tips on how/if customers can get movie posters?

I've collected movie posters for more than 35 years. Most have come from video stores. Of course that source ran out. I've gotten the occasional movie poster from some movie theaters but usually they either say they can't give them to customers or to check back another time or check with a manager (at another time). For the movie theater employees/managers in this group, are there any particular theater chains that are more likely to let customers have movie posters from time to time or is there anything I can do or say when asking about them to better my chances of getting any? Also, some theaters have said the posters are "property of the distributors" so they technically can't just give them away. Maybe someone here can confirm if that is true or not also.

Study titled "Using Online Tools for Tasks"

Anyone done one (or more) of these? Researcher is "Bob Sim." There are currently 26 of these on my dashboard that pay $21 each and say anywhere from 53 or so minutes up to just over an hour. They say audio, camera, and microphone are all needed. Just wondering what the camera part is. If it's just being on camera while interacting with a chat bot or no interaction with anyone/anything at all and they just want you on camera for "proof."

Tooth pulled. Dentist recommends bridge eventually. Thoughts?

A couple of weeks ago I had my left lower second molar pulled because it had a crack in it, so that was the only option for "treatment" otherwise I would not have had it pulled. It was the first and hopefully only tooth I'll ever have to have pulled.
My dentist recommended a bridge rather than an implant and told me the reasons why but I can't remember them all. I know a bridge will be cheaper but that's not the only reason why he suggested it.
I'm mostly worried if I do it, it won't be all it's cracked up to be and I may have some issues with it and will wish I'd just left the gap there. I've read both positive and negative experiences on here so I know it could go either way. I hate the feeling of that gap there and even though it isn't really noticeable by anyone else because of the location I'm still self conscious about it. I'm still chewing on my right side for now which is not my natural chewing side and I've hated it. I know I can eventually go back to chewing on my left side but will it feel weird with the permanent gap there? Will I be able to chew normally again? I have a friend who had the exact same tooth pulled many years ago and never had any problems and said chewing is normal on that side. I guess I'm just skeptical of both getting a bridge and just leaving a gap there.
So I guess I'd just like some opinions and thoughts on your experiences with bridges vs not doing anything. I'll be going back in November for my cleaning and further assessment on what he wants to do. I'm going to make my own decision of course though.
Btw, I"m 55, do not smoke. The tooth behind the one that was pulled has a filling. I have wisdom teeth on bottom that never came in because they are both laying flat pointing inwards and dental surgeon said it would do more hard than good to try to remove them at my age.

Any good promos for Regal Unlimited right now?

I'm going to sign up for Unlimited again soon, tonight or tomorrow, and was wondering if there are any good promo deals going around I should know about. I'm going to sign up for 3 months for now which is what I've done a couple of times before but last year around this time they offered the 4th month free. I see an offer on Groupon for a nice discount with the code "UNLIMITED" but can you use that when signing up in the Regal app/site? I have a $50 gift card to use towards it, by the way.

Regal Opry Mills Reclining Seats?

I've only been to Regal Opry Mills a handful of times and it has been a few years since my last visit. Looks like according to the Regal app none of their auditoriums have reclining seats. Can someone verify this for me please? Just curious before I go there in next few days.

Basketball/sports app study error messages.

Anyone get the study "US - Draft GameChanger Basketball - EXP664614 (watch college basketball)"? I accepted it and it immedately gave me the message, "Sorry, your responses could not be saved." I refreshed the page and got the message, "Sorry, you already took this survey."
I had not taken the survey before, this was the first time ever seeing or attempting it. It literally went straight to that first message as soon as I clicked to accept the study. There were 296 spots left when I accepted it and now there are still 286. So it's not a case of the study being full.

Tonal Sycophancy study from R.S.

Did anyone do any of the Tonal Sycophancy studies today? I did one that was supposed to only take an hour and I figure then auto complete with a completion code but I spent at least 70 minutes on it and it kept generating new turns for me. So I just submitted with a NOCODE so I probably gave them 70 minutes of free work.

Moviebox auto subtitles

Is there a way to disable the subtitles in the Moviebox app? I've looked everywhere and the option isn't there. In the subtitles settings there is no on/off option.

Wuffy Player having streaming issues.

I was trying to use Wuffy Player tonight which I have updated to newest version. I'm using the a Fire TV Stick 4k Max plus the older onn 4k box that was $20.
When I save any stream from 1PIX, no matter what channel or what kind, when I go to wuffy player to play it, it will play 10-15 seconds then pause about 5 seconds, and repeat that constantly. Does this on both devices. I tried posting about it in the onn community but it got removed even though there are other posts mentioning both apps by name too. Oh well.
Is anyone else having this problem? If so, have you been able to fix it or at least know why it's doing this? I've tried it with VPN on and off and same results.

Radiator issue 2000 Camry LE

I recently bought a 2000 Camry LE but have been driving it since December. It was a one owner for about the first 23 years then passed down to family before I got it. It was garage kept and is in great shape with only just over 180,000 miles when I acquired it.

Over the weekend it started overheating. I pulled over and steam was coming from radiator of course. Coolant had pooled on top of radiator. It was probably pretty much empty I'm guessing. The cap looked fine. Haven't checked thermostat. Other than that I couldn't tell where any damage may have been. Upper hose looked fine with no leaks appear to be coming from it. I had it towed to my nearest repair shop and it's a mechanic I trust but he stays backed up and said it may be a few days before he can get to it. So I was just hoping to get some ideas of what it might be to brace myself in case it's expensive.

Receipt scanning limit?

What is the max number of receipts we are allowed to scan in whatever timeframe Gas Buddy uses? I haven't seen anything in the app about "x receipts can be scanned within x days." I'll scan a random amount then can't scan anymore for a couple days or even several days. It never says when I can start scanning again the apps like Fetch do.

Is "Hey Telly" as useless for everyone else as it is for me?

Maybe the hey telly feature isn't supposed to do as much as I expect it to and it is working exactly like it is supposed to. But if that's the case, it's pretty useless. The only things I can see that it does is turn volume up or down but only the telly volume, not my soundbar - but I'm ok with that and know it isn't supposed to control my external devices. And if I say "switch to HDMI 2" for example, all it does is bring up the menu with HDMI inputs. I still have to manually select it. It certainly doesn't show me things like the forecast when I say "show me the local forecast." So is there something wrong with mine or is just this terrible?

Built in webcam not being recognized.

A friend of mine who just joined Prolific recently said when she tries to do a study requiring webcam, that it won't recognize hers. I can't talk to her more about it until tomorrow but wanted to get some ideas here of what it might be and what to ask her to help her out. I don't what browser she's using, probably Chrome, and not sure what operating system. What else could I ask her or what might she check to see if we can get it working? Thanks.

Live TV sites with subtitles/CC option?

Since thetvapp and tvpass have gone down I haven't had any luck finding similar replacements with subs or CC options. The only ones that I have found that are comparable in terms of quality and available channels are:
dulo dot tv
dami-tv dot pro
dlhd dot pk
But none of these as far as I've been able to tell have the option to turn subs/cc on/off like thetvapp and tvpass did on many channels. It's not a big deal for me personally, but a friend of mine is hard of hearing and likes to have subtitles on whenever possible. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Possible technical issues with Vortex Oasis today?

Just curious if anyone else is seeing the occasional Vortex AI video study show up and always saying it's in high demand or it's full. I know they have been getting snatched up faster lately especially when there are only one or two at time being posted but every one I've seen today has done this. Not that big of a deal but like I said I'm just curious if it's a glitch right now.

Two different completion codes provided

Just did a short study titled "Consumer Evaluation" and it provided a completion code when study was finished. But then it said something like "click to submit" and when I did it provided a different completion code. I submitted it with the second code and it is pending approval. Anyone come across this before?

Prolific app available for Android?

A friend of mine just got accepted to Prolific from my refer a friend and somehow ended up installing a Prolific app but there is no "official" Prolific app in Google Play. I know there could still be an official one that only participants get access to but is there? I've never had or used an Android Prolific app on my phone. I just use the phone browser. Her app also has her prolific ID and amount earned. Basically looks like the Prolific on a phone browser. So maybe it's an app that just opens in a browser? Any ideas? Should she uninstall it and just user the phone browser and her laptop?

No points added in over a month

April 16 was the last time any points were added to my account from receipt scans or Spin & Win. I've exchanged 20 emails with their "customer service" and it's usually the same replies word for word. So obviously it's not even a real person most of the time, if at all.

Has anyone else had this much trouble with points and if so were you able to get it straightened out? If so, how?
