i bought on amazon thought it was a good deal but it showed up and it fits in my palm. turns out it can take 6-60 volts and 480 watts THEN it can be a variable power supply. it has usb c power IN on the back and i think a yellow 2 pin screw in connector. anyway plugged into my 140 watt macbook charger i get max 19 volts or if i make a short 3 volts 20-23 watts and 8.1 amps. wich is pretty good but i still want more i want its full potential. old dell power supply? . https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0H46G9YRR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

One is hi 8 trv308 working and a digital 8 dcr-trv260 not working. The digital one has a damaged tape mechanism but otherwise is good. The hi-8 is fully working with great battery life. Both featuring nightshot. I want a digital 8 camcorder that is hopefully backwards compatible (trv250) but I also like the trv 900 and 950. Really I’m interested in anything even if you just wanna show me your cool camera

digital, nightshot, funnylittlelight, my personal favorite screen shell (i dont like the round ones), backward compatibility, firewire/usb streaming, its tinted blue, i know its not a mini dv camera and the vx1000 probably has it beat but i think when people think handycam they think video 8 and for functionality features looks quality and usefulness this is it. unfortunately its 425 on facebook marketplace

Prior to this upload it did not function, it not… plays? See video. I found 3 capacitors huddled together with acid crud on them. I replaced 2 which I could find exact counterparts of in a baby monitor, one I could not find a replica I cleaned up and I assumed it just got the other caps goop on it so I put it back in, a 10v uf?? The two I replaced were. 220uf16v and a 50v0.1uf. I’m not sure if that helps. Anyway no sound and plays weird just tell me if going back in is worth it.

Jvc camera no battery 7.2 volt so I hooked it up to an old infolithium but this also has knockoff infolithium hardware so it goes into safeguard mode 6 and I want to bypass it potentially. The pins are + t c -
It works 100% otherwise also there’s a debug port under a hidden panel under the camera

i feel like most people here know that beta in the end wasn't better than vhs since beta 2 became the standard BUT i think that video 8 could have won its so insanely small yet has quality comparable to vhs if they just made it a little bigger (120->140) it could have succeeded especially since it came out mid 80s.HI-8 too it came late but was mini s-vhs. id say digi-8 but dvd was too powerful. thoughts?

This is my great grandpas sc55 he was huge into cameras. This is his 1997. Anyway the problem is the screen, luckily it hasn’t delaminated and looks good. The problem is the tilt feature, if I pop it into its natural state it glitches out and when I put it back I have to flick it. I think it’s getting worse so I’d like to fix it ASAP I think it’s a ribbon cable but I don’t know screen side or camera side. Any help would… help. thanks

Ps it’s very unlikely caps as the camera functions 100% like new and was kept in a moisture free environment I believe some part or soldier has gone loose
