This is the most disgusting creature I've ever seen...
Disgusting. What even is that? This pulsing, choking, diabolical jaundiced tumor of a creature shouldn't be acceptable rolling around here. This just looks like an overgrown, cancerous, dusty, musty, mutated cell that lost it's non existant mind in mitosis and got hit by a Tesla as soon as it poured outta wherever the hell it came from. It's got no face, no dignity, and absolutely no evolutionary purpose at all, this belongs in a bio engineering lab garbage can rather than NMS, not even that, that is a diss to bio labs, that belongs in the hellish diabolical depths of a regular school bathroom. This is just miserable. When it's Christmas, I'm giving Santa Claus a wish to make these filthy, disgusting tumors extinct. How in the hell does the Atlas even come up with this?

Cosmos may be a surprise update...
HEAR ME OUT, INTERLOPERS. Sean Murray and Hello Games usually drop their updates and patches on Wednesday, and we never got an emoji. There could be a genuine chance that Cosmos is a surprise drop, and my basis is that: it may be tommorow.
Since Sean hasn't dropped his emoji, and tomorrow is Wednesday, there may be a chance. Now, I'm obviously not saying that it is guaranteed, but it adds up to the elements of a surprise drop. And even after 10 years of the exact same emoji hype cycle, we've all solved the formula: an emoji equals an update. If Sean wanted a genuine surprise update, he would HAVE to change the rules. Dropping it out of nowhere on a Wednesday without any sort of warning would literally achieve exactly what he would have wanted, if that was his pla. Once again, I'm not saying that there is a 100% chance, but HG usually drops their updates on Wednesday, emoji or not.
Most major updates have all been dropped out on Wednesdays, which means our evidence on the update being tommorow is pretty well founded. If Sean wanted to surprise drop an update, skipping the emoji would literally be his first step. We've all been tracking Wednesday, September 2, 2026 as the prime target for Cosmos to drop, literally tommorow as I post this. If a surprise drop happens, then the internal countdown is already ticking down its final hours, and we have to get ready.
The PC dataminers on this sub watch SteamDB like hawks. Usually, the files update a ton before a few hours before a patch or update, which is HG testing the actual update builds. If Sean wanted to go silent to drop the update, he'd still have to ping Valve, and that would unfortunately ruin his entire plan if he wanted to be sneaky. If those remain dead silent up until tomorrow morning, a delay is more likely than a drop. If Steam's a ghost town tommorow, then there's probably no Cosmos.
And even if HG / Sean wants to surprise us, they're at the mercy of PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo's certification pipelines. If they want a surprise update, they would have to go through the big leagues first, and dataminers can probably track that. I'm not a dataminer myself, but I'm assuming there's some way to track it. Surprise drops are also difficult to sync across multiple platforms simultaneously without something happening, such as an error. This is why I never said that it's guaranteed.
Now, there isn't a 100% chance but Cosmos may be tommorow. Wednesday and no emojis from Sean add up to a surprise drop. We're counting on the dataminers, and all the other console theorists out there. Hang in there, Cosmos. We're gonna find out on Wednesday.

What exactly is a Reployer?
After reading through many audio and text logs onboard Talos 1, and going through our blueprint database, we at TranStar Corporation are happy to announce its true purpose.
We have the answer everyone has been waiting for. The truth must be revealed!
It is a device
A Reployer is a device found all around TranStar facillities, such as Talos 1 and Pytheas. The exact purpose of the device is unknown as even TranStar's Board of Directors and TranStar Engineering cannot tell what it is.
The start of the confusion
The confusion all started when our Neuroscientist employee, Dayo Igwe, the bald man, sent an email to Jorgen Thorstein, one of our Site Directors, however Igwe requested an engineer to detail its purpose. In a similar event, Gus Magill and Lane Carpenter argued about it's true purpose within cargo bay, when one got shipped and scanned through there, however even Carpenter did not know it's purpose.
Recycler charge experiment by Morgan Yu
Morgan Yu bravely tested the Reployer by throwing a Recycler Charge (A device that summons a miniature black hole, and science inevitably turns it into Fabricator material within 5 seconds.) at it, and the materials were processed into Synthetic Materials, and Mineral Materials, both of which can be used within a Fabricator Device on board both TranStar facilities Talos 1 and Pytheas.
Modeled after ancient 1960s technology
After using TranStar's digital processing and sorting software on the TranStar Blueprint models, Reployers are actually modeled on the 1965 IBM 2540 card read/punch, which was a device for System and 360 mainframes. It read standard 80-column punched cards at 1,000 cards per minute and punched new cards at 300 cards per minute, however TranStar has likely modified and improved the blueprint for their standards.
It is not a spy device!
Speculation has risen upon Talos 1 that Reployers are spy machines used by the TranStar board of directors, however we have confirmed that it is entirely false. Or is it...
So what is a Reployer?
After all of our research, from interviewing the TranStar Board of Directors, to using sorting programs to sort through Reployer blueprints, it is confirmed that a Reployer is...a Reployer. It will always be a Reployer and stay forever a Reployer.
Lazy summary
To summarize: a Reployer is a Reployer, and absolutely, certainly, positvely not a spy machine or a mimic, and will forever and always be a Reployer, and will be nothing but a Reployer, but will never be a Deployer. Thank you for joining TranStar today, assuming that we survive tomorrow.
