Catch: bait with jam (new plant for this biome), then hit it with something. It will be stunned, and you can use any sort of entrapment device.

Anyways, he is grabbing some eggs, milk, flour, sugar, butter, and blueberries. With each item he has, he just... drops behind him. There's probably a cart in that convient camera blindspot and dark, shady area. I mean, he's just a normal guy, so what else could be there?
