I know this topic is incredibly cliché, but I genuinely want to get into these games so bad. I bought both games + DLC subscriptions, but I feel like getting into them is so daunting.

Like, I want to play, but I am afraid I'm gonna get stuck. I've played around 10 hours of HoI4 and only around 2 hours of Stellaris, and I understand some things, but it feels like I hit a brick wall after a while.

I have watched a few tutorials, but I feel like every time I play, I end up playing identically to them, rather than playing for myself.

I guess I would like to ask for advice on how to get into these games. I can probably brute force it until I know the mechanics, but I'd like to know if there's another way to play.

I’m not proud of the decisions I made my freshman year, but, well, I guess this is my consequence.

Throughout my entire freshman year, I completely slacked off and ended up with a 1.8 GPA and failing a class (which I took over the summer). Sophomore year, I really improved, with my two-semester averages being 3.8 and 3.5 (did pretty bad second semester) and raising my GPA to 2.75.

I've been really regretting and stressing over the decisions I made my freshman year, and I am concerned I won't be able to reach my target of a 3.5-3.6 GPA by the end of my senior year. I know my goal is not realistic, but I want something close to it at least.

For reference, I'm taking 1 AP class and 2 honors classes next year, alongside 2 other classes. (I'm planning to talk to my counselor when school starts up again to switch one of my honors to an AP).

I really don't know what I'm looking for in this post, reassurance? Guidance? I'm not sure, but I guess I would like some advice for my current situation.

Been getting sick of modern gaming, and want to go back to some classics. Anyone recommend me some cool 2000s games?

I'm really looking for anything. Simulation, Tycoons, RPGs, Indies, RTS, Story, doesn't really matter to me. Just good games!

I've also played all of the Bethesda RPGs, so be warned as I kind of expect to be recommend those a lot.

I recently got really into this game series, and have been meaning to play some mods. I already got The Dark Project and Black Parade installed, but I'm looking for more. Could anybody drop some recommendations? Also, I'm wondering how the community for this game is holding up. Any new mods coming out? Is the modding community big? Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I want to see this community thrive, as there is nothing really like these games.

I've been wanting to download Los Santos Red for a while now, but I can't find a new version of the Rage Plugin Hook. And more so, every time I downgrade the game and subsequently play it, I get the "Out of Memory" error. Could anyone help me out? I really want to play this mod.
