I can’t tolerate thyroid meds, tried splitting the lowest dose on levoxyl tried splitting the lowest dose of armour. I feel like it just builds up in my body my chest hurts my heart pounds head pressure anxiety. I give up im so emotionally drained this is ruining my life. This has been on going for more than two years. My ferritin is low and i am working on it taking 60 mg every other day. Can anyone recommend something? Thanks
I want to share my experience so that someone who has this issue knows its from the antibiotics & maybe it will help. I had to take an antibiotic for surgery precautionary. I took 500 mg 2x a day for 4 days. At first I had issues falling asleep but i chalked it up to discomfort from my surgery/ anesthesia. Well that lasted 3 days. I could not fall asleep no matter what and I never had that issue before in my life. I wasnt taking anything else besides tylenol by this time. I was having crying spells randomly and the worst headache of my LIFE. It was a throbbing fire pain that was pressure in the back of my head that was a 7/10. Not only that but my whole body was vibrating from the base of my beck into my head and it was visible in my hands. Why? Because cefadroxil revs up your central nervous system. I think if it got any worse I would have went to the ER. I was icing my head crying and tylenol would not touch this headache at all! Alarming. Then not connecting the dots I took another pill late at night. That sent me into over drive & I figured it out shortly after. I became restless and wired within 1 hour. I was rocking back and forth and could not sit in one spot but in my mind I wanted to go to sleep. When I wanted to go to sleep I would lay down and close my eyes drift off then jolt back awake. There was zero sleep in sight. The anxiety depression and panic creeped in. It was a horrible experience while trying to heal from surgery. Im still dealing with the side effects I started a probiotic daily and drinking a lot of liquids to flush my body. When i told the dr that this medication did this to me he said no way and brushed it off. But yes it does it is listed as a side affect so do your research insomnia is a side affect of many antibiotics. Most drs dont know the side effects they just write the script. Its been crazy and im still not great but i hope this helps someone looking for answers.
Wow no one told me it was going to be like this. Wow wow wow. Excuse my rant, but wtf! Everyone told me oh youll be fine just take tylenol! Oh um NO! Im on day 5 and my head and body are still throbbing i just can barely speak and i have not slept. Oh also i cant go bathroom because of the drugs! The dr told me to stop taking the medication because it was making me loopy…. Which it was. He told me to stick to tylenol every 4 hours. It feels like i have the flu i can not breathe out of my nose AT ALL im so imflamed and nothing really helps. I wish i would have known but this is the most difficult thing i have ever gone through. My head feel like it can explode and my nose just leaks and leaks, yes i spoke to the dr he basically told me its all going to be ok! Yipeeeee im losing it i have not slept but in so tired plz help LOL.
Ferritin was a 9, took 25mg of thorne for 2 months it got up to a 20….. is my dose enough? Im 32 130 lbs. i suffer from heavy periods and hashimotos.
Chest pain and tightness after working out & eating im so freaking tired as well. Sensitive to caffeine. Heart has been just pounding. This sucks really bad does anyone know when this is going to get better?? I was taking too much armour thyroid ;(
I just mopped the floors cleaned the bathroom. The apartment smells like chemicals so i opened the doors & windows to air out the apartment. Boyfriend comes home says hello wow its cold in here! I said yes i just mopped the floors so it stinks just leave the doors open for a few minutes. Right away he gets annoyed & sits on the couch in his DIRTY SCRUBS on purpose! I said what are you doing?! He goes well its cold in here and you wont shut the door! Literally 5 minutes? Im so confused on this behavior! Then he says i cleaned when it was inconvenient for him & i should have cleaned another time?! This is a true story& i cant believe this is my life right now! Also its 65 degrees outside!

Hey have any of you actually called your dr and asked for an increase before the 6 week mark? I had to i started off on a really low dose to begin with 15 mg of armour because im sensitive then i went to 30 and then i called after two weeks and asked for a slight increase to 45mg. I did blood work just to play it safe my tsh went from a 9 to 6.83 my t3 and t4 were in range but very low. Im just paranoid but i literally can not function i lay on the couch all day sleeping!
