I’ve been doing a little research because I don’t know much about immortals or cultivation in Chinese culture/xianxia, but I’ve learned there are different cultivation realms and that each one represents a huge jump in power.

From what I understand, it can go something like Qi Refinement/Condensation → Foundation Establishment → Golden Core → Nascent Soul and then even higher, depending on the setting. People can apparently gain longer lifespans, fly with swords, use spiritual energy, control weapons remotely, and eventually become true immortals.

So I wanted to ask: how powerful are immortals usually supposed to be, especially compared with cultivators in the lower realms? Is “immortal” a broad title, or does it mean someone has reached a specific final realm?

Also, where do you all think Qingxiao falls on that kind of scale? She is called a sword cultivator and the Sword Transcendent, has Sword Flight, and seems far beyond an ordinary fighter. But I’m not sure whether that would place her around Foundation Establishment, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, or something higher in typical cultivation logic.

I know WuWa probably has its own rules, so I’m mainly looking for a good explanation and any cultural/lore context people can share.

I’m heavily debating pulling her, because I feel like she does everything that Cartethiya does, even down to how she moves during combat (aside from the flying sword)…

The only thing that will push me to pull for her is a significant damage increase. That said, I have Cartethiya’s S0R1 and her premium team (w/ aero rover), I also have Denia S0R0, and Mornye S1.

With those in mind, does Qingxiao beat Carte by a landslide as the new Aero DPS? Or not really?

How much of a difference is her Sig compared to EoG? I may not have enough for Sig 😔

Aside from rover, which character(s) is the closest?

I know the Sentinels and Threnodians are basically the gods of Solaris.

That said, do they have abodes or spaces where they reside? Does Solaris have a heaven/hell, or something similiar?

28M and I just came out to my parents.

It went pretty well, and I’m immensely grateful because I know this isn’t everyone’s story.

Even if it didn’t go well, today was the day that I chose myself. It took a lot of courage to get this out.

I’m going home this weekend and planning to come out to my family, but I’m not sure if the timing is right.

I come from a very conservative household, so I don’t know how it’ll be received.

At the same time, my dad took out about $200k in Parent PLUS loans for my tuition, and repayment starts next year.

I’ve been independent since 18 and haven’t had to ask him for anything, so this is really hard for me. But realistically, I won’t be able to cover everything on my own with my current income.

He’s remarried with a family and doing well, they make about 350k combined, but I still feel like this is a big ask especially while coming out. I’m worried it could create resentment. And his wife can be a bit… forward 😅

I guess I’m trying to figure out if I should handle these separately or not. Any advice would really help.

I’m trying to pick a new income‑driven repayment plan now that the SAVE plan is ending. My payment currently is $0 so this would be my first payment since graduating in 2020 (Covid).

I’ve got about 30k in federal student loans in my own name. I’m single, no kids, and my income is around 40–50k a year (closer to 50k).

I’ve heard a lot of people say they’re looking at IBR and the new RAP plan as “next best” options after SAVE.

For someone in my situation who wants the lowest monthly payment right now (but plans to pay more aggressively once income goes up), which plan would you pick and why – RAP or IBR? Any pros/cons I should know or things you wish you’d done differently?

Trying to see who to save for, I want Qingxiao and Hsin the most and want to get an idea of what their teams “could” be.

SuiSui’s kit seems very specific to Glacio chars atm.
