So im considering upgrading the mic setup for both my wife and I. We have two desk side by side and i was considering upgrading to two pod mics one for me one for my wife but I was sure if we would run into problems with echoes. So I guess my question is if we were both using our microphones at the same time would there be a high chance of echo with us being about 3-6 ft from each other?

Ok so i have 2 younger brother 10 and 13, who enjoy stranger things and in turn become interested in DnD. They have recently asked me if I could teach them how to play and possibly DM for them. Which I don't have a problem with I have played DnD on and off since I was their age (28 now) and feel I could show them a good time. My problem is I noticed the Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club is only levels 1-3, Vecna: Nest of the Eldritch Eye is level 3, and Vecna: Eve of Ruin is 10-20. I was curious on what the community would suggest to fill in the missing levels. I've considered starting with Welcome to the hellfire club to teach them the basics and how to play. Then go into the prequel. Followed by doing a "memory wipe" erasing their characters memory and starting them over at level 1 and starting Tombs of Annihilation and then going into Eve of Ruin. Is this a bad idea or would it work and keep the joy and interest high.
Im currently prepping for a campaign for a group of 5 players some 1 is completly new to dnd, 2 have played baldurs gate 3, and 2 have played a couple one shots. After having a session 0 asking what they are comfortable with dos and don't, expectations etc.. they told me they aren't comfortable with permadeath for their characters. Understanding this im not 100% sure how to handle this.
Should I give everyone a revivify scroll like baldurs gate or should I offer some sort of revive with consequences?
Im thinking of giving my players the option to become a
Vampire with the condition that only one can take on the curse by drinking a "potion". The catch though is once the party reaches the castle to fight Strahd the PC who is a vampire will feel a strong urge, upon seeing Strahd he feels compelled to betray the party and side with Strahd. Strahd laughs and tells the party that by drinking his blood the PC has essentially become his thrall. In order to fight this the PC must pass a skill check each turn in order resist Strahds control.
I intend on warning the party that by ingesting the potion there could be dire consequences they may regret.
Is this a dumb idea that could backfire terribly?
Im looking for a new scope for my 270 wsm and i want to stick with a 1" tube so I don't have to get new rings. I've heard leupold is the way to go so I'm thinking of picking up a Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40mm but wasn't sure if they are worth it. Ill be hunting under 400 yards and i don't need anything super fancy. I also have a vortex diamond back 3-9, but I've been told leupold has better glass and quality.
I ordered a Strike Eagle 1-8 FFP lpvo on a deep discount sub $400 from a reputable source, but I received the SFP version instead. I'll be returning and asking for a replacement. If I end up with another SFP version should I cut my loses and keep it or would the SFP be worth it for for sub 500 yards shots?

Hi I've recently purchased the Curse of Strahd bundle after it was voted on by my group. I created a mock campaign, but I noticed there's no premade maps, script, or anything aside from the Death House included am I missing something, or do I need to create all the maps?

Hi everyone after having my first kid my wife and I are getting back into hiking. We opted for a osprey poco carrier but we aren't sure what the pest way to carry water is. We normally go on 5-10 mile hikes with water bladders. Would a water bottle just be better or has anyone had experience with a child carrier plus bladder.
Im sorry but I can't remember will. Pistol mags over 10 be banned or just long guns? My wife is getting into guns now and I need to pick up some more mags but not sure if I should just focus on long guns for now.
