Pilea Mollis success

As a new plant addict (thanks the tism, I guess) over the last three-ish months I went from having one plant (a jade that survived me and convinced me I could do this) to now having 33.

And one of these 33 is my beautiful Moon Valley, that I got at Home Depot in March, and now has bloomed.
She is just so beautiful, makes me so happy.

Thanks in advance to anyone that explains what the little pink buds are.

Chr0m3 H3@rts Sunglasses - Janie

📥 THE BASICS

Purchased Item: Chr0m3 Hearts Chirp Chirp Pale Ale Dark Tortoise Sunglasses
Seller: Janie
Contact Info: WhatsApp
Price: $75 shipped
Optional Shipping Upgrade: $15
Payment Method: PayPal Friends & Family

⚠️** DISCLOSURE**: Janie is not aware of this review and provided no incentives, discounts, or compensation.

⏱️** LOGISTICS & TIMELIN**E

This review almost ended up being about a completely different pair of sunglasses.

Originally, I reached out to Janie on May 29th to purchase a pair of B0tteg@ Venet@ sunglasses. The album photos were pulled from the authentic website, and I selected a version that appeared slightly darker than the sample shown.

May 29: Contacted Janie and paid $75 via PayPal F&F
May 31: Received PSPs
May 31: Realized I really didn’t like the lens color and politely asked if the lighter version from the album was available
June 2: Janie informed me that version was unavailable
June 2: Chose a different pair from a different brand and paid the $10 difference
June 4: Janie informed me the newly selected sunglasses would not be available for another week and offered me the option to choose something else (At this point I already knew they wouldn’t arrive in time for the wedding I originally purchased them for - first world problems)
June 11: Received PSPs for the final pair, approved them, and they shipped the same day
June 18: Package delivered

🔎 THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience

The final pair ended up being the Chr0me Hearts Chirp Chirp Pale Ale Dark Tortoise sunglasses.

My immediate reaction when opening the package was that they feel premium, as they should.

The construction feels solid, the materials feel substantial, and nothing about them gives off the typical “cheap fashion sunglasses” vibe.

The frame appears to be a combination of acetate and metal. Weight is right in the middle—not light, not too heavy—and the overall build feels sturdy and well assembled.

A few things stood out immediately:

No strange smells
No creaking when opening the arms
Hinges feel solid
Symmetrical construction
Comfortable fit right out of the box

One thing I particularly appreciated is that they sit straight on my face.

My ears are uneven, which makes a lot of sunglasses look crooked on me. These somehow manage to sit evenly without any adjustment.

Lens Quality

The lenses are polarized and include the watermark, on the inside.

Looking through them feels completely natural:

No distortion
No eye strain
Colors remain natural
Dark enough to be effective without being excessively dark

I’ve only had them for a short time, but my first impression is that these function like proper sunglasses rather than simply fashion accessories.

Construction & Details

The hardware and branding details are very nicely executed.

Engravings are crisp overall. If I’m being picky, the interior engraving could be slightly sharper, but realistically nobody is taking sunglasses off my face to authenticate them.

The color is consistent throughout, logos appear properly placed, and I haven’t noticed any alignment issues.

I am still comparing them against authentic references, but nothing has jumped out at me as obviously incorrect.

Packaging

Packaging exceeded expectations.

The sunglasses arrived:

Inside a protective case
With a dust cloth
With a carrying pouch and documentation
Thoroughly wrapped and protected inside multiple layers of packaging

Everything arrived in perfect condition.

2. Seller Experience

Honestly, this review could just as easily be about customer service.

The process involved:

One pair with lenses I didn’t like
A replacement choice
That replacement going out of stock
A second round of waiting

At no point did Janie become impatient, defensive, or difficult.

When I told her, in very direct terms, “I don’t really like these lenses,” she simply worked with me to find another option.

When that option became unavailable, she immediately informed me and offered alternatives.

Throughout the entire process she remained:

Polite
Responsive
Helpful
Patient

I never felt pressured into choosing a specific item, and it genuinely felt like she wanted me to be happy with whatever I ultimately received.

Communication was excellent from start to finish.

⚖️** FINAL VERDIC**T

The Bottom Line:

A well-built, premium-feeling pair of sunglasses backed by excellent customer service.

The sunglasses feel expensive, look expensive, and have the kind of cool, exclusive energy that makes you immediately want to wear them.

Would I Buy Again?
Absolutely.

In fact, I’d be comfortable purchasing prescription glasses from Janie based on this experience.

Biggest Pro:
Excellent build quality and premium feel.

Biggest Con:
They didn’t arrive in time for the event I originally purchased them for.

Would I Buy This Exact Pair Again?
Probably not—but only because I enjoy variety.

Would I Recommend to Beginners?
Absolutely.

Score:
9.5/10

The missing half point isn’t for the product itself. It’s because the original plan went through a few unexpected detours before reaching the finish line. The sunglasses, however, were worth the wait.

Splitting

A few weeks ago, I posted some pictures of this darling, here, asking for help.

I’m happy to share, now, that after making soils and lighting adjustments, my Lithops seems to be on the right path, cause this week, it started splitting for good.

So, that’s the post! I’m just happy I didn’t kill this one

L03W3 Am@z0na 23 (Jipin)

📥 THE BASICS

Purchased Item: L03W3 Am@z0na 23 Cropped in Tartan Suede
Factory: Jipin
Seller: Mandy
Contact Info: WhatsApp
Price:
Bag: $100
Shipping: $45 to the US
Total: $145
Payment Method: PayPal

⏱️** LOGISTICS & TIMELIN**E

A little context: I was casually browsing Mandy’s album and found this bag on clearance. I “needed” a new bag for a wedding because apparently the other 25 bags I own simply were not right 😏

The album stated that clearance items wouldn’t receive checking pictures, but Mandy still sent PSPs, which I appreciated.

05/10: Bag selected and paid for
05/13: Mandy sent additional PSPs. Bag matched factory photos. I noticed a slightly faded area in the center and pointed it out. Turns out that effect appears intentional and actually contributes to the worn-in suede look.
05/15: Shipping slip received (not yet posted)
05/17: Tracking number received
05/22: Bag delivered to New York

Shipping was through FedEx and took 5 days from tracking to delivery.

🔎 THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience:

This bag exceeded my expectations.

The material genuinely feels like suede. It leans slightly dry rather than buttery, but still has that soft-ish velvety finish. No (fufu) smell whatsoever outside of a subtle leather smell.

The structure is one of my favorite things about it.

It’s surprisingly light but still feels substantial and holds its shape extremely well. It stands on its own and feels structured without becoming stiff or boxy. Because it’s so lightweight, it’s also really comfortable to wear on the shoulder.

Color-wise, this was a pleasant surprise.

It is darker than the factory photos and PSPs suggested—which ended up being a positive because it looks closer to the authentic. The factory photos looked a little yellow to me, while the actual bag pulls more brown and richer in tone.

Pattern-wise, I noticed something:
The authentic seems to use different sections of the tartan print depending on the panel, while the rep repeats the pattern consistently across both sides.

Initially, I thought some faded areas were defects, but after comparing references it appears to be intentional distressing/fading in the suede.

Construction is excellent:

Stitching looks clean throughout
No loose threads
Great symmetry and alignment
Corners are nicely rounded and resemble the authentic well

Hardware is also great:

Excellent color (balanced gold, not too yellow)
Feels very solid (likely steel)
No scratches
Smooth zipper operation

Interior is lined with black leather (and I’m fairly confident it’s real leather). Interior quality feels great and smells pleasant.

Functionally, this bag does exactly what I wanted:
It fits essentials comfortably and works beautifully for weddings or events where you want something compact, polished, and low-profile… but with an edge(?) lol

2. Seller Experience:

Communication with Mandy was excellent.

She responded quickly, was patient, and never felt pushy. I’ve probably asked her about dozens of bags at this point and she’s consistently been helpful.

Even though the listing suggested no PSPs for clearance items, she still volunteered additional PSPs.

I pointed out the faded section myself, and she clarified that it matched factory photos.

Final item matched PSPs 100%.

Packaging was very good:

Dust bag included (nice quality)
Well protected
Arrived with no damage

No customs issues that I noticed.

Would I buy clearance again? Immediately. Looking forward to it

⚖️** FINAL VERDIC**T

The Bottom Line:
A ridiculously good clearance find that feels much more expensive than $145 total and gives cute luxury energy without trying too hard.

Score: 10/10

Would I wear it into the boutique?
Honestly… yes.

Biggest Pro:
Compact, functional, lightweight, and feels genuinely well made.

Biggest Con:
I’m not allowed to buy more bags right now because apparently I already own too many 😫

Would I recommend to beginners?
Absolutely.

L V Ste@mer 30 + L V AirPods case (Bag Charm)

️I have not received any incentive nor Arwen is aware of this review

Purchased Item: L V Ste@mer 30 + L V AirPods Case

Factory: HS Factory (according to Arwen)

Seller: Arwen Store

Contact Info: WhatsApp

Price:

Bag: $246

AirPods Case: $40

Shipping: $55

Payment Method: PayPal

⏱️** LOGISTICS & TIMELIN**E

April 21: Payment sent

April 23: PSPs for the bag received

April 25: Seller informed me the factory producing the AirPods case got raided

April 27: PSPs for the AirPods case received

April 28: Shipping label created (routed through Singapore)

May 5: Package delivered

Shipping was through UPS and took 7 days from label creation to delivery (China → Singapore → Alaska → NYC). Customs process was smooth with no issues.

🔎 THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience:

Overall, I’m genuinely happy with the bag. The materials feel significantly better than the two DHGate reps I previously owned.

The seller described the leather as Spanish A-grade leather. The bag has a nice leather smell — no “fufu” odor whatsoever. I recently conditioned it 3x, threw it in the dryer (low heat - inside dust bag) for 5 minutes, then ran a full cycle with no heat, and massage gunned it a bit, to break in the stiffness, it’s a bit more slouchy, feels nicer.

The bag weighs about 3 lbs / 1.4kg, which honestly surprised me in a good way. It feels sturdy and substantial without feeling overly heavy.

Hardware is excellent. It feels solid (possibly steel) and the gold tone is VERY well done — not overly yellow or cheap-looking like a lot of reps tend to be. One of the best details on the bag, honestly.

The stitching overall is great, but there are a couple flaws worth mentioning:

The stitching around the Boston Terrier (it is supposed to be a French bulldog, but I wanted it because it looks like my Boston terrier) head detail gets a little rough in one area. Looking back, I actually could see it in the PSPs, but I missed it.

The biggest flaw is definitely the side panel alignment.
This particular bag style seems difficult to rep correctly because the auth uses a continuous panel wrapping around the sides, while the rep uses separate panels meeting in the middle. Because of that, the side alignment is off.

I did bring this up to Arwen and mentioned that I wish the issue had been shown more clearly in the PSPs because I probably would have requested another bag. Funny enough, after researching online (including Threads posts), every re version of this bag I found seemed to suffer from the exact same issue.

So yes, technically it should be a dealbreaker… but I love the bag enough that I’m keeping it anyway lol.

The engraving quality is crisp overall, though one metallic letter on the L V tab is faded.

The lining feels good, and construction overall is of higher quality.

AirPods Case:

The L V AirPods case feels nice overall and has no strange smell. The fit is slightly loose, but still usable. There’s a minor stitching inconsistency.

Would I personally pay $40 for it? Probably not — but it was gifted to me (by my fiancé, together with the bag), so I’m not complaining.

2. Seller Experience:

Communication was through WhatsApp and response times were consistently fast.

The seller was friendly, polite, and never pushy or rushed. They were also very apologetic about the AirPods case delay caused by the factory raid — honestly more apologetic than necessary since it clearly wasn’t their fault.
PSPs were mostly clear and detailed, but the side alignment issue on the bag was not shown clearly enough.

To be fair, I also didn’t ask for enough detailed side photos, so that’s partly on me too.

The final product matched the PSPs exactly, so there was no bait-and-switch situation.

Packaging was:

Box

Plastic wrapping

Dust bag

Product inside

Everything arrived safely with no damage.

📸 THE GALLERY

Factory photos and PSP were the same (11 - forward)

⚖️** FINAL VERDIC**T

The Bottom Line:

A genuinely solid rep with great materials and beautiful hardware, slightly held back by the common side alignment flaw this model seems to have across multiple factories.
It could be cheaper, but again, I didn’t have to pay for anything, so 🤷🏽‍♂️ lol

u/Tough_Cookie85 — 2 months ago

TLDR.: good bag, but with flaws. Next time, scrutinize PSP’s
Also, I used AI to structure this review cause I’m lazy, people, sorry.
No incentive was given!

I wanted to share a detailed review of my experience, since I know how helpful thorough posts can be when you’re deciding on a purchase.

Color: Classic brown with gold hardware
Fiancé bought it for my birthday.

- Shipping: $55

I wasn’t offered different shipping options, so I assume insurance was included, though I didn’t ask.

- April 27: PSPs for AirPods case received

👜 Bag Review

Material & Feel:
Seller described it as Spanish A-grade leather. It feels good overall — not plasticky, no “fufu” smell, just a mild leather scent. I’ll probably condition it to enhance the texture a bit more.

Structure & Weight:
About 3 lbs (1.4 kg). Slightly slouchy, not rigid — which I actually like and believe is accurate to the style.

Stitching & Construction:
Overall stitching is very good. The only noticeable issue is a slightly rough area on the Boston Terrier head detail (I could have caught this in PSPs, I just didn’t).

The biggest flaw is on the sides:
- Misalignment where panels meet
- The authentic has a continuous panel, but this version joins panels at the sides

After digging around (even found examples on Threads), it seems this is a common flaw across reps of this bag, not just mine. Still — this should have been shown clearly in PSPs, and I did let the seller know I would have requested a different bag if I had seen it. Bottom is perfectly aligned

Hardware:
Excellent. Steel, with a very accurate gold tone — not overly yellow, which is a common issue with reps, Arwen Store informed me it is “imported grade A steel”, for all that’s worth it.

Engravings:
Crisp overall. Letter V on the flap is slightly faded, but doesn’t bother me. I’ve seen the laminated letters at worse quality, on originals.

Lining:
Feels good, no issues.

---

🎧 AirPods Case

LV Bulldog design.

- Feels nice overall
- Slight stitching imperfection
- Fits a tiny bit loose
- No smell
P.S.: the head, in the auth is smaller, so this is not entirely accurate, just a heads up. I like this one better cause it looks more like my Boston Terrier

Would I pay $40 for it? No — but since it was a gift, I’m not mad about it.

---

📸 PSPs

- Mostly clear and detailed
- The side misalignment was not shown
- Seller provided what I asked for, but I didn’t ask for enough (lesson learned)

Final product matched PSPs, so no bait-and-switch situation.

---

💬 Seller Experience (Arwen Store)

- Communication via WhatsApp
- Fast responses
- Friendly tone, not pushy
- Very apologetic about delays (honestly more than necessary — the factory raid wasn’t their fault)
- Very apologetic about the misalignment on the sides (necessary)

I didn’t feel rushed at any point.

---

🚚 Shipping & Packaging

- Box → plastic bag → dust bag → item
- Everything arrived safely
- No damage

---

⚖️*** Final Thought***s

If this bag didn’t have the side alignment issue, I would absolutely say it’s worth $246, even more, actually. The material quality and overall construction are strong.

That said — this was a good lesson:
👉 Always scrutinize PSPs, especially side angles

Would I buy from Arwen again?
Yes — but I’d be much more detail-oriented next time.

Would I recommend to beginners?
Yes, with the caveat: ask for very detailed PSPs and check everything.

Biggest Pro:
Material quality and overall feel of the bag

Biggest Con:
Side panel misalignment

Surprise:
The weight and sturdiness — feels more substantial than expected

Comparison:
Significantly better than my previous reps from DHGate

---

Overall, I’m happy with it — flaws and all. Just going to be a little more “annoying” (read: thorough) next time.

Will add videos on the comments

Are the outer pockets too screwed up? I know the auth is way more structured, so I don’t know how I feel about this one.

Also, anything else I should be aware of?
