Anyone else facing issues with NBPDCL smart meters?

Bhai, mujhe kaafi time se lag raha hai ki NBPDCL smart meters mein kuch issue hai. Main joint family ke 3 CA numbers/meters manage karta hoon aur teeno ka bill/recharge dekhta hoon.

Example: is meter ka monthly average consumption sirf ~20 units hai, phir bhi reading 162 units tak pahunch gayi. September mein ₹100 recharge bhi kiya tha, phir bhi balance kuch hi din mein -₹700.08 ho gaya. Ye calculation samajh nahi aa rahi.

Complaint karna bhi difficult hai—app properly kaam nahi karta aur 1912 se bhi issue solve nahi hota. Smart meter lagne ke baad se mere saath multiple times aisa hua hai, aur kuch logon ke high reading ke issues bhi hain.

Bihar mein hi itne bade scale par implementation kyun kiya gaya jab system abhi bhi itna unreliable lag raha hai?

Kya kisi aur ko NBPDCL smart meter mein abnormal reading ya negative balance ka issue aa raha hai?

Reddit automatically logout multiple times in Android

I have observed for the last few days that this problem is happening, like within 48 hours, the app logs out 4 times even though I do clear the cache and the app is already up to date, but the issue persists

Darbhanga to New Delhi story

Booked 4 confirmed 1st AC tickets (full cabin), but due to a medical reason we had to travel with 5 people. Everything was going fine until Prayagraj, where the TTE arrived and informed us that the extra passenger would have to pay a ₹4255 penalty.

I said, "No problem sir, I'll pay via UPI." He generated a QR code on his device. I scanned it... Transaction failed. Tried again... failed. Tried from my father's phone... failed again. Around 5 attempts, same receiver bank issue every single time.

Then he asked for cash. We refused because we didn't have enough cash. Finally, the extra person said, "Theek hai sir, main sleeper coach chala jata hoon."

At that point, the TTE literally had no option left. 😅

The funny part? I wasn't happy because we saved money. I was happy because the TTE experienced the same frustration that lakhs of passengers face while booking Tatkal—payment issues, failed transactions, and a broken booking system. For once, the frustration was on the other side. 😁🚆

Planning a Vaishno Devi trip with my 85-year-old great grandmother — advice needed 🙏🏔️

Hi everyone, my cousin and I want to take our great grandmother to Vaishno Devi. She is around 85, but still quite fit for her age and can walk. She has already visited many major temples across India, but Vaishno Devi was always missed because of her age and a leg condition. This trip means a lot to her, and we really want to make it happen.

We are planning to travel from Darbhanga, Bihar, and I was thinking about going in December. Is that a good month for weather and crowds, or is another month better?

Also, I would really appreciate advice on:

whether a wheelchair would be useful for her

where to stay

how difficult the walk/route is

the best way to manage the journey with an elderly person

Any tips from people who have been there would help a lot.

Is there any way to use mock location without apps detecting Developer Options? (No root)

I use a mock location app for testing and privacy purposes. The problem is that enabling mock locations requires turning on Developer Options, and many apps can detect that Developer Options are enabled. Some apps even restrict features or flag the device because of it.

Is there any reliable method to:

Prevent other apps from detecting that Developer Options are enabled?

Or temporarily hide/bypass the Developer Options status while using mock location?

Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.

Planning a single room on my rooftop in India. What should I consider before construction?

This is the layout of our house (ground floor is almost complete). In a few days, the roof slab will be finished, and later we'll build one room on the rooftop. This will be my room whenever I visit my hometown.

I don't have much experience with house design, so I'd like advice before construction starts.

Things I'm thinking about:

- Summers here get very hot, so how can I keep the room cooler?

- Best room size and layout?

- Should I add a small attached bathroom or leave space for future expansion?

- Any mistakes people commonly regret when building a rooftop room?

The plot layout is attached. I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas before we finalize the design.

DU 2025 Batch -Promotion Rule Doubt

Seniors, help needed.

Main B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics (2025 batch) ka student hoon. Mere calculation ke hisaab se Sem 1 + Sem 2 mila ke 24 credits secure hain.

Mera GE mein IA = 0, TU = 0 show ho raha hai, but theory mein 45+/90 expect kar raha hoon. Agar ye 4 credits mil jaate hain to shayad 28-credit criteria complete ho jaye, warna nahi.

Doubts:

  1. Agar 28 credits se kam rahe aur promotion na mile to exact process kya hota hai?

  2. 3rd sem classes July end se start hongi, result August mein aayega. Kya classes attend karni chahiye?

  3. Last year promotion relaxation September mein aayi thi. Kya is saal bhi chances hain?

Agar kisi senior ne similar case face kiya ho ya official info ho, please guide.
