Things I noticed after leaving my phone in my room

It's been a week since I decided to leave my phone in my room when I have to do something else in my house like eating, showering, doing chores etc.

At first it was kinda hard, and I felt a strong urge to go grab it, but now I don't wanna go back. When my phone is away and I can't easily reach it, I feel like my brain can rest and I feel at peace. No anxiety because someone will contact you, no need to check for notifications or feeling the urge to opening some games. I can't really describe this feeling, but it feels so refreshing.

I also noticed how I interact more with my family, and it takes less to do a lot of things. Like, if showering took me almost an hour before, since I used to bring my phone and get lost in it, now I'm done in less than 20 minutes.

Sadly I know that in a few weeks I will probably go back to using my phone like before. Last year I managed to stop using on Tiktok and Insta, but now I spend a lot of time on Reddit instead (which I believe is better than doomscrolling on those apps, but I still use it too much).

Anyway, I'm happy with this "experiment", at least now I know what it feels to leave your phone away.

LOST MEDIA? Parodia Mosconi Rotta x casa di dio

Innanzitutto mi scuso se non è un contenuto adatto al sub.

Stavo controllando un vecchio hard disk di mio padre e ho trovato, nascosto tra normalissime canzoni degli 883, un file chiamato "Germano Mosconi e 883- Rotta per casa de Dio cane.mp3", datato 13 Ottobre 2007.

Cercando su internet, ho trovato solo questa menzione su last fm https://www.last.fm/it/music/Germano+Mosconi+&+883/_/Rotta+Per+Casa+Di+Dio+Cane ma sembra che nessuno lo abbia caricato online, quindi lo condivido quà nel caso dovesse interessare a qualcuno.

Negative used space on a 12TB HDD

I have a 12TB HDD mounted on two different Proxmox containers. The drive is used as a NAS and to store media for Jellyfin. On Windows, where it is mounted with SMB, it suddenly said 23.1 TB available of 10.8 TB. If I run lsblk on the container it says -13T used, and lsblk gives a segmentation fault error. If I try to umount it, it says that the partition is not mounted. The Hard Drive is still working fine and I can add files without problem. What is going on?

The double standards of appeasement

Basically, Pierre Laval, the French Prime Minister in 1935, wanted to appease Italy in Ethiopia in order to have another ally against Germany. He proposed an end to the Abyssinian War by giving Mussolini a large chunk of Ethiopia, and signed a secret pact with British foreign minister Samuel Hoare, called the Hoare-Laval Pact (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoare%E2%80%93Laval\_Pact). The pact became public and people became outraged against the two. So Lavalle and Hoare were forced to resign.
