Person kontaktieren

Spotify songs

Eminem has 10+

50 has 4, and another one that’s almost reached the milestone

Jay-Z has 3

2Pac has 2

Kanye West, like Eminem, also has 10+

And Lil Wayne, if I’m not mistaken, has 2;

songs on Spotify that have reached over 1 billion streams or views.

And the new generation Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake, who’s a hitmaker anyway probably also have 10+ > songs that have reached over 1 billion streams.

My question is: why does Wayne have hardly any songs that have reached 1-2 billion streams?

I mean, Eminem and Wayne are from almost the same era the 2000s and so is Kanye.

Nachbarn habt Ihr keine.

In welcher Wohnung würdet Ihr eher leben?

https://preview.redd.it/2yxalzf3tbgh1.jpg?width=1468&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=49e4738f9479b69ccd892f0acbc8c6a64fdad315

https://preview.redd.it/798c9x2ltcgh1.jpg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=15515d254b712cea709f1a7179533b7479979528

Das gleiche mit mit ,,High-Proteien“Skyr

Beispiel Ehrmann

,,High-Protein“-Skyr mit 9g Eiweiß pro 100g für 1,99€

Ja Skyr Natur 10,6g Eiweiß pro 100g - Kein ,,High-Protein“ für 1,29-1,49€ - vor 2020 hätte es bestimmt 89 Cent gekostet.

Quereinstieg > Handwerk?

heruntergefahren,

in anderen Ländern verlagert

https://preview.redd.it/stism3m020gh1.png?width=1400&format=png&auto=webp&s=1aee0db22e624675e224625d02231a85e95de966

https://preview.redd.it/p1u7wlje20gh1.jpg?width=727&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ae75488a53e0293bc31ddbc41c78613812627f2a

Fall 1 ;

Fall 2 ;

Meine Frage ist ;

The (Down)Fall of 50 Cent

In the 2000s, 50 Cent was one of the four biggest and most successful rappers alongside Eminem, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne in terms of commercial success, RIAA certifications, and albums and hits.

Alternatively, one could also include Jay-Z, who albeit several years before the early 2000s had been releasing albums on an annual basis since 1996 and enjoying success, as well as Nelly, who had three albums that literally went through the roof in the early 2000s one of which even achieved Diamond status and the other two went multi-platinum.

Many rappers either had their musical breakthrough or reached their peak during this time including the four artists mentioned above.

After releasing a few self-produced mixtapes and dealing with personal issues, the already successful rapper Eminem who by that time had already experienced an insane and meteoric rise, along with setting records that remain unbroken even today, over 20-23 years later such as the fastest-selling hip-hop/ rap album with 1.76M/1.3M first-week sales, plus two albums that achieved Diamond status namely, the best-selling hip-hop albums in hip-hop history and immediately signed him to a contract.

In just a few months,

Get Rich or Die Tryin[Febuary 2003]

was created;

it was released in February 2003 and turned 50 Cent into a million-seller and hitmaker overnight.

By the end of the year, it had sold over 6M copies, including 872k in the first week and 822k in the second week meaning that in the first two weeks alone, sales totaled nearly 1.7M, well over 1 million.

Overall, the album sold between 13 until 15.6M copies well over 10 million with 9 million in the U.S. alone, and it even went multi-platinum in the UK, for example.

One single from the album even achieved Diamond status, which signifies 10 million sales a feat very few artists can claim.

Many artists reach about half that at their peak roughly 3- to 5x platinum.

Some artists don’t reach their peak or achieve a full breakthrough until their second, third, or even fourth album years after their first. Take Lil Wayne, for example, who released his third album as early as late 1999, 2000, and 2002, but only gradually gained nationwide recognition and achieved greater reach and commercial success with his fourth and fifth albums in 2004 and late 2005.

But that's just one small example.

The album also had 2-3 other hits, each of which went 3-5x platinum.

Two years passed, and in 2005, the second major album,

The Massacre[March 2005]

, was released.

It was literally just as successful as its predecessor.

By the end of the year, over 5M albums had been sold in the U.S., and 9 million overall 6 million of which were in the U.S. with 1.1M units sold in the first week alone, which is an incredibly massive impact.

In the UK, the album went 3x Platinum and sold nearly 1 million units.

Another 2.5 years passed, and for promotional purposes, they met with another artist who was also planning to release his third album on September 11, 2007, and a sort of competition began to see which album would perform better commercially in its first week.

On September 11, 2007,

Curtis

50 Cent’s third album, and Graduation, Kanye’s third album,

were released.

In its first week, it sold 957k almost 1M and

50 Cent’s

Curtis

sold 691k which is actually still relatively good after all, it went gold within the first week of release for 500k+ sales.

However, this marked the beginning of a literal downfall.

By September 2008 that is, within the first year they had sold a total of about 3M units, 1.3M of which were in the U.S.

Actually, I think 1.3 million albums sold by the end of the year or rather, by the end of 2007 in the U.S. and 3 million overall are relatively solid numbers, especially when you consider that they had literally gone through the roof before not just once, but twice.

After all, the album was released in mid-September 2007 and had already sold over 1 million or 1.2 to 1.3M in about 3.5 months by the end of the year.

If another million units had been sold by the end of 2008, the total would have been around 2 to 2.3 million, which would correspond to double platinum and would also be solid.

The typical two-year cycle passed, just as it had the two times before, and

in mid-November 2009,

50 Cent’s penultimate album,

Before I Self Destruct

was released an album that was, in every respect, a pale imitation of its two predecessors.

It went gold for over 500k sales, selling 160k copies in its first week and around 1M copies overall.

After that, things went very quiet for a while regarding new albums, because the next album wasn’t released two years later like the previous ones, but about 4.5 years later, in early June 2014.

And normally, 4-4.5 years should be enough time to produce a solid album or reinvent oneself musically; not a terrible album that marks another downfall, nor an S-Tier/classic album, but simply a solid A-tier album that goes double platinum after 1-2 years, features two solid hit singles, and perhaps enters the debate for “Best Hip-Hop Album of the Year.”

Overall, the artist should have sold around 30-35 million units across their albums and singles, which is relatively high and impressive equating to an average of 6-7 million sales per album over five albums.

Some sources even report sales of ~56M almost 60M albums/singles, which is also impressive and would have averaged 10-11M.

But perhaps the worldwide sales figures, at 56 million, are actually closer to 60 million, with 30–35 million of those in the U.S.

Which is also really impressive, considering there are 4–5 albums.

If he’d had another 2-3 big hits, he would have easily reached 65-70M maybe even 70-75M in sales.

Of course, it’s clear that not every album is going to be an S-tier or classic album,

but my question to you is:

Do you think 50 Cent would have remained musically relevant for longer if he had evolved or reinvented himself musically over the years?

Overall, though, you have to say that 50 had an incredibly meteoric rise and was one of the biggest rap artists of the 2000s especially in the first half of the decade, from around 2003 to early 2006.

After all, he had three albums, two of which literally went through the roof, and the third one wasn’t bad either.

My opinion:

For example, after their third album, which came out in 2007, they could have released their next album in 2011 instead of 2009 and used that time to reinvent themselves musically.

So, new sounds maybe a little less gangsta rap and more of that killer rap from the late 2000s, more R&B and pop sounds in other words, more diversity and variety in their sound, and also collaborations with smaller pop artists without coming across as a Kanye or Wayne 2.0 in terms of sound and production.

Artists who are comparable in sound and music to Alicia Keys or Rihanna, but just smaller, lesser-known artists.

But what’s your take on 50 Cent’s downfall?

Would a change in sound have kept him musically relevant for longer?

Let’s talk about one of the most beautiful zones a Top-3 zone: Mulgore

Azeroth has many beautiful areas and zones, such as Winterspring, Uldum, and Mulgore.

Mulgore is definitely one of the top three areas and simply the best starting zone in WoW history.

There are beautiful, sprawling meadows,

the entrance to the Darkmoon Faire every few weeks,

and three central locations: >

Camp Narache,

Bloodhoof Village, and

Thunder Bluff with its iconic elevators.

Unfortunately, the area is actually relatively deserted.

Sometimes I just hang out there, and it feels more like a ghost town.

But there are actually ways and ideas to breathe some life back into this beautiful zone at least for 1-2 years, but definitely for 5-6 months.

I’m a WoW Retail player, and maybe there are others here who play Retail and remember the Zaralek Cavern in DF, which was added to the game later on.

In some places, there are small hidden caves and mines, such as at 31.27.31.11 > The Pools of Visions near the Hill of Ghosts

You could place a similar cave entrance at one location, connected by a tunnel leading to a large underground cave one that’s roughly the same size as Zaralek Cavern, where you can do World Quests.

A cave located beneath Mulgore.

Another concept that could also be used and is featured in the current expansion is to revamp Mulgore, like Silvermoon, during an expansion and make it the current capital for the duration of that expansion

But what do you think?

And what’s your favorite zone, and why?

What are your Top Tomb Raider Hottake? TR AoD iIt's better than you think!

I’ll start with two that always come to mind right away...

Tomb Raider VI: AoD isn’t as bad as people often say, and it’s actually pretty solid.

It’s definitely better than its predecessor and actually has a good storyline especially because it was the first time I felt like Lara had a real personality.

Before that, she always seemed to me like she was effortlessly superior to everything without any weaknesses, but in AoD, it felt different to me...

I’d say, give the game six more months of development time and release it instead of mid-2003 somewhere between spring 2004 and fall 2004, around September, October, or November 2004 for the holiday season, and it would definitely have become a top-tier Tomb Raider game, been 2-2.5 times as successful, and built on its past successes.

I say release the game once it’s fully developed, with solid controls and a solid storyline for example, in November for the 2004 holiday season or in the spring of 2004 and start a strong promotional campaign 3 months beforehand.

Boom immediately +1 million sales maybe even ~1.5 million; after 1 year, 4 million; and after 2.5-3 years, about 6-7 million overall, of which the 2.5 million it has reached to date would come in the first 5-12 months.

The Tomb Raider Classic era accounted for 90% of Tomb Raider’s peak period and is better than the 2010s Tomb Raider reboot series.

I’ve been playing Tomb Raider for a very long time since my early teens, to be exact which was decades ago.

I also played the later installments from the 2000s TRL, TRU, and TRA which I wrote about a few months ago.

I played them back when TRL, TRU, and TRA were still current, and they didn’t captivate me as much as the predecessors from the Classic era/Classic series.

TRL and TRU never really grabbed me that much.

Sure, with TRL, almost the entire game or rather, the IP was revamped in terms of

Lara’s mechanics, the gameplay mechanics, and so on but I don’t think the story is any good.

For one thing, it’s not good, and for another, it could have easily been a bit longer.

No, not a 10-year trilogy, but maybe 13-15 levels or so.

I warmed up to TRU even less; I don’t know what it is, but it just doesn’t have that certain something that the previous games had...

How good is 21 Savage overall, in terms of albums and production?

Out of curiosity, I took a look at a few community tier lists, and I’m honestly a bit speechless not in a negative way, but not in a positive way either.

Here’s a community tier list it’s NOT my own.

The question I’m asking myself now is how good 21 Savage is overall objectively speaking.

Why overall?

Well, I mean, it’s definitely possible to rank or evaluate something objectively to a certain extent.

For example, you can objectively say that Kanye is on a completely different level than Lil Pump, or that 50 Cent is overall lower-tier than Drake...

My question is: how good is

21 Savage overall

I actually listen to some of his songs myself but I wouldn’t know how good he is objectively

He’s been rapping for at least 10 years, released his first album in July 2017, followed by his second album about 1.5 years later, and then ~6 years later came his third album, *American Dream*—which is really quite a long time to wait 5-6 years for something new aside from collabs.

In mid-December 2025, the fourth album was released unexpectedly, without much promotion or months of advance notice just under two years after the third album.

There have been three collaboration albums since October 2017, one of which was with the very successful Drake.

His solo albums mostly went 1x platinum, which in itself isn’t anything extraordinary every artist often goes 1x platinum these days.

In my opinion, he didn’t have any albums that really blew up, but Change my mind.

But what do you think?
