Going through a divorce. My ex stole a bunch of guns and NFA items in Feb. She stole one gun from my FFL. I reported everything contacted the ATF. Sheriff said it was a civil case and wouldn’t press charges.

That didn’t sound right so I contacted the attorney general to see if they can look into it.

Well last week the ATF contacted me for a trace for 4 firearms. One of them being the pistol she stole the others where hers. She didn’t the 4473.

What are the odds she does time and gets a record. I replied to the ATF informing them the one pistol was stolen by her. Police case number, ATF number etc.

Is the blue label system essentially an honor system I’m just curious what is stopping someone from buying two pistols have blue label cost at one blue label dealer and then going to another blue label dealer and getting two more, etc.

This is mainly for retired Military or LEO. Not the GSSF coupons.
