Right then. Since my last effort was deemed a brunch. How’s this?

Potential eBay watch scam, how do we think this will work out? An update.

Following on from https://www.reddit.com/r/ebayuk/s/C3wuIC3Ace

It’s now all sorted but by fuck did eBay screw me around.

The watch went back to the authenticator who said “nope. It’s real and it’s been worn”

The buyer then returned it again with an obviously AI generated letter from TAG saying it was fake.

I accepted the return and it was sent back to me.
Now this is where it gets fucky. Some of the bits it was sent with were missing, nothing expensive but I’m annoyed.
Buyer blamed the authenticator. Authenticator blamed the seller.
At this point I’ve now given up and just want it done so eBay refund the buyer from my eBay balance as I hadn’t touched the funds.
And my debit card.
And my credit card.

£4400 in total.

It’s taken a week to get it sorted. I’m now done selling on eBay. 25 years a seller. Hundreds of high value items and not one negative feedback.

Fuck you ebay. I hope you go under. My account is now deleted.

Potential watch scam how do we think this will end up?

I have been selling TAG Heuer watches on eBay for 15+ years.
I have never once sold a fake watch and have 100% feedback over 503 items.
I stopped 2 years ago as life got in the way.

This week I sold my first watch for ages.

TAG Heuer Monaco, boxed with service history from TAG themselves for £1900. I bought this myself new from TAG in 2012.

The buyer within seconds of paying was asking question after question, all of which the answers were in the description.

The watch went to the authenticator who confirmed it was real and also commented on it was in better condition than described.

Delivered to the buyer the next day.

10 days later I get a message saying he has taken it to TAG who have confirmed it is fake.
Now I know they don’t do this in store it has to be sent to them.

He also says the service history is fake. Even though I can provide screenshots from
My TAG account to prove otherwise.

He’s started a claim which has now been put on hold, I have no idea what his end game is on this.

Any thoughts?

1/4 chicken in chilli garlic and tomato sauce. Crushed new potatoes. Salad. All yellow ticket.

Whole chicken quartered and marinaded for 24 hours. Oven baked then finished on the bbq.

New potatoes boiled for 5 mins. Slightly crushed then drizzled in olive oil, salt pepper and rosemary then in the oven for 10 mins.

Salad out of the bag.

Salt and pepper were the only things not yellow ticket.

Did anyone else’s parents/grandparents have a bowl of this on their kitchen work top constantly?

What do I have here? 2 x 99p COOP reduced plants.

Picked these up for my bathroom, they seem to be doing ok but what are they?
