Say goodbye to your peace and quiet, say goodbye to your drinking water, and say goodbye to ever getting a better GPU for your computer

I've been hearing people say that the Virtual Adepts would quietly be pro-AI, but honestly, I think they would be against it simply because it's causing the price of GPUs to balloon. How are they going to game when the best graphics cards cost as much as a kidney?

The more experienced players say this kind of interparty conflict is actually good Mechanically 😅

System: The Burning Wheel

Talking to these more experienced players, by acting on a PC's Beliefs they can earn Fate points which improve their odds on a dice test, and Persona points which can do a lot of things from adding extra die to a crucial roll to allowing a character to survival a Fatal Wound.

PCs having conflicting Beliefs means they can act, defend and promote those beliefs more regularly. Very excited to see how it all goes down! ☺️

Let's say War of the Worlds happened in WoD, what exactly would the Martians be and how were they actually defeated?

Were the Martians Bygones or Umbral Spirits born from colonialism? Or were they actual aliens from a different Tellurian? Was the disease wiped them out a form of Paradox, or were microbes not part of their Consensus back home?

Jokes aside, I actually think it's really cool that they include real, historical figures in these Chinese new year sets

BTW: Numinous Mushrooms are real things according to Daoist literature. They are said to glow, and if the theories of modern scholars are correct, they're hallucinogenic.
