Unpopular Opinion: The Explorer Looks Great in White

I've always wondered what an Explorer would look like with a white dial, so I mocked up this quick render. I tried to keep everything else faithful to the 36mm Explorer—the proportions, brushed Oyster bracelet, and clean, understated design—while swapping the classic black dial for a crisp white one.

Personally, I think it gives the Explorer a completely different personality. It still feels rugged and versatile, but with a brighter, more modern look. If Rolex ever released this, I'd seriously consider buying one.

What do you think? Better than the black dial, or is the black dial simply untouchable?

Got my first Rolex in Japan

Got my first Rolex in Japan — a 114270 with an engraved rehaut. It wasn’t exactly the one I had been looking for, but the moment I tried it on, I felt that spark and knew it was the right one for me. I’m so happy I went for it! すごい!
