When you have phone anxiety and auditory processing/hearing issues and the person on an important phone call has a heavy accent.
No hate on people from different countries. I just struggle to process certain accents.

An ex friend of mine has been eagerly wanting to play a video game with me and bought one I was playing. Since starting it he would eagerly ask to play with me every day and the one the first night I wasn't available to because I was out all day he got really pissed off. He apologized the next day but I was hoping it was just being in a bad mood and accidentally taking it out on people he cares about. Once again he begs to play and we do along with a friend of mine. He was having occasional connectivity issues but he kept trying and we were being patient with him. One time my friend started up a quest and invited me plus my ex friend that he wanted to join. Unfortunately we overlooked the level requirements and ex friend wasn't able to join so he logged out feeling pissed off again. I messaged him apologizing that it was a mistake and we'd like to help him level up to prevent that oversight again. It didn't happen and he stopped responding for hours. Suddenly at two in the morning he kept voice calling me on my phone (three times) and got angry when I wouldn't answer. I finally got to check my phone and he was pissed off that we apparently abandoned him in the game and took something I said as an insult. All I said was I hope he's enjoying the game he bought to play with me otherwise that would be a shame for him to buy a game he doesn't like. I explained once again that there was zero malicious intent only mistakes and misunderstandings. He got angry again and said "I'm not reading anything you said." This man is in his 30s and I'm not bothering with someone who has this severe of emotional regulation issues so I ended up blocking him.
I've always struggled with people asking me to do things and the more it's asked the more it pisses me off so I don't want to do it. It makes friendships a struggle because if they ask too often to do something specific together I get really annoyed and hate the idea of it now. Is this a neurodivergent problem or am I an asshole? How do I fix this? 😭
Yes my mother made me often afraid of her and I feel bad about myself because of the things she said but isn't that what parents do when you're punished or angry with you? They also claimed I was neglected because my mother spent most of her time at home watching tv and not playing/interacting with me but are parents really supposed to do that? My dad when he was alive would play with me and my mom made fun of him saying it was childish and I should be playing with kids my age. My mom was tired and raised my brother and I on her own since I was eight years old so maybe I would have been happier if I helped her out more or comforted her more. I don't want to think that of my mother she's the only parent I have left. I would much rather blame myself than her but I don't know if that's the right thing to do. Should I apologize to her for being so difficult to take care of or making her upset all the time? I don't know where to go from here.
Even the smallest sizes are too loose. They help my hands at least.
I made a thread before about giving monster hunter another chance (returning from Tri) and making my palaco after my beautiful Tabitha who passed away last year. I'm hunter level 156 now and I have to say it was emotionally hard at first but overtime I was laughing and smiling seeing her feel alive again. I know it's not really her but I feel like I can spend time with her and I'll have wonderful memories of her kicking ass. Thank you for your love and support in my previous post. You guys are great.
For example friends will ask me to play a game with them but I really don't want to because I'm hyperfixated on a different one. The idea of playing a different one sounds like mental agony. It's even more troubling if I'm playing a single player game. I don't care if the game they want to play is free I'm not playing it right now. Forcing myself to play with them is fun for them but sucks for me. 😭 Is that so wrong?
I rarely enjoy actively doing something with a person. I like to do something individually while my friend does the same nearby. Doing something like for example playing a video game with them just seems mentally exhausting because it's never anything I want to play but I do it anyway because it'd make them happy. They're having fun but I'm constantly wondering when it'll be over. I can't find a way to spend time with someone without having my social battery completely depleted. Maybe I just haven't found the right activity but I don't know. Am I just comparable with no one?
Are you ready to go hunting bigger prey Tabitha?
I love the aesthetics of both, I have a rough idea of what the combat is like, and I'm completely blind to the story. Also I have completed Koudelka and I will be playing the original version of Baten Kaitos. I will eventually play both but I am indecisive on which one first. Either way I'm itching to play a jrpg with a really cool vibe. Yes I know the English voice acting of Baten Kaitos is one of the worst but isn't that part of the appeal of playing a game of this era? I know Koudelka had rough voice acting but I don't know for Shadow Hearts.
First when they came up they said working on it would take a few days but instead it took well over a week before they were done. After that our Internet has been worse and cuts out every time it rains for several hours, sometimes the whole day. We called for someone to come over and look at it but they claim nothing is wrong. Many people here have complained but they don't seem concerned about it cutting out. I would have switched to a different internet provider but I live in a rural area so I don't have many options and they might be the only one here. I'm sure they messed something up but no one knows what and they won't do much about it. It's spring here so it's going to rain a lot meaning we've barely had any internet all month.
