Yurt cabin?

I’m thinking about buying some land at a lake in northern Saskatchewan. it will only be used as a 3 season cabin and maybe the odd night when I go on an ice fishing trip. there’s power and natural gas run to the edge of the lot. Ive heard that they are loud when it rains, how loud is it? also how warm are they in the summer? what about snow load? I will get the snow and wind package. as you can tell I don’t really know anything about yurts so I’m in the very early preliminary stages.

Leased crown land?

I’d like to set up an off grid camp at a lake in northern Saskatchewan. I don’t have any plan or even a lake picked yet I’m just wondering if this is still an option. id likely just clear a few trees and put up a yurt of some type.

Prop pitch?

I’m new to pontoon boats. I have a princecraft vectra 21 With a 115 merc. The boat didn’t have a tach for some strange reason so I installed one. When it idles it’s sitting at 1000 rpm. That seems in the normal range. When I took it out for the first time the WOT was off the tach. It goes to 7,000 and I’m sure it was a little over 8,000. which obviously way to high. the motor didn’t seam to be screaming so I’m second guessing my tach. my Boat has a 13.4x15p prop. I went to a boat shop and they recommended a 17p prop. He said that would be enough to bring down the RPM. I’m thinking of getting one of those cheap spark plug wire tacks to verify the one I installed. so after all that info my question is does any one know the recommended pitch prop for that motor?

Angle grinder not accepting battery

I bought an angle grinder and it won’t accept the battery. in the picture that’s as far as the battery will go on. is there a quick fix or do I have to return it?

edit- I tried three different batteries. I’m a tradesman who uses power tools everyday. so I know how hard to push. just wondering if there’s an easy fix or if it’s a common issue before I return it.

R 134a Refrigerant replacement

so in Canada you cant buy r134a refrigerant off the shelf. what is the replacement for it? I’ve charged it in the past but I cant remember what I used. some pages said 12a will work then others say it will destroy the system so I dunno anymore.

Not working right.

every time I turn it on the remote doesn’t work. I have to unplug it for a minute or so. then when I hook it back up it works fine. I then select the app I’m going to watch. when I’m done watching the remote won’t work again unless I unplug it for a minute again. is there any fix for this?

when my door is fully open the cable on the right side is loose but the cable on the left side it tight. how do I resolve this issue? I’m worried the loose side is going to get all tangled up.
