I have run into a string of MTA employees and passengers being absolute pricks about my kid’ stroller on the bus over the last couple of weeks. He has as much right to be on the bus as any of you. The stroller does not take up any more room in the aisle than a person standing in the aisle does. Folding up the types of strollers that the vast majority of people actually use will make them more difficult to get out of the way, not less. All of these people had attitudes on half full buses where there were plenty of open seats. they need to get rid of this half asses requirement entirely. I’m sick of people feeling like they can hold it over me

intimidating looking person the only one in the playground, and I did not want to risk a confrontation. as a result, my kid can’t play. what can I do? is this a 911 call or something else.

should add there were MANY free benches available DIRECTLY outside playground gates. This person clearly decided to be in the playground specifically

referring obviously to the actual zoo staff, as no one would think office support staff need to shower after work etc

It’s loud enough you’ll be able to talk over it, but only if you focus on raising your voice.

looking to enroll my child in 2K and looking for some guidance. First off it seems we can only apply to family childcare centers. I’m a bit confused by these. All they list is a persons name and address. Am I supposed to just drop my kid off at some rando‘s house? Are these legit? And if this is how it works and it’s not actually insane to do this at all, how am I supposed to find out anything about their qualifications or philosophy since again, MySchools gives no information besides a name and address?

has anyone used one of these and can recommend anyone? our kid is very very big and active so the two top priorities are a place that can handle a kid like that + no screens

honestly finding trash at all in the playground sucks. but yesterday it was multiple plastic bags and hundreds of pieces of popped and shredded balloons. that stuff is seriously dangerous for a substantial number of playground users. normally there’s a good vibe there so let's please keep it that way and keep things safe and clean for everyone

was requested to do a job test that took me a minimum of 12 hours of labor. Then ghosted. In the “test” I created IP of substantial value to them listing out an entire strategy for growth and several original ideas. I would like to bill for this and attempt to collect.
