Barbara Howard in 2 Broke Girls!

Barbara Howard in 2 Broke Girls!

Been seeing socmed clips of 2 broke girls for so long and decided to check the shiw out. Currently 3 seasons in and obsessed with the show and was surprised to see Ms. Sheryl Lee Ralph as Deke's mom! Was a bit of a mindfuck bc she had the same annunciations, dictions and expressions as Barbara lol, guess that's just how Miss Ralph speaks/acts in real life.

Her character was a rich, classy, pop art style loving mother, who was actually a poor stripper from Brooklyn before she met her husband. Had to rewatch the part where she referred to herself as a "rich bitch!" 🤣

Traffic at Bev rancocas road, willingboro

Not sure what happened, lots of police and seems like it has to do with the long truck.

Exit to willingboro is backed up on 295, be careful! Police is currently directing traffic.

update: holy shit. first time seeing a wrecked car. seems like a car tried to beat a red light, or was going too fast or was trying to turn right and collided with the truck or the under end of the truck. Or vice versa. please be safe, do not beat red lights, always yield to vehicles larger than yours.

Msg exclusive merch

Was wondering if anyone knows if the boys will have MSG exclusive merch? Or would it just be merch from their online shop.

Need to prepare, bc though we knew Louis Tomlinson would have MSG merch (and the designs were SOOO worth it!), he ended up also having a litho poster which was sold out right away. And he had cute paper bags to put the items you got in, which was sold out as well.

And will there also be merches on each floor/concourse? Seeing as for Louis i lined up at the lobby and it was PACKED AF. But getting inside i saw there were other stands selling the same merch and not crowded at all.

Toddler experiences (gift cards)

Niece is turning 3 next week and while I do have some gifts planned, parents are choosy with gifts and would rather experiences as gifts. Plus I live with them so I know they'll just throw out or donate the gifts to goodwill.

They already have memberships to Funzilla, Please Touch Museum, Sesame Place, I already took them to Crayola exp in PA. Parents dont really have the time to take them to aquariums/zoos and since the kids have been already, might be boring.

Pottery painting seems too advanced, thinking about Janes Tea House as a cute experience for her and her mom. Already set on getting gift certificates for Holiday Ice Cream/Maple Shade Custard stand. Was gonna gift a shopping spree since she'll be in school soon and is outgrowing clothes but know that the parents would rather have the money and take them when they can, rather than me tagging along and paying. And also since parents asked me politely to not come back to school shopping with them so that was another gift idea i was gonna do.

Have heard about the fossil museum and storybook land but i dont think niece is into rides yet. Might consider getting her something from the Sesame gift shop if parent allows. Maybe gift card for Mango Mango as well and some of her favorite snacks. Want to give her a build a bear experience but again, parents may decline it and might be best to wait till shes a bit older. If its any help, shes into unicorns at the moment. Any ideas??

Need suggestions/recommendations for experiences.

I moved out here a year ago. I didnt have a license or car yet but I live with my sister, her partner and 2 kids. I babysat my nieces/nephews everyday last year for the whole spring + summer, including school pickup/dropoff by walking. I got a job, and my first winter came so I couldn't really go anywhere and don't know places either. I'd just ride with them, but would pay for my share of food, trips, (no gas bc they have a tesla) and help with the kids.

Now I do still watch them on weekends, but lately they've been going out as a family, stopped asking me if I wanted to come and while my "friends" are my coworkers who can't hang bc they have kids (theyre in their 40s-60) and not as free as I am. Im still learning to drive to other places, furthest is probably Hamilton station/columbus market/princeton area.

It feels lonely and am running out of things to do esp by myself. Ofc at times I enjoy being alone, driving with my tunes. But I feel like some places/events just have the vibe of needing to have someone/family/kids for me to look like I can be there (like amusement parks, etc)

I've tried local events but most vendor/township stuff are the same things, AI slop and overpriced. Farm events also have stuff that you just look at, and not reallt get in there and engage with the anjmals tho I understand its for their safety. I dont really care for game/trivia nights.

I'm looking to have more experiences like kayaking, horseback riding, I like nature (not hiking to an extreme, but exploring, botany, etc), love animals so any kind of hands on and interactice experience would be awesome! I've already been to many aquariums nearby. Been to Cape May Zoo with my sis and her family, trying to muster up the confidence to drive out there myself.

I am trying to attend concerts (Jonas Brothers, Ed Sheeran, went to Louis Tomlinson's weeks ago in MSG!) And plan for comedy shows of people I like. Love beaches (apparently beaches in America arent like our beaches in Asia 🥲), would love to learn surfing, go snorkeling, kayaking. or that thing where you sit in a rail road cart and zip through beautiful scenery. Train trips that go through the states. Help with rescued animals. Zipline, fishing, basically fun stuff that makes you feel alive! I do enjoy arts and crafts and want to take an experience class for pottery, tufting. Things like authentic Matcha class, baking/cooking class from an authentic. Drive in theater. Have been rollerskating at The Rink in edgewater. Been to NYC a few times, watched a broadway show. Really wanna go whale watching! I want to take the train and go to other states. I just need some advice on what to take where and other info as my sis isnt very much helpful, just tells me to figure it out.

I do enjoy the small stuff like book sales, yardsales, thrifting, cafes, LFL, errands. Sometimes I like attending kids events but I feel embarassed (as a mid 20s female who never got the chance to get free stickers, go pumpkin picking at a fall event or arts and crafts) and I don't have kids with me and dont want to be seen as creepy. If there are experiences that are for a good budget since my salary is slightly above minimim but am looking to get a 2nd or better job.

NHA certification raise

Any compounding techs (preferably NJ) have an idea of how much of a pay raise you get when passing NHA? I woukd assume PTCB gets you way more, and better chances at getting hired/good positions. And while I'm aware of jt varying by company, I just want to get an idea esp since I'm looking to moving out on my own.

Looking to purchase secondhand study materials for NHA!

I'm hoping someone's selling the official NHA study guide (the one launched back in March 2025) + practice test (printed version), Newstone's Excpt 2026 test prep, flashcards, laminated charts, etc. for laws/regulations, conversions, top drugs with details, dispensing, and billing.

Financial situation is tough rn, and the official guide with tests costs almost as much as the test itself. I live in NJ, so if ever I can do meetups! Out of state, i'm open to have it shipped.

Avoiding drivers tan

Any recs for affordable arm sleeves that provides great UV protection when driving? I'm brown skinned (asian), and while i dont mind being tan, it's worrisome when my left arm is shiny and super tanned whilst my right arm is on the lighter shade. Left arm looks like theres visible sun damage and I've been trying to get better as using sunscreen but would want the extra protection.

I prefer loose fitting sleeves than compression/tight fit, and affordable as well. I don't go out in the sun/day much or at all (usually just to work, home or a store) either. Not interested in evening out my other arm this summer because the UV rays are insane! Would rather let my skin feel sunshine during spring/fall/winter lol.

Thinking of getting my windows tinted but apparently in NJ they're very strict on it and its illegal. Plus I have astigmatism so tints would make it challenging for me to drive normally anyway.

Not Mayci with CONNIE BABY 😅😭

I'm so confused and jealous at this crossover bc wtf 🤣 the way i took SS and raaaaan here!!!

Mikayla also commented, I was totally not expecting this at all. Did they just meet recently or does anyone know if they've been friends?? Highly unlikely but in the best way I hope Connie baby (yes I know his name is Christopher) and Isabel stay away from the drama/being in the new season. I don't need my TSIP world ruined 🥲

Planning to take the NHA. Help!

I know it's been asked a few times here but most of the posts were from years ago, so I wanted to know if anything's changed or some new tip has come about.

I only have laboratory experience as an intern/student in the field of microbiology/biotech related subjects and got a degree in biotech. started working at a specialty pharmacy in compounding for a year now, got in house certification and we do have some annual quizzes/certifications to take via tovuti. I got inhouse certification from PTU (3 months, basically an online course) and honestly i just mostly compound the way i've been taught and don't really pay attention to drug names etc unless it's something like, whatever disposable tools i use during compounding a medication with specific ingredient i cant toss it in the regular trash, but in a separate bag connected to my hood and throw it in the special trash. or to not use metal spatula if this ingredient is used, to grind these first before running it in the Maz machine, etc. Just very basic stuff.

The only calculation I can think of that I do normally is the safety range (.9 and 1.1) when weighing, and for BUDs.

Any idea what the NHA focuses on (I'm still confused which to take, NHA or PTCB. I would ideally like to choose whichever's a bit easier since my knowledge is just basic and I'm not really looking to become a pharmacist, maybe perhaps a supervisor/lead but that's it. Mostly also to get a bump in raise and get certified lol) or which exam is suitable for someone in my situation?

Any recs for study guide (should i go for the typical study guides on Amazon, this one https://www.barcharts.com/quickstudy-pharmacy-technician-ptce-laminated-study-guide-9781423238768/ or the official NHA/PTCB study prep? The ones from PTU had interactive labs/situations like dispensing, reading a grad. cylinder, patient info entry, etc. so I'll definitely be using those, but would like some extra study guides.

Edit: Here are the topics from the PTU course I had to take, which of these topics do I need to study/focus on?

  • Anti-Infectives
  • Basic Anatomy & Physiology
  • Billing and Third-Party Processing
  • Bloodborne Pathogens

US merch (MSG)

Fair to say the prices are the same as online. There are some extra merch as well!

As of now (doors opened around 6 or 6:30?) Some of the merch is already sold out 😭 highly recommend coming early and lining up right away. There are multiple tables for the merches, doesnt matter where you line up unless one of the tables is sold out of a product. The guards in line let you kniw which ones are sold out and can let you out kf the line to go to another table!

Bracelets for MSG tomorrow!

Totally last minute (obvious by the mistake of not adding stars to On Fire and misspelling Sanity! But too lazy to fix them lmao.)

Can't wait to see what other bracelets y'all have made, also here's to hoping i'll be able to get on the last train to NJ and make it home in time before 5am for work the next day as a nervous girlie going to the concert solo and new-ish to NYC 🥲

Last train time for NY to NJ?

Me again!

Going to NYC to watch a concert on the 8th (Madison square garden). Concert starts at 7pm and not sure when it'll end. Maybe a bit after 10?

Anyway, its my first solo train trip so I know going to NYC I'll drive to the Hamilton Station and board to NYC (Penn Station I think?)

Any idea on the last train times going back to Hamilton Station and what train do I take (Newark?) I remember going with my sis that it showed up on the screen and everyone was rushing to the gate so I didn't have time to process or remember how to read it. And I highly doubt I'll be able to ask for help with the surging crowd. There are lots of apps for the trains/subways that Im still learning so I'd like to know which is best.

It's also a Wednesday that day, and I'm trying to save costs as a roundtrip is already $40. Would it be alright to catch the train mid day (so I could at least go into work in the morning) or should I go early in the morning? We've always gone early in the morning so not sure if the crowds are different.

Ideally looking for a cafe/coffee shop as well nearby where I can just chill till the concert or anything free lol. As much as I wanna hop around and explore, I'm on a very tight budget. At most I'd like to just get photos taken at a photobooth and coffee. Ty!!

Need help purchasing tour merch 🥺

I hope I don't get scammed, but I bravely moved out to the US from my country for a better life and its my first time actually having independence, a job, learning about taxes etc. (In asian culture, youre sheltered and its very strict) for the first time as a 26yo, and being behind everyone in life is such a struggle.

Currently living paycheck to paycheck and was able to acquire a ticket for the July 8th due to Klarna however Ive been wanting one of these merch shirts, I won't be able to purchase one at MSG that day due to I wouldn't have enough for gas to last me another week for work (I'm from NJ! And I think the shirts are $50 each).

If anyone is willing to purchase an extra one and I'll pay the shipping too (or meetup, depends on location as im a new driver hehe) on my next payday (the 17th!).

Or if you have an extra one already, I'll buy it on my next payday!! (I'm a M/L/XL).

You can hold it until I pay it, so you don't have to worry if you'll be scammed by me. I can even meet you on the 8th at MSG and put a downpayment of $10!! (I know its little, but times are really tough. Plus it costs $40 alone roundtrip train for me to attend the concert and go home 🫠)

Themed/organized junk journal?

I KNOW it defeats the usual purpose of junk journaling to be creative and all, but for the life of me im such an indecisive person.

I really am torn (and has caused me to have a bunch of hoarded stuff that has yet to be journalled) on whether its better to have themed junk journals like, for broadway shows i go to, or diff cafes i try, my day to day life, etc. or just have everything in a daily journal.

I want them to be in separate journals but at the same time I'm wondering how I can still keep a daily junk journal thats also my diary, while wanting to have scrapbook photoalbums. My main issue with it is how can I have enough stuff from one event (lets say my first broadway show which was HP and the cursed child in NY and got my playbill signed by the casts, including THE Tom Felton 🥲) to have the same with my broadway themed journal, daily journal, etc. If I separate the items to use for each, i feel like it wont be enough. And it feel a bit iffy about taking more than one item (lets say a cafe calling card, but taking like 5 copies instead of one, bc im also adding some trinkets or bits in envelopes/letters to send to my nieces/nephews in other states, like a free coloring page from the Crayola experience I went to in PA)

And Some events like my month trip in Washington state, ive accumulated lots of things that maybe I could just use the notebook I purchased there (the cover art and nb itself was by the native tribes) and have a singular journal for that trip and some left overs for my other journals like travel and daily.

And if I start, i feel like ill regret it and wont be able to remove the bits since theyve been cut or glued on. Someone please tell me im not alone 😅😭
