What are some of your frugal pro tips?

Pls share the best tips you know for saving money.

These are some things that I do:

  1. Use a LTF credit card for most spends like electricity bill, phone recharge, and online shopping so that it can earn 2-3% Cashback. 1% on all other transactions.

  2. Use a browser extension that shows the price history of a product in e-commerce sites. Looking at the trend of price changes, you can decide whether now is the best time to buy the product, or wait a week or two to get it at a lower price.

  3. The same browser extensions mentioned in pt.2 can also let you set a price alert. You'll receive an email when the product reaches a certain price. (I've found that this doesn't work 100% perfectly, it misses price drop sometimes)

  4. For sites like BigBasket / Myntra, instead of directly paying with CC or UPI, buy Gift Cards if they're available on discount. Recently got BigBasket Giftcard @ 3% discount, paid for it with my Credit Card, and got 2% cashback on that transaction, effectively giving me a ~4.9% discount.

  5. Extending pt.4, if you have ICICI or HDFC Credit card, they have their own Giftcard buying portals with good discounts. ICICI portal is called ishop and HDFC is smartbuy/gyftr.

  6. Since most of my spends are online these steps alone save me some money. If you pay using UPI a lot, there are specific credit cards that offer good cashbacks on all UPI transactions.

  7. If you don't want to get a separate CC for pt.6, then supermoney app will give a small amount of cashback on your existing UPI enabled bank account.

[michael manning] I’m delighted to share that I’ve begun a new challenge as Atlassian williamsf1team Team’s Chief Engineer

Trackside Engineering. Williams’ engineering heritage is among the most storied in Formula 1. With nine Constructors’ Championships and seven Drivers’ titles to its name, it remains one of the sport’s truly iconic teams. However, it is the ambition for the future that drew me to this role. There is a genuine hunger at Grove to return to the sharp end of the grid, and I am looking forward to ensuring the outstanding work at the factory translates into clinical execution at the circuit. Joining at such a significant point in the team’s journey, particularly as we approach Williams’ 50th anniversary, makes this opportunity even more meaningful. It’s a real highlight to be working alongside Carlos and Alex again, having crossed paths with both earlier in our careers. I am eager to get started and contribute to the next chapter of this legendary team.

Should posts directly from formula1 and formula dank be banned?

I mean, what's the point of this sub?

Just reposts from those 2 subs makes it seem like there's no need for a separate sub.

I mean, I saw my own meme that I posted in fdank being reposted here last week.
