Made this holder as a gift including the knives. They might not be the fanciest but the recipients are still pleased. Holder is made from a rather burly piece of oak firewood, processed to a point where splinters are impossible (Sanding, brushing, sanding, oil finish). Knife slots are routed out and knifes are held with neodymium magnets. Base is aluminium underlayed with leather and a leather accent as a spacer. The back is all sanded smooth. To make it less of a dust magnet.

Hi. Wanted to know the common opinion and experiences of Renaults EDC transmission considering the double clutch. ChatGPT says that the clutch most likely goes bad with 120-180k km. Oldtimer mug. Here in Austria we have a highway rest stop franchise called "Oldtimer". They regularly bring out new mugs in this style. Always slightly different in rim shape and colour since they change manufacturers. But still matching. Just gives it that nice "vintage" touch. The paint is also a bit relieved and the ones I had basically for 15-20 years still look like new. I am just deeply in love with how they look and all the cool vecihcles they have on them. I think you can buy them either in the shop and by ordering hot beverages (as an option. Similar to mugs at christmas markets). Have to stop by again. My last finds are all thrifted.

Nachdem ein Miele C1 Bodenstaubsauger mit Turbobürste (unmotorisiert) und ein billiger Akkusauger von Discounter, Haare meines Amstaff nicht aus den Niederflorteppichen bekommen, wollte ich mal wissen ob jemand mit dem konkreten Beispiel und Akkusauger schon Erfolg hatte? Modell wäre interessant. Absoluter Härtetest, ich weiß. Bis jetzt half nur die gute alte Handarbeit mit Gummibürste.

Ich überleg ob ich in die Schichtarbeit wechsel. Das Gehalt bei einer Ausschreibung ist schon recht Attraktiv. Aber meine Sorge. Gesundheit im Schichtrad. Wie kommt ihr damit zurecht? Wie sieht euer Alltag im 3 oder 4-Schicht System aus? Ich kann mir darunter wenig vorstellen. Mich würden auch Erfahrungen von Menschen interessieren, die vorher Tagsüber auch nicht schlafen konnten. Ob sich das eingependelt hat. Gibt es vielleicht sogar schöne Seiten an der Schichtarbeit? Was sind die Abstriche?
