How is Geology as an Career in India ? Do they hire PCB

I would add Maths from NIOS in Like 2 Months or So .

But This weird combo is not good enough for jee and I don't want to go to pvt engineering college as I can't afford haha

But I am interested in PSU jobs

My goal is to do BSc in Geo + Msc in Geo from DU . I have crossed previous year cutoff for hansraj let's se where it gets.

Can I go for PSU job after Msc in Geo. ?

A lot of people saying PSU like ONGC don't hire PCB grads. But When I searched it on Chat GPT , he said you are eligible and can be hired( obviously through gate) for geologist position but not for a very specific technical post ( Geophysicist)

Same he said you are eligible for msc in most iit and obviously du and bhu

PCB currently .

Is changing stream from medicine to Arts worth it for Govt jobs/MBA

Long story short . I secured nice enough score (570) in reneet but genuinely I don't want to do medicine in india at all.

I want to prepare for govt jobs and mba

But I had PCB and I heard so many negative review about du bio courses.

Suggest me a course which gives ample amount of time for govt job preparation, is easy to score grad score and have diversity in mba .

Should I switch to arts courses just for mba after graduation.

I am an PCB student should I go for arts courses so that I can get Into mba easily . I will also prepare for govt exams side by side

Bba + mba vs Bca + mca . Which is better for good career

Top colleges for mba>>> mca

Top colleges for mca >> mba

But entry barrier in mba is much higher than mca

Rank these for please

  1. tier 1 mba

  2. tier 1 mca

  3. tier 2 mba

  4. tier 2 mba

  5. tier 3 mba

  6. tier 3 mca

Compare growth potential, career longevity, starting salary , ending salary , work stability , job security

Myquals : 10/12- 9/9 in both

Is it worth joining medicine to move aboard

You need b1 b2 visa for clinical rotations where getting odds for approval is extremely low. Like you have to either riche riche and has to be travelled atleast 10-15 countries before.

Also you have only 30 days after J-1 Visa to find a job . Compare it with 3 years for stem f-1 .

Also you most probably have to return back to your country after getting residency as the no. Of IMG in US is growing but waiver isn't at same rate.

The no. Of IMG applying is already growing at astronomical rate.

They 56-57 % match rate but in reality it's 15-20 % because they include GC holders in non US applicants

Is it worth it for upper middle class but ambitious kid .
