So I formed my rock band one year ago. And recently joined a music interest group where there are spin-off bands coming out from this interest group. While my own band is a casual, chill band that plays for fun, the spin-off bands have been going and looking for gigs and open mics everywhere and even set up their own social media channels. I don't want to feel left out so I set up my band's insta as well, and follow alot of local musical bands. As if that is not enough, I also started going all out to find out open mics and gigs for my band to play. I am exhausted. I feel like my band's progress is so slow compared to the other spin-off bands that have been playing and securing gigs everywhere. Like wtf, my band is formed earlier than them but didn't consider performing until recently.

I see the success of other bands and can't help but feel a sense of self-pity. Is my feelings of envy, jealousy and self-pity justified ? Or it should never be this way ? I should be happy for them and mind my own band's business. I feel the competition here.

I have tried force stop or put on aeroplane mode etc but when i open my insta acct the uploading auto start again. How to stop it.

my keyboardist suggest L.O.V.E by frank sinatra. I have no idea except typical Fly me to the moon, autumn leaves. Don't want to bore ppl out. Help suggest 'newer' songs for a beginner jazz band made up of novice jazz player (trying to play jazz)

So my siblings and me have been contributing monthly allowance for my aged parent. My aged parent has been squandering most of the home allowance and my sister as been pressuring me and my other brother to give more monthly allowance. I told my sister I don't earn much and only willing to give so much money monthly.

Today my sister keep asking me to add some more money to the contribution because my parent and the maid have 'no money' to buy meals. Talks as if they are spending on Michelin dishes ? So my sister said even if i added more money to the contribution still not enough. And she keep emphasizing how low her salary is currently and how much she contributed previously to the household. But mind you, I don't earn much so how can she compare in this way ? She has a Honours degree and I only have high school cert.

And I was getting frustrated so I spam the family group chat with these words "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH'

Today she removed me from the group chat. I don't think I want to ever talk to her anymore.

No more trying to negotiate and crawl back to the family group chat cos my request is not respected.

Am I wrong ? I also have other commitments and my mental health is not that great.
