AITAH for telling my younger brother stay grounded in his current job rather than wasting his savings on an unrealistic dream of becoming a pilot?

I (M29) have a little brother (M26) let's call him Harry. Harry has been very eccentric all his life and has had a hard time adulting. He dropped out of college three times even though our mother was paying for it, and he has consistently been unable to keep a job.

Every now and then, Harry gets a big new goal regarding what he wants to do. Examples include, but are not limited to: lawyer, doctor, police officer, Special Forces, professional fighter, and vlogger. If it's a high-status or "cool" job, he dreams about it, talks about it incessantly, and starts working toward it (Sometimes) only to quit after a week at most. We are used to just smiling and giving him the "okay, buddy" treatment. To be clear, we had kind of made peace with Harry being like this. He is very likely neurodivergent and has exhibited many behavioral challenges; he gets super sensitive about minor things and has left numerous jobs, claiming that the "boss is a d**k" or the coworkers were mean.

One day, Harry told us that he wants to become a pilot. We gave him the usual "okay, buddy," as it wasn't the first time he had declared a grand new ambition. Then, he got a blue-collar job that he claims is great for him because he gets to work alone. He also claims that being a pilot is perfect for him because he would work in smaller teams with "more educated people." The whole "working-class people are degenerate" trope is a big part of why he cannot hold a job; he simply cannot handle the culture of being around working-class people, according to him at least. Ironically enough, apparently the same thing applied to college students when he was in school.

Anyway, wouldn't you know it, Harry has held this job for a record of six to seven months now, which is great! We are so happy for him, and we told him that he should stick with it no matter what. However, our mom recently found out that Harry doesn't have any money saved. Mind you, Harry lives with our mom and has no real living expenses other than food and his car, so we were very confused. It turns out that he has been taking flying lessons secretly for over two months now.

Harry should not become a pilot heck, realistically, he cannot become a pilot. Believe me when I tell you that I have known Harry his entire life. He is just wasting his money. At best, he won't realistically be able to finish; at worst, he could end up putting other people's lives in danger. I see a very real possibility where Harry finishes flight school, spends thousands of dollars, and then messes up his flying career and burns that bridge just like he did with so many other paths.

We tried to have a conversation with him but he called us "downers" and said that we are "holding him back" and that a good family should support him no matter what

I feel like a good family that cares for him would steer him in the right direction for him and be realistic wth him rather than telling him what he wants to hear

AITAH?

How do I tell Harry to be realistic, know himself, and simply stick with the current blue-collar work he has found success in, or to aim for more realistic, manageable goals?

[TX] Landlord mangment office takes forever to fix things, today I dropped in and told them I am getting a city inspector , what should I do next?

For context, I live in an inner-city apartment complex that primarily rents to immigrants and working-class people. When things break, they stay broken for a long time before they are fixed. I have frequently gone a whole week or more without power or AC because there was an issue with the switch box or some other problem. We had an entire block burn down because they were using cheap tar. I have family who live in another block of the complex, where the AC barely works for the entire building. It's a mess.

A few months ago, a worker accidentally broke my window, and it was fixed within an hour. Yesterday, the same window was broken somehow. I submitted a ticket yesterday, and they told me to come back the next day. Today, they said they are ordering parts. I went into the office in person today with City Code Enforcement on the phone. The office management refused to give me a timeline or speak to Code Enforcement. Code Enforcement scheduled an inspector to come over on Monday. I also threatened to take them to the Justice of the Peace if it wasn't fixed by Tuesday. To my understanding, if something is endangering my safety, they have 7 days to fix it.

I chose to meet them in person before doing all of this to give them a courtesy. I JUST WANT MY WINDOW TO BE FIXED AND FOR THINGS TO BE FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Was what I did the wrong move? And what should I do next?

I am worried about retaliation. City Code Enforcement told me that they cannot help with retaliation if the management retaliates against me, and I read the only thing I can do is go to the Justice of the Peace, but it's hard to prove and expensive.

I am a working-class person and cannot afford much and I need to be able to renew my lease when it's time, cannot afford to live anywhere else as nearby apartments are much more expensive, and everything else is much farther from work

I just don't want to be treated this way

Edit: To be clear, the reason I am taking action this early is that I live alone, and I am currently missing work to stay in my apartment due to the fear of someone breaking in

I really hate how so many people flip once they find out that I am Arab American

This happens to me both online and in real life. I am a white-passing Arab-American. I grew up primarily around white people and consider myself primarily (though definitely not fully) culturally American. My girlfriend, who isn't Arab, often jokes that I am a "fake Arab" or an American LARPing as one.

That being said, I carry both identities very comfortably. I am not embarrassed by either, and I never try to hide my Arab roots.

But the sheer number of times I've had people flip their treatment of me or straight-up ghost me, both online and in person once they find out I am Arab really hurts.

A part of me just wants to change my name to something more Western and tell people I am white from now on. However, another part of me knows that I wouldn't want to associate with people who would judge me, or anyone else, based on their race.

I have experienced multiple incidents where I clearly missed out on social interactions and adventures because of this, and it really stings.

I just needed to get this off my chest.

Mid 20s need guidance on what join

I am a loser and TBH I can really use the GI bill and the military to fix myself. I was never able to keep a job, and I have a really bad porn addiction and I may or may not become homeless this year lol

Is the military good for me? I took the ASVAB years ago and scored 92 AFQT and I have 25 college credits. What MOS do you think I should do? I honestly just want my time in and out for the GI bill

I am also not the most physically fit guy, no medical issues and I can make weight and minmums, but I don't think I am that strong, though I have never been consistent with the gym or working out, years ago I brought this to a vet neighbor of ours and he told me not to worry about it and that I will get fitter when I am in

Any life advice appreciated it

Edit: I never used drugs, and I don't think I need a waiver for anything. I just have a few traffic tickets that were dropped, and I had to do driving school for one, clean record beyond that
